Loved this play. Awesome location in town! Was very cute, cozy, and clean. Only downside is the room was supper small! But who goes on vacation and stays in the hotel anyway? We would def stay here again.

My husband and I stayed for one night. We enjoyed the restaurant onsite and also the hot tub. The front desk clerk was very helpful and kind. We were a very late check in.

The rooms are delightful but small. Couldn't ask for nicer personnel. The small room is balanced by a comfy library just off the street and a big table with games and puzzles upstairs for those nasty days. Many of the things we wanted to experience were within easy walking distance. One thing -- morning coffee comes VERY late.

Yes, the room was smaller than my own bedroom, but that's how things were built back then. The room was clean, climate controlled, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is right in the middle of all that is downtown. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very convenient location. Nice quiet rooms, but not for someone who wants to spend time in the room. The TV is small, the bathroom is small, the bedroom is small, the closet space is small, but Steamboat is such a great city, who wants to stay in the room?

Nice place, clean, great location and town. But - smallest room I ever saw, smallest bath sink I ever saw. No breakfast, no coffee maker, no small fridge.

Spent two nights. First night, I noticed a moldy, sewage-like smell when I checked in, but opened a window, took off and didn't get back till late. The smell was so bad I couldn't sleep. The next morning I had to wrangle with the staff person to get a new room. She said she had no idea what I was talking about because she never smelled anything. OK...like […] I have nothing better to do on a short getaway than complain about a nonexistent smell, pack everything up and unpack again? The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The hotel's location was great and we could walk to all the shops and restaurants easily. The hotel was very cute and unique. The room was small but still loved it. I would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

The room was smaller than we envisioned. When the staff camei n to "clean" the second morning, they did not smooth the bed, empty the waste basket, replace the shampoo or hand lotiion used, or replace the plastic glasses in the bathroom. I was disappointed by this aspect of the service--or no service. The room was quite dim at night due to, I guess, […] the low wattage bulbs in the fixtures. The Bristol is in a prime location for enjoying everything in this sleepy mountain town. I say sleepy because the whole town closes at 8:30 and doesn't really open until noon the following day. There are some great restaurants and bars on the Yampa river that stay open late that are highly suggested. The Bristol itself is a nice hotel, friendly staff, […] and well appointed. The rooms however, are smaller than our master bathroom, and the queen bed seemed more like a full. There were a ton of gnats in the bathroom that seemed to come from nowhere when the light was on. Upon turning on the sink there were at least 10 of them stuck to the sink just in the time it took to brush my teeth. Overall a nice enough hotel for a small town. Read more

Others speak about the small rooms. The Bristol is from a different era. There is modern AC, which we did not use. Service was pretty casual, but competent. Lincoln Ave is Hwy US 40. The room window, which could be opened, looks out on the parking lot, and another building, not very scenic. Free city buses run down Lincoln going directly to the ski […] slopes, convenient. The big advantage is the location, downtown, just one block from the Yampa River. Many restaurants. The two we ate at were good. There are other motels nearby. We did not check them out. My guess is the Bristol is a better choice, even with the higher price. The bed was good. Steamboat has many hotels, with lots of mundane chain places. Read more

We had a great time at this hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. It is convienant because it is right in the middle of downtown Steamboat and my fiance and I could walk everywhere! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return :)
