Our group LOVED Juniper Springs! The staff was awesome, especially Jackson! They have a courtsey shuttle that they can take you back and forth to the Village or wherever your party needs to go. That was awesome, to save from cab rides, as this hotel is about a mile off Main st. The condo was great. Clean, beds were comfortable and the kitchen came in […] handy. We cooked breakfast each morning and they had everything we needed for cooking supplies! I highly recommend this place. Little Eagle was closed when we were there this last weekend, but that's Spring for ya. When they say ski in and out they mean it. It's a 1 minute walk to the lift and they have a locker room on the first floor for skis. The room itself is wonderful - granite countertops, fireplace, fully stocked with kitchen items, comfortable bed and hot showers. Perfect for skiing, couldn't be closer to Eagle Lodge. The hotel is very comfortable, except for one small complaint that the room was very hot without turning on the heat. Very nice place! Although there was plenty of snow, you couldn't truly ski in & out, but it is just a short walk to the lift. Rooms are "cozy" but comfortable. We only saw, and used one pool and 3 hot tubs, although the website says two pools and six hot tubs. Not sure where the rest are? Everything about the resort is good, although it doesn't have […] an onsite restaurant. We had a two-bedroom, #302. It has a nice view, really good beds, and decent kitchen and baths. (No granite, though.) Water pressure in the shower was just adequate. Underground parking is heated to 60 degrees, which is good for your vehicle and whatever you leave in it. I will stay here again! The bed was really comfortable, and the fireplace made everything cozy. The large pool was heated, and there were three hot tubs. The view out the window was amazing. We were there in October, so I can only imagine how pretty it would be in ski season.

Very clean, comfortable and quiet. I would recommend staying in this resort. We stayed in October to visit family in Lee Vining. There was just a little snow on the ground but the snow season had not begun yet. We only had a few complaints......dinning room table was missing a chair so we improvised and used an ice chest so we could all eat together […] at the table. Our room had no chairs on the balcony. We were told this was at the owners discretion. There was no cabinet to put groceries in but an empty wall where a cabinet should be. We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom condo room 313. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, pots and pans. Restaurants are pricey in the area so recommend bringing your own groceries or going a mile down the street to Vons. All the stores in town close up at 6:00 p.m. Overall It's a very nice place. Read more

We stayed during off season so not many people around. Nice room. Fireplace was not working (maybe due to off season). Hotel maintenance came right away and started the pilot light. The worker was friendly and efficient. Just a short drive to restaurants.

One bedroom suite had a comfortable king bed and a surprisingly comfortable pullout. Clean and ready to use full kitchen. The staff was above on beyond courteous and quick to respond to any requests. No amenities with in walking distance but if you have a car Main St is close by.

Stayed one night. I reserved and payed through Hotel.com. There were additional cost that I didn`t know. In addition to room charge, you have to pay resort fee, $20.00 + Tax , which sums $22.60.

Room was great. Secured underground parking. Pretty location. $20.00 resort fee should be shown in the advertised reservation price rather then added when you arrive. But overall I enjoyed myself very much and would recommend this hotel.

When traveling with family, it's great to have a full kitchen like this place does. Also, the heated pool and hot tubs were a hit with the kids. Only drawback: the appliances were the cheapest possible, and so very noisy. If you're sleeping on the couch (and not in one of the bedrooms with a door) expect to be woken up the refrigerator.

We would choose Juniper Springs anytime: the setting, the decor, the amenities, the price were all very good EXCEPT that the king size beds are much too hard. We are two married couples who all agreed that we awakened in the night each night with very uncomfortable back aches. That is not the norm in the nice places where we usually stay. Perhaps, without […] having to replace the beds, there could be optional padding available to make the beds less firm. I sleep on a firm mattress at home, but the bed in my Juniper Springs room was just not something I would choose to sleep on again. I would love to return to Juniper Springs and recommend it to others if I knew I could have a comfortable night's sleep. Please contact me if these changes can be made regarding the beds. Will be more observant next time I chose a hotel . Will not chose a pet friendly as this room had a dog odor even when the door was opened. On the positive side guest services recommended a great place to eat.

I felt like we were at home in our own apartment. The 1 bedroom was super clean and the kitchen had all the necessary items to cook meals. The location is stunning, make sure to ask for a room facing the mountains. We had the most wonderful stay. We stayed in the two bedroom condo. After being on the road for 3 days it was nice to have extra room. Our family of five was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding, so very helpful in every way. The game room was a big hit with our 9 y.o. son. We took the shuttle to Von's and bought steaks and grilled them at the […] hotel on the grills provided by them. Overall, the best stay of our trip. We enjoyed our family stay here in the summer. The resort is conveniently located and in a quiet area. The rooms were large and comfortable. Although there is no room service or on-site restaurant, our room had a fully functional kitchen. The resort also has grills down by the pool that can be used for a pool-side BBQ if you go out to the grocery store […] to buy the supplies. There is also a nice fire pit at night where you can make S'mores. One of the few negatives is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms and it did get uncomfortably warm one of the nights we stayed there. We really enjoyed the down-hill mountain biking at nearby Mammoth Mountain which has trails from beginner to crazy-daredevil. There are several nice restaurants not far from the resort and the local pizza places will deliver straight to the door of your room at the resort. Read more

Great place. Was a little warm in Mammoth and the rooms do not have air conditioning. It was an awesome place to stay. Clean, well stocked kitchen with everything you would need to make a good meal. Great transportation to all locations in Mammoth. Wished check in time was a little earlier...didn't check in until 4:00pm.

PRO: This Hotel is great for winter time, CON: 1) This Hotel is terrible for summer. Our 2 bd suite either has a broken air condition, or it does not exist. If it does have air conditioning, they did a great job of hiding the control so no one in our group was able to find it. 2) Our key cards did not work on the first try. The people next to our […] room have the same issue. Their key cards failed on the 2nd day. 3) Wireless internet connection. Some traveler claim it is available, but I could not make it work. 4) Our 2 bd suite is at a remote building, and it does not have Express checkout. No drop box can be found.
