Courtyard by Marriott Orlando/Ocoee - Ocoee

Hotel was in the perfect location for our Ocoee family vacation. Staff was friendly and was quick to address concerns. Unfortunately they did not have a full working bar or restaurant so you always had to leave the hotel. The breakfast buffet was OK, but the service from the staff was excellent.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Marriott/Ocoee. The front desk personnel were always nice and helpful. The location was very convenient to the Clarcona Horseman's Park which was our destination for this trip.

It's a bit off the beaten path, but was very pleased with the cleanliness of the room, and the friendliness of the staff. Only complaint was the screaming match from the couple next door at 7:30am, but that wasnt the hotels fault. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We didn''t want to stay closer to were we had to be because of the bad neighborhood, so we found this Courtyard in Ocoee. It was perfect!! The hotel was clean and our room was clean. The free breakfast was great: eggs, bacon, bagels, waffles and even fresh fruit. I only stayed here one night but wished it could have been more. The only complaint that I have was that you had to pay extra for breakfast, complimentary would have been nice. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, if I could give them a 6 on service I would.

We enjoyed our stay. Asked for a top floor overlooking pool and garden and got it. Fellow who signed us in couldn't have been nicer. 24 hour coffee service in lobby was very nice. Small shopping center across McGuire st. which was reasonably safe to cross which my wife took advantage of after I left for golf course. After my golf, we went to a big shopping […] center which is about 6 miles away by interstate or 7 minutes. Very nice shopping and a Bonefish restaurant included where, of course, we ate---umm..good. We ate at Bonefish both Thursday and Friday evenings. We had super waitresses.. There is a Homegoods store there too and it is full of neat and different things. OK, more about the Marriott, It is a gem. It is fairly new, not crowded, reasonable price, good service, beds were very comfortable with 5 or 6 pillows, good floor plan and very comfortable. My wife had breakfast there on Friday morning and enjoyed it as it was prepared to her satisfaction. On Friday morning, on my way to the golf course, I dined on an Egg McMuffin at the McDonald's across the street from the Marriott. On Saturday morning we had breakfast at the Marriott. It was good. There was a bowl of fresh fruit. Actually peeled fresh orange slices, fresh melon, good scrambled eggs, and some very good bacon.......and lots of other stuff. We thought it was great. I booked my hotel with reservation because you never know what hotels are actully like outside of your own area. I had to attend at business meeting at the nearby turnpike headquarters and this hotel was in the perfect location. Staff was helpful and quick to check me in and out. My only complaint was some debris in the bathtub when I arrived.

We drove 20 mins out of our way to stay here, though there were MANY places to stay near Clermont (where we wanted to stay, but they all had smoking somewhere inthe bldg). Non-smoking throughout the facility was a must for us and this hotel came through. Ironically, when we pulled up to the curb in the pouring rain, a customer was smoking under the […] front overhang, 10 feet in front of the front sliding doors, and of course, the wind was taking some of his smoke straight into the bldg (we thought, oh NO, maybe this was a mistake!) - we asked him to move so the smoke would blow away outside, but it was pouring out, so he put out the cigarette instead. We detected no smoke anywhere near our floor or room or inner lobby dining and TV area, a welcome respite from all of those idiotic hotels with "no-smoking" rooms alternating with smoking rooms - polluting ALL of the air we breathe...making us sick for days. When our A/C broke down we needed a hotel close by our house. This hotel is well-maintained and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, which is very important to me. Our trip to Orlando was tailored so that our accommodations were near relatives. That left little to be desired. Fortunately I came across the Courtyard Marriott and was very pleased with the hotel. Room service forgot to replenish the hair conditioner a few times and one of the desk clerks was quick with the pleasentries but other than that, the hotel […] was great. There is a lot of construction on the main road (W. Colonial) so visually, the area is a construction zone. Likely when the road improvements are done, the area will be far more pedestrian freindly. Hotel was located off the main road and view was blocked by another hotel so it was difficult to find. Hotel was in decent condition and staff was helpful. Was close to Universal Studios but the area around the hotel is definitely low end and the Denny's there was the worst I've ever been to.
