"Best value for resort vacation"
Close to the lift, kitchen set up met our needs, overall great stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Spent the weekend in Mammoth so my husband and daughter can ski. This was the perfect hotel to stay in. Asked if we could check in 3 hrs ahead of their regular check in time and they accomodated us right away!!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place To Stay For A Multi-day vacation"
Stayed for two nights in October for our Fall Colors viewing trip. Staff was courteous in the front. We opted for a one-bedroom studio. The room came equipped with a fully functioning kitchen, one bedroom, and a sofa bed for the three of us to use. Overall the stay was very comfortable and relaxing, and would not hesitate to stay at again when staying […] in the area for a few days while on vacation. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A good value and great location"
This is a very functional property in a great location. While it is definitely not a luxury resort, it is a solid 3 star product with nice amenities and a great location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
very quiet and clean room. spacious and close to town for shopping and dining.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very peaceful. Beautiful souroundings. Very satisfied customers. Definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Absolutely loved our stay. Friendly staff and well supplied and comfortable rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Way to start Autumn"
My wife and i had a wonderful time. I just wish they would let us check in early. A lot of the rooms were empty but they made wait several hours for the room to be readyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Average Experience - Expected better"
Enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable. The suite was small. No drinking glasses, and no bowls in the kitchen. Juniper Springs was no where near full, yet we were disappointed to get one of the only rooms with a very limited view? The facility appeared worn and outdated.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Nice and comfy. Note that they don't have A/C. It was so cold outside to have the windows open either. So it became a little hot inside. But they did provide couple of fans on request.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Spacious and comfortable"
The room was spacious and comfortable. The only thing irked us after checking in was coffee filter from previous guest still in the machine. Next day it happened again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice spot for a getaway!"
We came up to Mammoth for the Fall colors and chose Juniper Springs for the location and amenities; the colors were bright and lovely and there was almost no one around so it felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. The road to the hotel pretty much dead-ends into the resort so it's nice and quiet. There is no restaurant in the hotel but each […] room is like a little condo with a full kitchen so you can do your own thing when you don't feel like going out to eat, which was nice. They have three hot tubs and a warm pool which are awesome for star-gazing. Only issues? Our room looked right onto the ski lift and rental area which could probably be noisy during winter season. In-room Satellite and wi-fi can cut in and out so don't tell your boss you'll be on call! :) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This was a special getaway for my mothers birthday and I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. I looked at several hotels and Juniper Springs Resort had everything!! The studio room was perfect, it had a kitchenette , nice bathroom, living room with a fireplace and a gorgeous view off private balcony. The local attractions were within less than […] a mile away. I loved it!! And would definitely stay there again and again!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The beds are old and the springs are uncomfortable. The refrigerator had a very loud humming and at night it was very annoying. It kept waking us up with the obnoxious noise.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was a good vacation. Nice hotel recommend to friends and familyGenuine Expedia guest review
On our trip to Yosemite we found this wonderful town of Mammoth Lakes. And Juniper Springs is a great mountain resort. It is the "off season"as this is a ski town, and the room rate was much less than that of Yosemite area. It took us less than an hour to get to the park.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One night get away"
Great place to stay for family to stay together. The 2 room condo was great to put the little one to bed and still stay awake and play a game with the rest of the family! Pool and hot tubs are fun and lots of games around. Only negative comment is of the gentleman at check in was short and rude. However the gentleman at check out was courteous and nice […] ! The hotel is in a great location with a lovely pool. Our room had a kitchenette, which was convenient, but you could smell it the moment you walk in to the room. And there was no way to turn the heat off, despite the heat outside, but otherwise, the place was great and a good fit for our family.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Had to pay an additional $20 per night (plus tax)"
Nice location, and close to beautiful hiking areas. We were surprised, however, that we had to pay an additional $20 per night "amenities fee." I would rather have known about this in advance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overnight stop on road trip"
Overnight stop on road between Death Valley and Yosemite. As experienced skiers we can tell it would be an excellent resort in the snow. But, it was really hot with no air conditioning and that spoiled the stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful view in the heat!"
The resort is very nice. The pool is small but fun. The bed was very comfortable, with very nice linens. The only issue is that there is no air conditioning in the rooms!! Summer, 85 degrees, and hot in the room. Only an old, loud fan to use….and just one for both rooms. I am sure it is not an issue in the winter, but they should inform guests ahead […] of time in the sumer. The staff was very understanding. THe gentleman at the front desk said the developer/owner has been asked to upgrade the rooms. He did offer some compensation, although I would have preferred a better night's sleep. "Don't get what you pay for."
Our room was hot when we arrived. There is no air conditioning. We were told to leave the window, door to balcony and hallway door open to get it to cool down. We left the balcony door open during the night and window but then couldn't sleep from the noise of guests arriving (we were right above the hotel lobby). Extra fees were added on when we checked […] out to pay for parking, pool and gym use, etc. No restaurants close by. Mattress on the bed was hard. Mattress on sofabed uncomfortable. Called front desk to see if they had a foam pad that could be put on it the guy said he would check and call me back but never heard back from him. Very disappointing! "Very good hotel"
Very good resort location and room. It was a little stuffy because there is only heat and no air conditioning and it was summer time. It was very pleasant at night but stuffy during the daylight hours with temps near 80 outside.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice resort"
Nice resort for both winter and summer. Family and kids friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"right next to ski lifts"
The front desk staff isn't very professional. The other hotel staff was excellent They have an issue with their key cards that they are aware of but it is inconvenient to keep getting those rekeyed especially when you have luggage in the hallway and no way of getting into your room OR when you want to drive into parking garage and key won't open door. Nice hotel. Pleasant staff. Game room ping pong table needs to b replaced BADLY!! Pool seems OVERLY CHLORINATED but it's a nice area. Large fire pit (great for s'mores, or so we thought), never worked.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel and rooms were hot (we were there in mid July) because there was no AC. Leaving the doors and windows open helped, but it was still warm. Our room had two portable fans, which were necessary for comfortable sleeping. Aside from that, it was a great experience. We will certainly stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location, nice facilities but could be maintained better.Genuine Expedia guest review
"5 stars at a 4 star price"
Excellent location right at the base of mammoth mountain. Great for skiers or hikers. Only a few blocks from downtown but feels like miles from anywhere. Staff was friendly and knowledgable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Terrible Hotel and terrible customer service."
