This was the second time we stayed at the Sonoma Creek Inn. We just love this place. It's a nice, quiet place at an affordable price. It's a short drive to downtown Sonoma and there is a fantastic breakfast spot next door (Creekside Cafe - We ate there everyday)! The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will likely stay here every time we visit wine […] country. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean hotel close to wineries"
The hotel was clean and comfy. It is not as close to the square as it states. But still centrally located. The hotel staff was friendly but not there all hours. A big plus was the excellent diner connected to the inn. Is was yummy. We liked it so much that we went back twice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"It was close to downtown and bicycle trails."
It was quiet and quaint with no luxury at all. If you are not going to stay in your room much it's fine. Close walking to restaurants. Great, very popular Mexican restaurant around the corner had fantastic food and service! Sorry can't remember name.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice rooms in old style motelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is an OLD "Motor Court". Rooms are very small. We had no closet or chest, therefore no place to place anything. It is clean and reasonably priced for the area, but not very comfortable for more than one night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Sonoma Creek Inn is located a little bit further from the Plaza than we had expected, but over all, a great find! Very comfortable and charming place- would definitely stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I loved this little hotel/inn. Very quiet and sort of hidden in a residential area. Rooms are very clean. Loved the outdoor patio and bathroom. The young lady at thr front desk was very sweet and helpful. Great location. Nearby town, shopping, and many wineries. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay. We will recommend and stay at the place again […] for sure. :)) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice little place"
Stayed just one night for a wedding nearby. Very cute, clean place. Plenty of room for two people. Comfy bed. Had a soap/lotion dispenser in the shower which is very savvy. Great shower pressure too! Friendly staff, decent location, and probably the best priced place in Sonoma for what you get.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small, quaint and clean"
This hotel is more like a motel (hence the name "Inn") as parking is basically right outside your room. It was an older establishment (early 1900's) that doesn't look like it has many rooms (more than 15 but less than 30) but we didn't walk around so that is only my observation. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable, and have been renovated […] nicely, staying truer to it's original motif than modern but it does have TV, Internet, phone, hair dryer, and a frig in the bathroom which was great! If you are looking for luxury, this is definitely not the hotel for you but if you are staying more than 1 nite and looking for value, the 25% off thru Expedia made it more than worth it as other establishments in Sonoma are quite pricey. Would recommend and would stay again, if I didn't have family in the immediate area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Everything was cute and very clean for our one night stay for a wedding in Sonoma valley. Our only complaint is that the walls seemed to be really thin. We could hear what sounded like cleaning or someone carrying down their luggage down.each.step at 6:15 am. Other than that, everything was great and staff were very friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
it was an ok stay. its good if you only use it to sleep. small rooms.Genuine Expedia guest review
If you show up late, it's a hassle to find and to get access to your room. The bed was uncomfortable and so we were in need of a chiropracter after the stay. The room was nice though and very clean. The dire on the corner was also good. If the bed had a new mattress I probably would have rated the place much higher.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok for one night"
Because of a last minute decision to overnight in Sonoma, the hotel was chosen more for the price and availability ,rather than convenience. We needed two rooms and all other hotels were full or overpriced for that week. We had plan to leave one of our cars in the parking lot to 'wine 'visit and was pleasantly surprised to be able to check into the […] rooms. That was nice as we could head to the wineries and later into Town Square for the Farmers Market and late dinner. A very important note to remember is that they do not have anyone manning the Office after 9pm - so would strongly suggest that you check your room. One of our rooms did not have soap or cups . Fortunately, we had the other room so we could have a 'glass' for water . The 'courtyard room' is small with Queen beds, decorated in the 60's style which was quaint, and it was clean and comfortable for one night. Having a refrigerator was a plus. However, the hotel is a far cry from what is shown on their website, and the 'garden' picture of outdoor chairs and a 'fountain' looks deceptively bigger than what it really is! Creekside Inn cafe is the closest neighborhood place if you require your morning cup of coffee, unless you just want the 'coffee' offered in the room. Overall, it was an all right place for one night stay. Perhaps if we had the option of getting the bigger patio rooms with King beds, the drive into Town Square might be an incentive to return. "Sunday - Tuesday Made It Very Nice"
