A short guide to Perth City Centre
The country's fourth largest city and booming capital of Western Australia is sprawling, but downtown Perth proper is bounded by the Swan River and the Graham Farmer Freeway and easily covered on foot. Museums, galleries, shopping malls, and pedestrian precincts characterise the CBD, while parkland wanders along the riverfront. The downtown area also encompasses East Perth, a former industrial zone now converted to residential streets, and Northbridge, a restaurant and nightlife hotspot that is also home to Perth's Cultural Centre.

Hotellet ligger i en attraktiv parklignende bebyggelse i East Perth med hyppig og gratis busforbindelse til centrum, som også kan nås til fods på ca. 25 minutter. Det er et "residence" hotel med venligt og hjælpsomt personale og med alt nødvendigt udstyr i rummeligt værelse med bekvem seng, en god arbejdsplads med internetadgang og et velfungerende badeværelse. Værelset bliver gjort rent hver 3. dag medmindre andet aftales. I umiddelbar tilslutning til hotellet er der cafeer og restauranter ved en smuk lille promenade langs en vig af Swan River. Kan anbefales, medmindre man søger hotel i luksusklassen.
