A beautiful resort sitting by the black comb and whistler mountains. The staff are very friendly and informed. Their interpersonal skills are superb.

Average comparable to other hotels. Below avg for Four Seasons. The ski concierge was a nice service. The rooms were nice, but not on level that would be expected of the Four Seasons if you have stayed at another. They were maintained well - GREAT closet! There were 2 bars that close shop around 6:00ish. The Four Seasons is toward the back of it. We go to Whistler every year and normally stay at this four seasons or the fairmont. Over the past two years, we have always stayed at this four seasons because their rooms are bigger - we normally get a large suite for the whole family. I do feel the service quality has gone down the hill. Some staff really don't know what's going on and appeared very […] disorganized. Lots of mistakes, for example, we got calls for car reserved for others, lost our ski gears and had to wait for them to track down,etc. I'm guessing because they are using lots of temp staff so the service quality is hard to guarantee? some of the front desk staff are a bit aloof. Please get off the phone when you have customers waiting in line right in front of you! Restaurants feel a bit old - maybe we stayed there too much. Room service is also very slow. I hope the management really do something about it. I have to really think hard about where to stay next year, perhaps a condo is the way to go if I'm not getting the service I'm paying for. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff was very helpful and we used the shuttle service in a couple of occasions. The food in the restaurants was great and service was excellent. Although the hotel is in the upper village, the shuttle service makes it convenient to acces the lower village.

I am spoiled with all my prior Four Season's stays, so I was a little suprised by the rough edges on this one. I stayed at a one bedroom suite with my family. As usual, the hotel room was superb and the hotel was one of the best ones in the area. I hit a few rough spots during my stay: One was the disfunctional bathtub and the constantly leaking (super-noisy) […] toilet. The other issue was with their breakfast package. They offered me pre-paid breakfast for two (for $60) at time of check-in. The next day (after I had the breakfast) they left a message telling me that they cannot honor the breakfast offer because I booked through Expedia. I called and asked to talk with the manager. The manager later called me back, telling me that they can now honor the offer for the breakfast I already had but not going forward. It was a lot of back-and-forth for very little money. This is not a Four Seasons quality hotel. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the slopes. It does not make up for this inconvenience with an amazing ambiance. HIghly recommend. Easy 5 minute walk to the slopes, especially when you use the Ski Concierge services they provide. Everyone extremely friendly and there to help. Large rooms with gas fireplace...very comfy. Sidecut restaurant in the hotel is to die for. One of the best steaks I've ever had. Don't miss it.

The hotel is just beautiful and the service is everything you would expect from the Four Seasons. We loved the ski valet, afternoon hot cocoa, and the fire place in our room. There is a […] lagoon shaped heated pool that is perfect for an afternoon dip after skiing and several saunas around it. Even after the 4pm rush off the slopes, there was always plenty of room. What we really enjoyed was the pool side service that was always more than happy to bring cookies and mojitos. This was by far the most relaxing Apres Ski "party." One word of advice if you have never stayed at the Four Seasons - ask lots of questions. For instance, we didn't know that there was a complimentary shuttle running throughout the village all day and everyday until our third day. Also, we just happened to find the s'mores outside by the evening fire pit, and the ski concierge is complimentary - so give them your things. It's so nice to not have to carry your ski stuff all around the village. We spent our honeymoon here and it was perfect. We highly recommend this to any couple or family traveling to Whistler. Our expectations of the 4 Seasons was high having stayed at one of their hotels overseas. However, I was disappointed with this facility. Our room air conditioner couldn't keep the room temp down below 70 degrees and would head towards 73 during the day-warmer that I prefer it. We had a engineer work on the unit from 10pm to 11pm and he managed to get […] the air conditioner to stop putting out hot air. We also found the bar not to our liking. To us it seemed the bar was put in a wide aisle at the basement level. It was almost like the bar and restaurant were an afterthought. We spent time over at the Fairmount having eating, drinking and listening to music rather than spend time at the 4 Seasons. The grounds were immaculately kept and beautiful and took some time to use the outdoor pool and spas (there are three outdoor spas and the jets on one spa did not work). My recommendation: Iif you are going to spend money on a upscale hotel I would not recommend this particular 4 Seasons at this time. Read more

The room was lovely!! They "upgraded" us at gratis & made our trip extra special. We were celebrating our birthdays & Anniversary. The bed was very comfortable & the bathroom was terrific. All the employees are so young, sweet & always were helpful. Without question, we would stay with The Four Seasons again. The only down side, and it's not a big deal... […] is that the hotel is in the Upper Village which is a bit of a walk to the fun stuff. But the walking was worth staying at this hotel for sure. If you are interested in a quiet, beautiful & comfortable hotel, this is the perfect place for your vacation. They also had great shampoo/conditioner, bath gel & soap. It's made by L'Occitane which is a wonderful line of bath products. So leave your shampoos & stuff home since they have great product. Also, for the ladies, the hairdryer was compact, yet powerful!! Not sure about some of the extra charges... Like when we used the valet parking the charged us twice at $35 a time and all they did was park the car the day we arrived and bring it back at the end of our stay. I thought perhaps at first it wasn't the most convenient hotel to the mountains but the courtesy bus runs every 10 minutes and when I took a walk through the Westin which is located right beside the whistler gondola, I noticed all the noise and chaos at the Westin and I thought I preferred the four seasons even though I had to take the courtesy car to ski. I've stayed in the westin, the Fairmont and now the Four Seasons and I believe the Four Seasons is the best fit for me. There were a lot of people with young kids and I never once heard noise from the other rooms. I highly recommend the Four Seasons in Whistler. My room was 800 sq feet or bigger and I only paid for the standard room so that was a bonus also, maybe that I their standard size. Read more

Ethan Allen level interiors and clean. Very clean. Lots of storage for winter clothing both wet and dry. Fireplace...dogs loved that. In-room pet service spent three hours with the two dachshunds on walks...they were tired from all the playing after the rest of us came back from a day of skiing. They will set up the rentals and the ski school...all you have to do is purchase your lift tickets...military discount on lift tickets of 30%....10% for the rental gear. The hotel was world class....as good as the best luxury hotels in San Diego, Dubai, New York, and all the other places I have stayed around the world. Four Seasons in Whistler was a perfect place for a relaxing chill-out getaway - a warm and inviting room, fireplace, lots of space, nice bathroom, friendly well-trained staff, great gym and pools, free wine & cheese tasting... Excellent. Note the free WiFi is not free if you have more than one device.
