I picked this hotel from the Internet. It was a great location - next door to El Greco Museum. Area was quiet yet close enough to walk to tourist areas. Hotel has underground parking which was very convenient. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was new with jacuzzi tub. I would definitely stay again.

PIntor El Greco is down hill from the principal attractions of the center of Toledo; be prepared for uphill wolking. In fact, most of the ccenter of Toledo is accessible only by walking. Taxi from train station very convenient because of location.

Having a garage for the hotel was great in a city where moving around in a car is difficult. The room was nice, the bathroom was great and the staff was helpful. Location couldn't be better, steps away from the El Greco museum and within walking distance from everything in the city. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved this quaint hotel. It was very clean and in a beautiful neighborhood. The wifi didn't work in the room but it did work in the lobby so not a big deal! Only a short walk to the city center.

Very nice room with plenty of space for the two of us to stow our stuff. A window that opened! Heated floors in the bath. Wonderful bed. Near everything in the old city center; we walked everywhere. The Sercotel Pintor El Greco is located right on the edge of Old Town Toledo near the jewish quarter. To get to the hotel I would definitely suggest a taxi from the train station, 7 Euros is better than trekking your luggage up all those hills and around to the backside of the city. Once you get to the hotel you see how rustic they have made it look, […] but the quality of the rooms is great. It's conveniently located for all your quick walks into the city, and a super mercado is right near it for all your cheap shopping needs! The photo is deceiving. The superior room looks much nicer than the standard room, so I booked the superior room. But at the hotel, I got a room the same as the photo of a standard room. The front desk said there is no difference between the two rooms except the view: your room has a street view.. It's right on a bus line. Hotel is adjacent to the El Greco museum and within walking distance (mostly uphill) to local sights. Our room was comfortable and quiet. Parking is available nearby. Breakfast was not up to the same quality...fresh fruit and less watered down juice would have been an improvement. Staff was helpful.

This is a fine hotel. However, it is NOT 5-star. Service is very friendly and efficient, rooms clean and well kept, location of the property excellent for visiting the many historic sites in Toledo. However, the buffet breakfast is hardly high-quality, and parking can be a problem (or expensive).

Nice hotel, definitely an old building but has been modified. The room was clean with a nice modern bathroom. The only 2 downsides are that the TV didn't work, although we didn't call management to look into why, and we didn't have any type of view from our window but we did have a small balcony that we could walk out on. This hotel was hard to find our GPS said it was up the hill when in fact in was on the corner before the turn up the hill. Service was GREAT very informative and helpful about what there was to see and they are very honest since i found parking on the street the desk clerk told me it would be cheaper then using the hotel parking lot. Nice hotel location. The room was clean and comfortable! We had a problem with the air conditioner. Thought it did not work but the problem was that we had to set it in heater to get fresh air...breakfast was delicious! A good option!

The hotel staff was friendly, check us in quickly and answered all my questions. The breakfast buffet included cereals, hot items, juice and coffee and was great. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, with AC, refrigerator and WiFi. There is a free safe provided inside the room. There is place for luggage storage in case you have a late train […] ride after your room checkout. Old Toledo is a small city with narrow streets and you can walk to anywhere in this area in 5-20 min. Beware that June -August is their hot weather season and walking outside from 1pm-5pm can be a challenge, so we came to our hotel room to take a "siesta" and continue with our activities and dinner after 5 pm. In the morning the tourist attractions, museums, churches, etc open at or after 10 am, and some shops close for the siesta time. Read more

This hotel was fabulous. It is a beautiful historic building that was renovated into a hotel. There is old stone work everywhere, including stone archways in the rooms. The rooms are very nice and very large. They include a large TV, a mini bar, and mine even had a king size bed! The beds are huge and comfortable. Breakfast is great and has a huge selection. […] It is a good location in the Jewish Quarter. You have to walk up the hill to some of the main attractions, but that is part of being in Toledo. Great hotel, friendly staff. The parking garadge is 14€ a night and the entrance and exit are extremely tight (you can see all the scrapes from previous cars), so bring a small car if you are driving!

This hotel was nice and located right across the street from the El Greco Museum and the El Greco Park. Also a short walk to other attractions (e.g. 15-20 minutes to Alcazar), but be prepared to walk up and downhill. For us, breakfast was worth the extra cost - the food was Eurpoean-Spanish style with plenty of choices. Also, front desk gave us incredible […] restaurant recommendations that were not too expensive and had great food. Only minor problems to report...We could not regulate the water in the shower..it was stuck, but they came quickly to fix it. Also, the rooms are not soundproof and we could hear voices from hallway and rooms next to us - we could also hear water trickling from pipes from other rooms. We liked the fact that this hotel looked authentic, but had a modern feel and conveniences. There is also an internet computer in the lobby free of charge for guests. We would stay here again and would recommend it to others - but I would ask for a room with a window unless you don't mind staying in the lower level. Read more

This was a great place to stay in Toledo, Spain. We walked all over from the hotel. The hotel was convenient to catch the #12 city bus at Santo Tome and ride to Plaza de Zocodover. We then walked back, mostly downhill, to the hotel.
