"Adorable and affordable in Sonoma"
We had a lovely stay in delightful inn..Loved the eclectic ambience. Room was sparkling clean. Staff was very friendly. the Creekside Cafe next door had waonderful breakfast. Would stay here again. Some complained about traffic but we didn't hear any unless you sat out in the patio and then only during peak hour.

"Good value!"
Clean room with comfortable bed. I was traveling by myself and arrived about 10:00 p.m. I was not aware I would have to call a number to get a code to open a box to get my room key. The office hours are very short for a hotel/motel. There are no vending machines on property. There is a nice café which serves breakfast and lunch on the property. This is a good option for a quick overnight stay or in my case, if you are not in the room except to sleep and get ready the next morning.

"Such a pleasant surprise"
We were only staying one night, but wished we were staying longer. It is a charming inn and the price is fantastic. The ad said no frills so were weren't sure what we would get. I guess compared to a fancy spa hotel there were no frills but we had all we wanted, and no chain hotel can beat the ambiance!!

"Price is right for this charming motel"
This is a great, clean motel that has been recently renovated and has a lot of charm. It's well located, with a restaurant on site, or a short walk to the Fairmont restaurant, where we had lunch before a short 15 min drive to Benzinger.

The hotel is one not to be missed if your in this area. This is not a plastic chain style hotel with the same boring interior. Sonoma Creek Hotel has a very comforting and cozy feel about it with a individual, eclectic and original decoration. reception staff were helpful and informative. The hotel is a little out from the towns historic centre where you will find plenty of places to eat, its just a short drive. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed on a Monday. Very impressed with the hotel.

"if you like funky comfortable hotels . . ."
then consider Sonoma Creek Inn. At first blush it appears to be a very rundown hotel but the rooms are updated, comfortable and attractive. Attached restaurant, Creekside Inn, is open for breakfast and lunch and the food is both good and inexpensive. If you like off beat funky hotels, this is a good bet.

"Incredibly Clean"
This is the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. It's great if you're looking to avoid the overly pricey wine country hotels without going the Motel 6 route. I found it romantic and cozy, in a French country style. The bathroom had a heat lamp, and the patio had a little fountain. All in all, it was perfect for our little getaway.

"Value for the price, clean neat just what you need"
Definitely on a pricey area, one of the best values. Very simple rustic property with neat rooms. Good we hit the road early because curtains did not cover much from sun clarity. Clean detailed room with "antique rustic" style and furniture. Accessible minutes away from main vineyards road into a normal neighborhood area. Minutes away from great places to eat. Dont miss the Big Bear Dinner for breakfast! Its a slam!! Loved it too! 5 mins away from hotel.

Perfect for what we needed. We were just there for one night as part of a little Wine Country excursion. The place was cute, clean, quiet, and comfy for that purpose. And the Creekside Cafe right next door was the perfect home-town place to have breakfast. We will stay here again!

"Small, quaint and clean"
This hotel is more like a motel (hence the name "Inn") as parking is basically right outside your room. It was an older establishment (early 1900's) that doesn't look like it has many rooms (more than 15 but less than 30) but we didn't walk around so that is only my observation. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable, and have been renovated nicely, staying truer to it's original motif than modern but it does have TV, Internet, phone, hair dryer, and a frig in the bathroom which was great! If you are looking for luxury, this is definitely not the hotel for you but if you are staying more than 1 nite and looking for value, the 25% off thru Expedia made it more than worth it as other establishments in Sonoma are quite pricey. Would recommend and would stay again, if I didn't have family in the immediate area.

Everything was cute and very clean for our one night stay for a wedding in Sonoma valley. Our only complaint is that the walls seemed to be really thin. If you show up late, it's a hassle to find and to get access to your room. The bed was uncomfortable and so we were in need of a chiropracter after the stay. The room was nice though and very clean. The dire on the corner was also good. If the bed had a new mattress I probably would have rated the place much higher.

"Ok for one night"
Because of a last minute decision to overnight in Sonoma, the hotel was chosen more for the price and availability ,rather than convenience. We needed two rooms and all other hotels were full or overpriced for that week. We had plan to leave one of our cars in the parking lot to 'wine 'visit and was pleasantly surprised to be able to check into the rooms. That was nice as we could head to the wineries and later into Town Square for the Farmers Market and late dinner. A very important note to remember is that they do not have anyone manning the Office after 9pm - so would strongly suggest that you check your room. One of our rooms did not have soap or cups . Fortunately, we had the other room so we could have a 'glass' for water . The 'courtyard room' is small with Queen beds, decorated in the 60's style which was quaint, and it was clean and comfortable for one night. Having a refrigerator was a plus. However, the hotel is a far cry from what is shown on their website, and the 'garden' picture of outdoor chairs and a 'fountain' looks deceptively bigger than what it really is! Creekside Inn cafe is the closest neighborhood place if you require your morning cup of coffee, unless you just want the 'coffee' offered in the room. Overall, it was an all right place for one night stay. Perhaps if we had the option of getting the bigger patio rooms with King beds, the drive into Town Square might be an incentive to return.

"Sunday - Tuesday Made It Very Nice"
As we pulled into the parking lot on a Sunday afternoon, we immediately saw that the motel's California mission architecture and design had been updated nicely. The interior was clean, comfortable and the bathroom re-done with excellent fixtures and quality tile work. all finish details showed quality workmanship. Not the Fairmont level of lighting and fixtures, but very attractive. That and the small, very private patio with fountain, impressed us. We did not experience any traffic or guest noise disturbances that others have reported because we avoided the weekend for the most part. The manager was very friendly and helpful with respect to suggesting dining, vineyards and other activities. Staff was friendly and unobtrusive. For an open minded, non-jaded visitor to Sonoma, this motel is an interesting and "off the beaten path" option. The Creekside Cafe is the attached breakfast / lunch spot which we would also recommend for very good food at very fair prices.

Our room was older than expected but very charming. We stayed courtyard side but the "courtyard" was a couple of patio pieces in a corner of the parking lot. Motel lobby smelled funny and I was afraid the room might but it was very clean and furnished in Sonoma style, which I liked. The staff was very helpful in picking out sites for touring and even had coupons for tasting. Overall I thought it a bit expensive for what we got but in wine country probably comparable to others. Would I stay there again? Maybe.

"Good Vaue, Good Fun"
We have stayed at the Sonoma Creek Inn many times in the past several years ands although we have stayed elsewhere in Sonoma as well, we always come back. We love the ease of a motel and the retro charm o the old CA decoration of the rooms. A big plus is the Creekside diner next door to the Inn. Terrific breakfast and a local feel - closed on Mondays. The Inn is not in walking distance to downtown but has a great coffee (The Barking Dog) and a touted restaurant (Hot-Box Grill) nearby. We prefer to save a bit on our lodging and put that savings toward great food and wine.
