Room was ok. What you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Clean room with a double size bed and shower/toilet. The bed was small and hard as a rock. There was a flatscreen hd tv in the room with about 30 channels. Only around half a dozen were in english. Location was a little difficult to get to. Lots of one way streets. First of all...there were some positives. Free parking on the street next to the hotel and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. But then....Yikes! There was spray from a coke can (at least I think it was coke) all up the back of the door to the room. Paint was literally peeling off the walls in the bathroom and the dust along the wall boards […] was so thick you could probably write your name in it. Also, when I walked on the floor anywhere near the wardrobe, it completely shook. I'm not a heavy girl...56 kg...seriously! I don't know if we just got a really bad room but I was really quite shocked to see how dumpy it was (and I've stayed in some pretty dumpy places). The hotel location was a little cumbersome to get to town with a ten minute walk to the closest tram but was well worth it for the price. The room was large on European standards.

A bit out of the way from the main tourist attractions/area, need to take the metro to get there in a timely fashion. Not much around the hotel in terms of restaurants and bars, which is where the walking and the metro not running at night come into play. Hotel was clean, well maintained and the room was fairly large by european standards.

The rooms were very small but clean and the bed was comfortable. We were on the Second Floor and the stairwell was narrow and steep. Luckily, we only had carry-on bags to manage. There was adequate parking and many restaurants to walk to. The Moet and Chandon building was very close as well.

The hotel was more than we expected for a three star. The staff were really friendly and really attentive. The hotel is only a ten minute walk from the metro station schuman, and there is a city sightseeig bus stop located only 10 minutes away too, the main mode of transport we used. The hotel did have some maintenance being done, but they were apologetic […] and it did stop over the weekend. The hotel was really lovely, but the only downside was the hotels shower and toilet are separate with the sink with the shower so you have to walk to get to your shower in room, not best for us hygiene obsessed brits! Ground floor room was very noisy. No coat hangers, no wifi (didn't work, no effort to fix it), no facilities in room other than tv. Shower entrance too small. Bed clothes too small and inadequate (no spares available). No bar. Difficult to see tv from bed. Sockets located in awkward places. Surrounding area had no shops or bars (nearest 10 minutes away […] and expensive). ONLY redeeming feature was proximity to Commission and Council. Parliament is a good mile further at least. Hotel normal, tirando a bajo porque es viejo, pero limpio. Pero en esa zona con un precio bien. Están de renovaciones. No les funcionó el sistema de "wake up call", aunque afortunadamente ya estaba despierto.

Het hotel was aan het renoveren en de kamers op de verdieping waar ze aan het verbouwen waren, werden ook ingezet. Eén van die kamers kreeg ik. De kamer was stoffig door de verbouwing en er kwam zelf een bouwvakker mijn kamer binnen. Niet echt plezierig. Jammer dat ze geen andere kamer konden aanbieden. Het hotel leek verder prima.

Malgré la propreté des lieux, l'hôtel aurait un grand besoin d'être rénové (peinture, huisserie,literie...). Le buffet du petit déjeuner est complet mais ne mérite pas son tarif (14€)Je ne recommande cet hôtel qu'en dernier ressort.

Si vous êtes sensible au bruit, passez votre chemin ou prévoyez des bouchons antibruit. L’hôtel est mal insonorisé. Les chambres sont mal insonorisées entre elles et aussi vis à vis de la rue. Le petit déjeuner est cher pour l'offre. A part ça, les chambres sont spacieuses et propres.

Hola. He estado una semana con mi novio en varios hoteles de Bruselas, yendo de oferta en oferta. El hotel Chelton posiblemente fuese el más cutre de todos ellos (a la par de algún albergue y peor por ejemplo que el Charlemgne). Lo malo: Internet no es gratis sino que cuesta 5€ cada hora, tanto el wifi como el PC. El ascensor no tiene puertas de seguridad. La […] tapa de la taza del vater se cae (al suelo) y huele fatal. El somier es una porquería. No tiene Kettle gratis como casi todos los hoteles. No te dan mapa. No limpiaron la habitación, supongo que se acercaron a las 9 de la mañana y como estabamos dentro no volvieron, dejaron una bolsa con toallas fuera. El gimnasio está en el sotano y es muy cutre. No hay una pequeña piscina spa sino una gran bañera jacuzzi, que no está mal pero que no te vas a poner a compartir con otros huespedes. En recepción se iban turnando dos hombres majos y una vieja muy antipática y desagradable. Lo bueno: No nos han cobrado aparte las tasas de la ciudad, al lado de las instituciones europeas (y a una media hora a pie de la Grand Place). La zona es de las mejores de Bruselas. Hay un "gimnasio" y "jacuzzi" En resumen, no vamos a decir que sea un antro pero es muy cutre y a veces por el mismo precio encontrais cosas muchos mejores, recomiendo el Thon. Read more

Personnel extrèmement agréable et accueillant, hotel à 5min à pieds du métro, proche des institutions européennes, dans un quartier plein de restos. Chambre grande et propre, petit-dèj non testé mais cher, accès à jaccuzi et hammam. Très sympathique week-end!!
