"OK for short stays"
I usually pick Novotel Vitacura because is really close to our office in Santiago, if I have to visit for a couple of days. For longer periods I would select another option since the rooms are quite small and movements have to be calculated with surgeon´s precision when you move around the room. Attention is OK and the breakfast buffet is good. I haven´t […] tried the room service this time but in my previous experiences it was average.
"Perfeito até o check out"

"Best Hotel in Santiago"

In Santiago for business for a week? This hotel is a must! Is pretty close to all major city attractions, including Parque Arauco Mall and Parque Araucano park. So your shopping and fitness needs are covered! Has very confortable beds, a good breakfast buffet, great wifi coverage and a world class customer oriented services. It is situated in a beatiful neighbourhood and is also close to major mainstreams so you can get off traffic jams in a glance!
"Remarkable value for money: good food"

Every now and again you have a pleasant surprise, and the Novotel at the junction of Vitacura and Vespucio Norte was one such. I have awful memories of the dreadful Novotel in São Paulo, and amazing memories of the superb new one in Mumbai, so this was an unknown quantity. First impressions: unpromising. A lot of stark furniture, an equally unwelcoming bar ambiance, and a restaurant that looks functional but no more. but the staff were friendly (charming girl named Melissa spoke excellent English), so it boded well. Room: functional, no frills, a bathroom with a decent bath and high-pressure shower, but not much in the way of storage space. Comfortable bed, decent TV with the usual selection of crap Chilean programmes and crap dubbed American ones, and free wifi. And so it should be. A drink and then dinner. An excellent pisco sour was mixed in front of me. So good I had another. The menu promised much, but I have learned to district menus that promise a wide variety of dishes, because it speaks of a capacious deep freeze. All I can say is that the food was extraordinarily good, beautifully cooked and well presented. It deserve a much better ambience than the chome-and-plastic open-plan restaurant deserves. Ceviche was plentiful and excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection, and the fish dishes were just as good. I drank glasses of the house wine and didn't sample the wine list, but you can't go wrong with most of the wine in Chile anyway. Breakfasts? Good fresh fruit, the usual uninspiring Chilean cheeses and hams, good bacon and scrambled eggs, good pastures, decent coffee. Avoid the sausages! I stayed a week. My favourite hotel in Santiago is still the Plaza San Francisco, but this was, at around £41 a night for b&b, and maybe £25 a night for dinner, including wine, phenomenal value for money. Really very, very strongly recommended. PS: A chilean friend in Santiago said he'd heard the food was good….
"Great place to stay"

We recently enjoyed an eight week tour of South America and we used the Novotel in Santiago on at least five separate occasions. Each visit we had a very comfortable experience. Very friendly helpful staff with good English provided information about things to do and how to do them. The Hotel is situated in an upmarket residential area and we always felt safe when walking to and from the local restaurants. The hotel is in walking distance to at least two of the larger fabulous shopping precincts. You can also easily walk to the starting point for the double decker hop on hop off bus. Breakfast is excellent and we enjoyed late dinner a couple of times with a great selection on the menu. The rooms and comfort of the beds are good standard as expected at Novotel.
"New, modern with all the expected standard offerings"

As per other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised by the facilities offered here. Room size was adequate, bedding was great...shower facilities alittle on the tight size. Nonetheless, very modern and very clean. Breakfast facilities and food choices were great. Staff assistance was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
"Average for the Money"

The hotel is very good but also expensive as others in this category. It is well located and facilities are also OK. Rooms are old fashioned: Windows cannot seal the wind and some noise is also coming inside the room.

Smart hotel in peaceful Vitacura neighbourhood. Conveniently close to malls, superaccessible by car. Large & beautiful rooms and royal breakfast, free parking underneath is an added bonus. Sorry that the pool is small & monopolized by aquagym lessons for weight-consious ladies.
"has everything, but missed a detail"

I stay at this hotel very regularly, I noticed that the menu has improved a lot, and the rooms are quiet. The only detail that caught my attention was with the people of reception desc, where some atendententes were very king and others were arrogant treating their customers with contempt.
"Not a luxury hotel, but a very comfortable one"
06/24/14 BrazilViajante Sao Paulo, SP
Although it is expected for a Novotel that a certain standard will be present, there are always some units that exceed the expectations. The rooms are large, comfortable double bed, sofa, desk, TV set with a decent choice of programs, enough energy outlets to charge laptops and cell phones (a universal outlet converter is available at the bathroom). Some may find strange the toilet in a different compartment than the rest of the bathroom (equipped with separated shower and bathtub), but it haven’t bothered me at all. The room in a high floor facing the side street (not the Vitacura avenue) is very quiet. Temperature in the room is very nice, even when it is really cold at the outside. Staff is very friendly. At the reception desk, they are always ready to give information about the hotel and the city. A nice surprise was the birthday brownie my travel companion received at the breakfast. The breakfast, by the way, was really good. The hotel is in a residential neighborhood away from the main tourist attractions, but near a lot of good restaurants, a walking distance from a major shopping mall and very well served by public transportation that can take you everywhere. If you are looking for a very comfortable hotel and has no problem staying a little bit away from the city center, this is a very good choice for you.
"Quality and new hotel"
05/25/14 Stefano M Lugo, Italy
I spent 3 nghts at Novotel Vitacura on my last business trip to Santiago, I choosed this hotel because close to my customer's place and he booked it for me, I am also Le Club Silver, the hotel is new, modern furnishings, nice Restaurant with great and quality buffet for the morning breakfast, I didn't try the dinner restaurant as the hotel is close to various quality restaurants just around the corner, to get to Old Santiago you need a taxi as by walk is too far, the hotel is located in a residencial but beautiful area, rooms were very cleaned in the typical Novotel style which is the same worldwide
"Nice and friendly"
