Good: the shuttle Not so good: the water for the shower would not get hot. Carpet felt "sticky" on bare feet. A/C filter may have needed changing as both my husband and I had some allergic-type reactions. Cough & burning eyes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
one of the reasons I booked this motel was price and the shuttle service...the shuttle service was Excellent! I was with a group of young ladies and the shuttle service was wonderful for getting us to the downtown activities. Would definitely use again for this type of function. Thanks so much.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Fine for the price and close of OU medical center"
Overall, it was an ok stay. The hotel itself is an older hotel. So, nothing super fancy. It is pretty clean, and every time we were out or in the halls we saw a maid cleaning something. Only saw one bug, but it looked like a beetle. We took a swim closer to the end of the day, kids pool was very dirty and adult pool had a few leaves. Not sure if thats […] because of other guests or if they just hadn't cleaned it yet. One nice thing about the pool, is that they provide towels in a cabinet. Staff was very friendly and worked well with us. Only real complaint was about the complimentary breakfast. Over the phone they made it seem like it was a full breakfast (waffles, eggs, bacon, etc). It was not. They only had waffles, biscuits and gravy, cereal, apples, oranges, boxed juice, coffee, and water and non of it was good. Overall a decent stay, but disappointing breakfast. "not what i expected"
No elevator. Hard for older folks like us. Room smelled. It was clean and the hotel was pet friendly. 2:30 in the morning someone let themselves into our room. Front desk put them in our room. Good thing we had the security latch on so they couldn't do more than unlock the door. We wouldn't stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very clean and friendly"
The Hotel offered a shuttle to Bricktown and the drivers were friendly and recommended good places.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I thought the location was in the heart of Bricktown, it was about 2 miles away. This might have been a good hotel in the 1950's! The only thing good about it was they had a free shuttle to Bricktown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
OK, so the location isn't the best but I didn't feel unsafe. It is an older property which definitely needs some updating, but the superior service trumps these shortcomings. Took advantage of free shuttle twice--to go to river and then the memorial.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Shuttle Service Amazing"
Hotel staff was very nice & helpful. Shuttle service was the reason I stayed there and it was amazing. Nice to go to Bricktown or anywhere and have a ride. Breakfast was super and till 11am on Sunday's (great since I stayed out late on Saturday.) I was extremely impressed!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Average hotel redeemed by good service"
The hotel itself is no more than average, but the shuttle service makes this place worthwhile. There's nothing special about the room or the amenities (though the hot breakfast was quite nice), but you get an on demand 24 hour shuttle to the Bricktown area of town. Bricktown is the local "tourist" area that houses most of the attractions and restaurants […] that travelers would want to visit. For someone like me who hates driving in cities, the shuttle was a godsend. When you want to return to the hotel, just give them a call and within 10 minutes the shuttle is back to pick you up. Service staff was extremely friendly as well. My only complaint was that the shower was broken, which was a fairly big deal, but I took a bath instead. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We thought, based on the name that it was near the Brickyard. It was 2 miles away, in a seedy neighborhood. With a Waffle House across the street, and the Highway on one side, and a truck-stop on the other. The free breakfast looked so bad, that we skipped it and when out to breakfast. I would not stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good shuttle service to downtown"
2nd time I've stayed, and the shuttle service and inside of the hotel has overcome the exterior look of the hotel. I will stay again. I stayed in April 2012 for OKC Marathon, and more recently on a family vacation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The place to stay in OKC"
