TownePlace Suites Gaithersburg by Marriott - Gaithersburg

The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. A full kitchen and living room area made it a nice stay. We arrived at the hotel at 3am and had no problems checking in even at that odd hour. The TownePlace Suites hotel was also located very close to a shopping center.

Have stayed here a a few times and I thought we booked a room with a seperate bedroom and pull out sofa but it was all one room. But it has the kitchen which is always nice and near everything in DC area. Will stay again i am sure. Coffee could have been better.

Stayed here between 8/25-8/30. This place was rather a disappointment for me and expected more from Marriott. First of all, the room is spacey and comes with a full kitchen, which is nice. However, the room stunk!! It's supposed to be a non-smoking room but almost smelled like a smoking room. I couldn't figure out what the smell was and get the smell […] out. The "fresh" towels were slightly damp. The description says it comes with a continental breakfast and a swimming pool. They have neither of them. They simply don't have the space to provide the breakfast so they only serve a few fruits. When I complained about it, they gave me a cup of cereal and a carton of milk, which was expired by the way. The swimming pool no longer exists and has been converted into a patio. The only positive was friendly staff. Read more

I enjoyed my stay at All suites Mariott. Then from there I flew to San Diego and stayed at the Residence Inn, Mariott, La Jolla. Although many services were similar but breakfast was better in San Diego.

I went to stay on the high expectations and so was harsh noise than expected. The sound from the next room, people passing by the hall sound, was hard on the outside of the train whistle. Give it a try for breakfast, but that the existing ration instant food did not want I think. Is quiet, but there was not good soundproofing and ventilation.