Would never stay there again. Terrible customer service and the rooms are dingy.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great place but be warned..."
We stayed for a week in the two room condo. It was clean and spacious with all the kitchen necessities available, even dish soap! But be warned, this is a winter resort so there was no air conditioning. They provide fans so if you keep the windows open and the fans on it's very comfortable. It's was only hot (81 in the condo) when we first arrived. […] The parking is in an underground garage so the car isn't baking in the sun either. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just outside of town"
Juniper Springs was a nice stay. The 1 bedroom condo was comfortable for 3 adults and a child. Yes we had to drive a few minuets to get to the main part of town but that wasn't a problem for me. The room was clean. I wish the showerhead was adjustable. The only real complaint I have is that there was no AC. At least there was a small fan but it was […] on the whole time we were in the room. We also had to keep the windows open so that there was some kind of ventilation going thru the room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Loved our room and the area. Devils Postpile Park was beautiful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Booked for 2 night stay. First room smelled like propane leaking. I called the front desk and they acted like they knew it smelled so they switched me. Then the next morning get a call why I haven't checked out yet. I told them I was booked for 2 nights. They give me some attitude on the phone so I left.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place to stay for a Wonderful & Fun Vacation"
Wonderful place to stay and relax in Mammoth! Large living areas with plenty of room and several amenities. My family and I had the 2 bedroom with full kitchen and balcony (3rd floor - Sunstone building). The large balcony was over looking the resort grounds, surrounding mountains, trees with nature all around. I loved the secured indoor parking too. […] Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful from beginning to end. They also allowed us to place our 4 mountain bikes in storage at no extra charge. That was a big + for me. Our vacation was a complete success thanks to Jupiter Springs Resort. We plan on visiting and staying there again later in the summer and this coming winter during snow season. "Nice location to hiking"
The room was nice with the 2 bedrooms. It would have been nice if they had a restaurant in the hotel or a walk way back to the lobby from the other buildings. Staff was great, had a shuttle to take you anywhere you wanted to go.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overall a good experience..."
I liked the knowledgable hotel staff and spaciousness of the room. The room was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities (silverware, coffee maker, fridge, etc). I only gave this hotel a 4/5 because there was no ventilation/ac in the room leaving it extremely stuffy and warm if the balcony door was closed for any length of time (not a […] problem if you go in the winter). The walls also seemed abnormally thin, so we were able to hear pretty much anything going on throughout the hotel, even though we were on the fourth floor. Biggest plus: Room spaciousness. Biggest minus: Lack of ventilation. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Impressed by the cleanliness of the room and how quiet it was. Not impressed by the concierge, he minimally assisted us in finding a luggage cart. The other staff was friendly even the ground crew were nice. Will stay again soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"2 bedroom suite"
The hotel was just ok. A few Christmas decorations along with gramma's rag rug in the bathroom made our stay feel like we were staying at gramma's. It wouldn't take much to really make this place upscale.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Luxury stay in mammoth"
We came to Mammoth for a girls hiking weekend. Our timing could not have been better. The snow had melted and it was before the summer crowds came. The resort was empty so it was very quiet. The furnishings were beautiful. We had a two bedroom, one with a king bed and the other room with three twins, which seems unusual and good for groups or families. […] Full kitchen was nice and they supplied coffee for the maker each day. My only complaint is the carpet looked like it was not vacuumed very well and the beds were uber hard. "experience is ok for the price"
Hoteliers were gracious enough to give us a view of the mountains. The fitness room and the spa were working well. Shower pressure was good and there were adequate towels. The hair dryer and the television remote did not work. The room was clean and there were ample accouterments in the kitchen. The bed felt lumpy.Genuine Expedia guest review
we had a wonderful time and would visit here again. The staff was very helpful also.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed at Juniper Resort with my boyfriend on our way to Yosemite National Park. The hotel room is like a suite with kitchen, living room and bedroom. In the kitchen, all of the cooking facilities are provided which greatly benefited us. The room are very clean. The spa was very comfortable and relaxed us after a long drive. If you want to visit Yosemite, […] Juniper is at a good location. It's about 20 minutes drive to the Tioga entrance and on its way to Yosemite you can also view the famous Mono Lake! "Check the season before you book!"
Hotel was ok but information about what and how to do things was minimal. We were excited about our first ski experience but found we couldnt access any beginners slopes as we were a week too late! So even though we had booked this as a ski resort, there wasnt any and there was little else to do and no one offering alternatives. We still got charged […] the resort fee though! Also the room was overheated and the staff wouldnt/couldnt do anything about it. So while we were looking at snow capped hills, we were sleeping on top of the sheets with the windows open! "Noisy ceilings overshadow the nice decor."
Just like what some of the others said, we heard footsteps all night from the people in the unit above us. We must have been the only two families in the entire place, and the other family had to stay right above us! Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