Been here a few times, always a great place to stay. You can pay double in BRICKTOWN, or stay just out side BRICKTOWN and enjoy all benefits. Hotel has a shuttle to take you to and from BRICKTOWN. Place has been redone, clean updated rooms. Great beds, Flat screen TVs. Great Staff and Service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The building and room were in pretty good shape in terms of repair and cleanliness. The free shuttles to Bricktown were very convenient as well. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy but otherwise it was a good experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Extremely friendly staff. They make sure you are taken care of your entire stay. The AC was messed up when we got there, but the front desk had maintenance there within minutes and he fixed it right up. He even gave us some good suggestions for dinner. The 24 hour shuttle was fantastic! We shuttled to and from Bricktown both nights. The drivers were […] very friendly and gave suggestions on the best places to go. When you were ready to be picked up they were there within 5 minutes. The room was minimal, but that's all we needed. We had continental breakfast both mornings, and that was also good. "Good for a cheap trip to Bricktown"
I used the hotel for three nights when looking for an apartment in OKC. The hotel is not pretty on the outside, but the rooms inside are very nice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to Bricktown, the major social area of OKC, which my friend and I used every night. Combine this with the free parking, this is a great choice for those on a budget that need […] to come to OKC considering that some of the nicer hotels in downtown Bricktown make you pay for parking. "Good budget hotel - love the shuttle"
This place probably used to be really nice, and there are aspects that show someone cares and is trying to make improvements. However, you can't change the cramped bathroom and not that great location. You can change the dirty carpet sitation however. That being said, I would consider staying here again. First of all, it passed the bedbug inspection […] right off. We slept like logs in the king bed (with my white noise app on full volume, could still hear highway noise), even though the pillows were as flat as pancakes. TV and internet worked well. Fridge & microwave weren't needed, but good to have. Could use more outlets in accessible places. The woman who does the breakfast buffet does a great job. Bread/bagels individually wrapped so they don't dry out, lots of selection, good coffee. A high point, as is the shuttle, which saves you from driving to Bricktown & lets you imbibe without worry. All the employees were friendly, helpful and professional. Overall, a good budget hotel! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Brick town hotel"
The service there was phnominal, even on the holiday weekend when they were shot staffed. What we loved the most was the shuttle service!! Took the stress out of the equation, did not drive once. Will definitely stay here on our next visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was a convenient location and the staff was great but the condition of the hotel is a tad rundown. It is also next to a truck stop so quiet time does not happen.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the staff and overall accommodation was great, couldn't ask for better service. the shuttle buses and drivers were very courteous and helpful. speedy service and friendly folks and helpful if u needed it. breakfast and service was excellent and a very friendly and efficient group keeping things out to eat. location leaves a little to be desired but […] felt safe and secure. cant do much with the location part but overall service was great and good comfortable rooms and great service. would definitely stay there again. "Availability of free shuttle service/breakfast"
It was a good stay. The staff was most friendly and cooperative in any request you might have. Unfortuanately after returning home on Sunday I discovered a bullet hole on the passenger side of my car in the back bumper region. "Room smelled like chemicals and was hot"
The A/C didn't cool the room down and the room smelled like chemicals with no way to air it out. The freeway was about 12 feet from my room, not very impressed. If it was a 35$ a night hotel, I'd say it was alright, but for the price I paid this was pretty janky. Don't recommend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
The ratings were so good for this hotel ... I was shocked to find it in a "semi-bad " part of town. The outside looked very questionable ... But the rooms were nice, clean and quiet. The lobby and breakfast were also good. If you just need to sleep and care nothing about vacation atmosphere or the location the price is right and service is good. "Shuttle is the best"
Great hotel - Older but remodeled. Great Beds, flat screen TV's. Owner is on the property all the time. Staff is very good. Shuttle to Bricktown is the best. Runs until 11 pm. Takes you and picks you up where ever you want. The place to stay in OKC.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK hotel, overpriced for what you get."
