It was good enough to sleep comfortable but the location isn't great at all & wasn't near anything recognizable. But still a good place to sleep.

Room was a bit small for two, but fairly typical for England. We did not spend any time there except to sleep, so it did not matter. Bathroom large and modern. As with most hotels, electrical outlets are not near the bed, which will be a problem for someone who needs to plug in a CPAP or similar device overnight. The hotel lobby, rooms etc were quite clean and well maintained. The front desk staff were nice and helpful in pointing out places we wanted to get to, and the housekeeping staff were quite nice as well. The room included the basic amenities one would expect from a hotel of this quality - tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer etc. and everything […] was in good working order. A plus is the free wifi available throughout the hotel. However I found it hard to find a comfortable sleeping position on the lumpy mattress. The middle of the bed sunk so I had to sleep near the edge. The hotel is basically in the city centre and a short walk to the shopping centres, restaurants and anything else you'll need during your stay. As I mentioned my main problem with the hotel was the bed. If you're only staying for a noght or two its manageable, if longer, I wouldn't consider it. Read more

The Hotel was decent enough for a weekend getaway, but it wasn't worth the money. We paid a lot of money for 2 night stay and it did not even include breakfast. Breakfast was charged separately and was way too expensive. We preferred eating out as there are many options in the Market.

Reception staff were nice. Bar looked nice. Close to town. Don't get a room facing the road (it's noisy all night) or near the fire exit (people like to smoke and chatter after a night out). Counting sheep or bed springs did not help as sleep eluded me.

The room was clean and the staff was kind. Location is close to city center by foot. My room had two problems: the mattress felt overused. The shower's water cord leaked. Though it was minor, it could still be easily fixed.

Just what I expected for my money. Clean hotel, basic room, excellent service from deputy manager on check in. The first room looked like it had not been tidied so the deputy manager took our word for it and moved us to a larger room. Would stay again

Location is great, but it's very difficult to actually get to. The address should be stated as the small road at the rear, where the car park is accessed. Because the address is shown as the main road, car sat-navs send you sailing straight past it on the main road, from which it's impossible to stop and enter the hotel car park. Surly and expressionless […] Eastern European breakfast staff made me feel quite uncomfortable. Waitress kept asking me if I was finished, when it should have been obvious that I wasn't. I felt rushed. Cheap, bouncy and uncomfortable mattress is by far the worst I've had in a hotel. Room was just fine. Bonus features were the free parking and wi-fi. It's close to the city centre which is really handy (5 minute walk?), although you do have to walk through a slightly rough area to get there which perhaps wouldn't feel so safe to some late at night (there's plenty of taxis though).

room space fairly small and compact. Room was not ready on arrival on entering the room the maintenance man was still working on something. shower cubicle collated water,drainage was poor and there was no bath no bath no bath. I have been generous giving it an overall rating of 3.

For the cos of a nights stay this place is great. It's well kept, walking distance from the city centre, good service and clean rooms. The surrounding area isn't pretty, but for an overnight stay I wasn't there for the scenery! One of the best budget hotels I've used. Will stay again!

Have to stay for short stays in Leicester and have tried several hotels. Best so far are this and the Ibis. Campanile is same price but free parking and free WiFi so will be stopping here in future.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, the restaurant attached to the hotel served lovely food very tasty and resonably priced as well. Hotel was clean. The only complaint would be the bed, was very lumpy and a little wobbly. All in all tho a lovely hotel and once we got to sleep, slept very well.

Mug in hotel room had lipstick on it so not a great start. Room not very clean especially the bathroom. Water in the toilet would not stop running. Forgot to take shampoo and guess what, no shampoo in the dispenser. However staff were very pleasant.
