Pines & Palms Resort - Islamorada

Hotel is located right on the road, you will not miss it, yet it's quiet and very relaxing place. It is right off the water, we can see the ocean from our unit. The only complaint is that their AC unit is super super loud. We literally woke up every time it kick on.

Great location on the beach. Excellent proximity to lots of good restaruants and activities. Not far from to Theater of the Sea. The fridge was a bit dated (no ice maker), but worked well. What Hotel that charges 279.00 a night does not have a complimentary ice machine? This one, but they will sell you a bag. That was my only problem with this quaint, quiet, clean charmer. A little pricey, but so very quiet and relaxing it's hard to fault them the rates. The landscaping is fantastic the beds are luxurious and the docks are perfect spot […] to meditate. The rooms are so clean that you can smell the bleach, so bring a candle to mellow it out a bit. the pool needs a hedge to block the ugly 70's building next to it and keep the guest in the old Florida time capsule the rest of the grounds seem to effortlessly create. Me and my mom spent 3 nights at Pines & Palms. It isn't super fancy but it is very well kept up and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. There is no restaurant at the resort but there are plenty close by. I would recommend "Lazy Days" restaurant. It's just up the road and the food is awesome!

We had a reservation for 3 nights and we had to change of room after the first night. The manager called us before to ask us if we agree to have an other kind of room, we were ok with that, but at the end she made us change room in the middle of our stay which is very unconfortable. Meanwhile she rents all her rooms 100 percent of the time, and makes […] money without offering a discount to people obliged to move! An other thing is that children with diapers, even little swimmers diapers, are not allowed in the pool. Nobody tell you that when you call to reserve, even if you ask for a crib. It's hard to explain to a 18 month child he cannot swim with you in the warm pool, he has to swim with the fish and the seagrass in the cold sea! It's a kind of paranoid "poop police". Read more

A wonderful, quaint place by the ocean, so relaxing, very clean. The only problem we had with our stat was the air conditioning unit. It did a great job keeping the unit cool but it was SO loud, we could not sleep. We ended up turning it off during the evening. Otherwise it was a wonderful visit

We stayed in cottage #12, which is unattached to any other so I didn't have to constantly be shushing my grandson in his occasionally exhuberant play. The hotel was exactly what we were looking for: great location on the water, relaxing pool with tiki bar, and a comfortable suite with parking underneath. Grounds were well kept, very tropical.
