For a "suite", this was very small. It was nice to have a separate bedroom, but the space in the living area definitely suffered in the design process. Not comfortable for a family with teenagers.

Nothing compares to being in your own home. The next best thing is staying at a hotel with amenities just like home. The Grandstay in La Crosse was just what we needed. The room was a one bedroom suite. The kitchen was very functional with a full sized dishwasher. We experienced a relaxing evening and a quite night. The staff was polite although not always at the desk. We had to wait a couple of times for them to surface from behind. located five minutes from 3rd street and river. easy parking. free breakfast in the morning. staff was great. rate was reasonable. room was fine. second time staying here. would stay again. not too many really nice hotels in this area. the radisson is a dump and needs major renovations.

Stayed in a Queen two bedroom suite with kitchenette with 4 adults. Although nice and clean it was cramped and the beds were doubles not queens. The kitchenette was very basic 4 of everything and 1 pan, and 3 miscellaneous utensils. 1 cup coffee maker, 2 burners, microwave and fridge. Good if you cook out of boxes and not with fresh food. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and simple. It had a kitchenette, but remember to bring all of the utensils, dishes, paper towel, dish soap, etc. if you want to use it. The carpet had a musty odor but looked clean. There are no king size beds here, so be prepared for a queen. I would stay here again.

My only concern was that someone entered my vehicle and ransacked it, although nothing was missing. I realize it should have been locked, however it would be nice if the hotel had better security. I was parked right in front of the entrance to the hotel.

This hotel was fairly well-kept and our room was large. The complimentary breakfast was average and the bed was uncomfortable. Instead of a mattress pad, the hotel places a thin blanket on the mattress before putting on the fitted sheet. Most the time, the thing that customers are looking for is a comfortable bed to sleep on after a long day of driving. The bed at this hotel had comfy blankets and lots of pillows-- however the bed itself seemed kind of hard. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