The hotel was fairly clean, dated though. Looks like they may be trying to do some minor updates. Our cold water wouldn't work in our shower, had to have maintenance come and fix it. It wasn't terrible, but was definitely overpriced for the room. The one a few blocks down was half the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"They saved the day"
My friend and I stayed at this hotel the night before our marathon. We were able to take a shuttle bus provided by the hotel to the downtown area, so we could pick up our registration packet, eat, and etc. We called for them to come pick us up and take us back to the hotel, and they were very prompt on getting to us. The next morning, they had several […] shuttles ready, snacks and drinks those participating in the marathon, and worked with us so that our check out time was 1:00 instead of noon. They even provided us with maps of where they were going to drop us off and pick us up from the marathon. The marathon was delayed for two hours due to bad weather, so of course we weren't back in time for the 1:00 check out time. As we were on our way up to our room, I explained to the lady working the front desk that we would hurry, she told us not to worry about anything, and that they completely understood what happened and to take our time. We will definitely be staying there again in the future for the upcoming years we run the marathon! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"shuttle only good part"
People were nice and shuttle was awesome, we were there for the marathon and didn't have to deal with traffic and parking. Room was old, not real clean, beds sucked and pillows were lumpy. "Not quality I expected"
Our room had a hole in the ceiling, bed was unkept. But we had been out partying on Bricktown, so it wasn't a huge problem. The next morning the shower wouldn't work. So went to friends room to shower. Theirs you could only do full blistering hot, or ice cold. No middle. So went to another friends room, theirs would just barely trickle out. So no shower. One night stop to hang in Bricktown on our way to Austin. The hotel was older but clean. The price was so much lower than being in Bricktown and the 24/7 shuttle made it so handy. "No Elevator and Loud Pluming"
The only problem I had with this hotel is: 1. They did not have an elevator. So if you have bulky luggage, be prepared to carry it up a flight of stairs. 2. You can hear the pluming. If your neighbors used the bathroom, you would hear the pluming running for 20-30 minutes after. It was loud, and made sleeping difficult.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Definitely not worth the price"
I really wish I could've cancelled the reservation on this room as soon as I saw the outside and it only got worse from there. Given the location and age of this hotel, plus the lack of upgrades to any part of the hotel I saw, I would definitely not stay here again. Although everything was clean, it was not worth the price. The first shuttle (a mini-van) […] we rode in had seats that were badly in need of repair. As I tried to scoot across the seat, I was sucked down into the cushion due to lack of springs. The second shuttle was a scuffed up express van that had seen better days. And I am only giving the hotel staff and OK rating because the shuttle driver played inappropriate music during our rides; everyone else was great. The room itself was adequate but given the price paid should've been bigger with a bigger bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was very good but the dining room was very outdated and the booth we sat in needed new springs in the cushions. Overall, I give this hotel a D-. Outside of the Hotel had us worried, but the inside was much nicer. Stayed for a Concert and they had a free shuttle that took us right to the front door & back. "It was there."
I had decided to stay at Bricktown Hotel after a long trip. The hotel in general seems neglected as though the owners do not care about keeping it up. The room happened to have the coffee of the last guests, and my blanket had some sort of sticky piece of junk on it. As for the free breakfast I hope you like carbs because there was no protein of any […] sort, but that may be a consequence of being in OKC moreso than the hotel. On the plus sides the hotel is very close to I-40 and the staff was friendly, but did not seem to care when I told them about the old coffee. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Oklahoma City Hospitality at its FINEST"
Wow. This little nugget of a hotel is a true gem! We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at The Bricktown Hotel & Convention Center and will definitely book here every time we are in Oklahoma City. The service and staff (on EVERY level) are excellent. Chain hotels could really take a lesson from the folks here. Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and […] exceeded our expectations in every way. Misty is amazing-I wish I had taken note of others' names to mention them as well. The continental breakfast is great with many choices and better than your standard fare at chain hotels. The free shuttle service to local attractions and Bricktown area was priceless. The drivers were first class. Our room was very clean and well kept. Plenty of towels, great mattress, lots of pillows and a hot shower every day, regardless of when we used it. The pool looked inviting-even a wading pool for little ones! The bar in the hotel became a fun spot we looked forward to at the end of the evening. The bartender was fantastic-super service and hospitality. My husband travels throughout the country often. Said this hotel was one of the best in regard to service and value.