As we pulled into the parking lot on a Sunday afternoon, we immediately saw that the motel's California mission architecture and design had been updated nicely. The interior was clean, comfortable and the bathroom re-done with excellent fixtures and quality tile work. all finish details showed quality workmanship. Not the Fairmont level of lighting […] and fixtures, but very attractive. That and the small, very private patio with fountain, impressed us. We did not experience any traffic or guest noise disturbances that others have reported because we avoided the weekend for the most part. The manager was very friendly and helpful with respect to suggesting dining, vineyards and other activities. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive. For an open minded, non-jaded visitor to Sonoma, this motel is an interesting and "off the beaten path" option. The Creekside Cafe is the attached breakfast / lunch spot which we would also recommend for very good food at very fair prices. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Our room was older than expected but very charming. We stayed courtyard side but the "courtyard" was a couple of patio pieces in a corner of the parking lot. Motel lobby smelled funny and I was afraid the room might but it was very clean and furnished in Sonoma style, which I liked. The staff was very helpful in picking out sites for touring and even […] had coupons for tasting. Overall I thought it a bit expensive for what we got but in wine country probably comparable to others. Would I stay there again? Maybe. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Vaue, Good Fun"
We have stayed at the Sonoma Creek Inn many times in the past several years ands although we have stayed elsewhere in Sonoma as well, we always come back. We love the ease of a motel and the retro charm o the old CA decoration of the rooms. A big plus is the Creekside diner next door to the Inn. Terrific breakfast and a local feel - closed on Mondays. […] The Inn is not in walking distance to downtown but has a great coffee (The Barking Dog) and a touted restaurant (Hot-Box Grill) nearby. We prefer to save a bit on our lodging and put that savings toward great food and wine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Off the beaten path. Very comfortable room. Nicely accommodating staff. When we come back to Sonoma or Napa, we will check here first.Genuine Expedia guest review
"The Most Friendly Staff"
The room was clean and that was the most important factor not the most fancy place to stay but it served our needs- because our friends were having a party at there house 1.8 miles away -very convenient I would stay there again the staff really went out of there way to accomodate our early check inGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"affordable, clean, comfortable"
This inn is a good alternative to high-priced, wine country hotels on the plazas. The inn is situated about 10 minutes away from Sonoma Square and easily accessible from the main highway leading to wineries in the area. There is a large parking lot and good restaurant on the street corner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Charming hotel in Sonoma"
Staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was comfy and centrally located. I'd definitely recommend this place to others.Genuine Expedia guest review
"In and Out"
My stay was fine. I was in and out in less than 12 hours for a quick business reception and dinner right down the street at the Fairmont, and it was just what I needed and wanted.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely, clean room at a great price!"
Clean, bright, inviting room, nicely decorated, with a comfy bed, good-sized bathroom (and great shower!). We had a Patio Room, and the small patio was surrounded by an adobe brick wall covered with vines, so we had privacy when the windows/blinds were open or when we sat outside. Conveniently located, only 10-minute drive from Sonoma Square. Very reasonable […] price for the quality, and the on-site cafe, Creekside Inn, is great, too. Only imperfection was that the clock radio didn't work (no big deal). Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"A hidden gem!"
We took a last minute trip to Sonoma on a Sun. Got a terrific "Advanced purchase" rate on a room on Sat., but was a little leery based on some of the reviews, but for one night it didn't matter. The place is a little of the beaten path (a couple of miles from the Plaza) but well worth it. The rooms have been completely remodeled, bright, clean, spacious, […] well-appointed and very cleverly decorated. The theme reflects a modern interpretation of the 1930-40's era with colorful posters & furnishings--new furniture but reflective of that era. We opted not to get a patio room, whose private patios face the road. The road did not seem that busy. Our room was very quiet, the bed was very comfortable. The office staff was friendly & efficient. The little garden area next to the office is a nice little morning or evening respite. There is a great little breakfast/lunch restaurant on site that was obviously very popular with the locals. We had already eaten so did not get to try it. The hotel is next to a creek & adjoining residential area. There wonderful broad path along side the creek to explore for an early morning or evening walk. If you want the pool/hot tub/spa experience, 24hr concierge experience stay at the Fairmont just up the road, but if you want beautiful simplicity, this is the place for you! "An anniversary getaway"
We loved the room, the overall experience was comfort. It's just a short walk to the Mission Inn where we were dining, so the location was perfect. After our dinner we walked back to our cute but spacious room! The next morning we had the most FABULOUS breakfast of grits and ham at their cafe. With all the great dining places in Sonoma, this one has […] got to be recognized! I would travel there again just to have that breakfast! We have put Sonoma Creek Inn on our list of places to re-visit. Friendly people, too! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"No tell motel"
Very minimal amenities No condiments for coffee 2 people in the room but only 1 cup to drink out of. No ice in the ice machine on Sunday morning. No houskeeping on staff to ask for more pillows ( pillows really flat )Genuine Expedia guest review
"Cozy, Clean and Quaint"
Nice place tucked away in neighborhood area. Very satisfied with price & room, several restaurants around and quick drive to square. Rooms very clean, area quiet, bed comfortable, each room with individualized decor. My 2nd time there and would definitely go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, good value Boutique Hotel in Sonoma town"
