This property is a time share location for Marriott, not really a hotel. The room I had was a bedroom which apparently connected to a more normal condo unit based on the floor plsn. The property is hard to find at night with no sign at the road perhaps because of the nature of the property. The room was comfortable but nothing extraordinary.

The facility and the staff are great. My only disappointment is that the checkout time was 10 AM (on a weekend) and there wasn't any option for a late-checkout; we felt a little rushed.

There are some hotels that make you feel like a guest then there are those that make you feel like family. My children and I stayed just one night, but it was the best quality time we've had in over a year. Yes' we will return again and again and would suggest to everyone to spend at least one night in the Canyon Villas. It's kid tested and dad approved.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Labor Day stay at the Canyon Villas, and to our delight, found that there were plenty of playmates for our two young boys. There were things to do for both old and young, and the many pools throughout the property were simply breathtaking!! The staff were prompt and curtious and every guest we chatted with was very nice. The 2 bedroom villa is IDEAL for children. Bring your own meals as the cooking facilities in the room and the numerous BBQ grills make you feel like you're at home.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Great pools for adults and children. Very nice fitness area at no extra charge. Access to other hotel pools across street, approx. 0.5 miles away. Great for families.

I stayed at the Canyon Villas for business. My villa was very clean and very comfortable. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Only downside was no restaurant for villa location. A shuttle is available to the main resort. There are many restaurants in the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again...for business and pleasure.

The Marriott Canyon Villas is actually a timeshare property. My one bedroom unit was essentially like a nice hotel room with a small kitchenette. There are not the usual provisions that you look for as a business traveler (mini bar, complete toiletries in the bathroom, convenient place for breakfast). It is also challenging if you don't not have your own car because the property is off the beaten path and you have to time the shuttle. It is a great property if there on leisure - particularly if you're a golfer - and can pick up your own groceries, drinks, etc. Pool areas are very nice.

Rooms exceeded our expectations. Very luxurious. Granite counters, nice furniture, beautiful decor. Full kitchen helped with a quick breakfast and snacks. Bath in larger room has a sink and tub, then a sink and shower in a seperate room. Nice to be able to have two getting ready at a time without running into each other. Hotel has activites scheduled daily for family and children. The amenities at the JW Marriott hotel adjacent to the property are usuable by the Villas customers. We used the pool at both locations, but discovered the lazy river for the kids at the hotel. Staff was very nice.