Nice quiet Boutique hotel set back at the outskirts of Sonoma town. We have stayed here a few times and this hotel is certainly good value for money. We will stay againGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great place to stay if visiting Sonoma on a budget"
The Inn was everything I wanted at a very attractive rate. The room was roomy enough and very comfortable. Staff was ready for us and friendly, but I booked thru hotels.com and wasn't aware they leave at 8pm. We arrived in time, but I would have paid more attention to our arrival time if I had known. Inn was quiet and cozy. The Creekside Cafe for breakfast […] was filling and tasty, but not gourmet. Inn is close to Sonoma Hwy with lots of good food choices. "Beautiful, affordable Sonoma visit"
Lovely, high quality motel in a quiet residential area of Sonoma--a few miles from the plaza. My family stayed at 3 of the "courtyard" rooms. They actually are closest to the parking lot. There is occasional noise from people talking when they exit their cars but none from the street or parking lot. These rooms are large and beautifully decorated in […] a country motif that are of the quality of a bed and breakfast. Unlike a B&B, there is no breakfast but the excellent Creekside Cafe adjacent to the inn makes fantastic french toast and granola and other yummy items. About the only unexpected noise were from the water pipes when a shower was being used in another room. The office is not open 24 hrs. For dog-lovers--they accept dogs--which we knew were around but did not hear. Note: we visited in March and the heater is an efficient but sometimes loud wall heater. The room has a ceiling fan in addition to the heater which has A/C capability for the summer. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Sonoma Creek Inn"
This hotel was not at all what it was built up to be. Surrounded by a sketchy neighborhood nowhere near downtown Sonoma. Stayed out as late as we could to spend as little time as possible there. Would never stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would definitely visit again!"
What a wonderful place to stay! Helpful and friendly staff (office staff as well as cleaning staff are all awesome). Cute orange tabby welcoming us when we got there (but don't let him in the room! Some folks may have allergies so he's not allowed in guest rooms--you can pet him though, he's really chill and loves to lounge in the sunlight). Clean (like, […] really clean) room with quaint (in the good way) decor, and a little private patio in the back. And the water pressure in the shower was almost as good as a massage! I will definitely recommend Sonoma Creek Inn to my friends--and should we return to Sonoma, we will be staying there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hidden gem in heart of wine valley"
We enjoyed the Inn; it was exactly as depicted in the internet. Quaint country atmosphere. Sonoma is truly a special little town and the people were friendly. Lots to do and see for travellers. Having a fridge and coffee maker made it easy in mornings - we enjoyed some quiet time on the room private patio.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"We will come back"
Nice hotel, nice people, good places to eat nearby, and for a great price. We had a small porch with a little fountain out back that was soothing after a long day of driving. You can't beat what you get for the price. And the breakfast place on the corner of the hotel was delicious. I forget the name but it is right next door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location for Wineries, Basic Amenities"
It was exactly what it says it is. Its a nice 2 star hotel. Very basic amenities (the fridge was nice though) small rooms, cozy bed. No bells and whistles. Its like a very nice motel 6. Would stay again as the price was right, and I was alone so no one to show off to.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice little get-away.."
Not a bad little get-away place. Stayed in the courtyard room and really enjoyed it. The front desk lady was very nice. Bed was comfortable. And free Wi-Fi is always nice..... Only complaints: 1) TV did not work. 2) Heater/AC has only two settings, OFF and HIGH.. Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hacienda style hotel near Glen Ellen"
The room was clean and cozy and I enjoyed the outdoor patio. It was reasonably priced compared to the hotels in the heart of Glen Ellen. Pet friendly and within walking distance to a great locals Mexican restaurant, Taqueria La Hacienda.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great base for exploring Sonoma"
The room was cozy and very well-equipped, with comfortable bed, an armchair, writing desk, TV in an armoire, ceiling fan, working heater, bright overhead lights, and many lamps which made reading easy (unlike so many dark motel rooms), coffee-maker, refrigerator, and a bathroom with plentiful space for storing toiletries. The Boyes St. location was […] leafy & quiet, near several restaurants, a great home base for exploring north of town, and only 10 min. from the Sonoma Plaza. I'd return in a heartbeat. "Good for a quick stay"
We were only there for Thanksgiving night and the hotel was certainly adequate. Our only complaint is we booked a balcony room, thinking it would be off the back of our room. It's really the landing at the top of the stairs leading into the room and it's shared with the room next to it. The patio rooms would be a better choice and most of them don't […] have rooms over them. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

This hotel was great! Free parking free wifi room comes with a fridge. The employees were helpful when I asked them about place saround to visit. The rooms were clean and it was close to many wineries (our favorite was Mayo). Overall we had a nice experience. Would go back again!Genuine Expedia guest review
A bit of an odd neighborhood for the hotel (residential), but really comfortable and clean. Wifi very weak in the rooms. You'd have to go into the parking lot close to the office to use it effectively. Great overall location and price for Sonoma, CA.Genuine Expedia guest review
