Location.
Situated in Harvie Heights, Banff Boundary Lodge is in the mountains and close to Canmore Golf and Curling Club, Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park, and Canmore Museum and Geoscience Centre. Additional regional attractions include Upper Hot Springs and Mount Norquay Ski Resort.

"Good place to make your base for a few days..."
I only stayed here one night, but this would be a great place to bring a family, and stay for several days. The 2-bedroom condo was clean and comfortable, loved the gas fireplace, comfortable bed, and the kitchen was handy. "Banff Boundary Lodge"
With the prices of lodging inside the park, this was a welcome relief. The room was awesome. Gas fireplace was easy to use. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything clean with wonderful views of the mountains. I plan to go back and will definitely stay there again! Great place at a great price.
"convenient location to Banff"
My wife and I stayed at this hotel. The hotel upgraded our room to a two-bedroom suite. The place was well organized and clean. It was about ten minutes driving to Banff. It was great location and quite place for explore Banff area.
"Simple accommodations."
Personnel at check in were neither friendly or unfriendly. Very plain and spartan. Relatively clean. Only stayed one night luckily. Not overly enthused with this hotel/condo.

"We would stay again"
The location can not be any better if you are going into Banff National Park. It is just minutes away. It is right off of Highway 1- which is convenient, but the drawback is it is noisy. There are lots of tractor trailers along that Highway. There is no air conditioning so if the windows are open it could disturb a light sleeper. The condo was clean, […] but not by any means a luxury condo. The living area had a gas fireplace, full size fridge, stove, microwave. There is a half bath downstairs. It has kitchen utensils, plates, silverware etc. Both the bedrooms were upstairs along with the full bath. I think a small investment in new curtains would make a difference. "Banff Boundary lodge is very inviting"
The hotel unit is in a townhouse style with living room and dining/ kitchen and bathroom on first level and bedroom/s and full bath upstairs. It is a very clean and newly painted. We really enjoyed our stay at this lodge as it has everything we needed. "Great condo!"
This was a wonderful condo. The fully furnished kitchenette helped save us from having to eat out. It's outside of Banff but still very convenient to all the attractions.

The hotel is right off H-way 1 and convenient to Canmore and Banff. The room was excellent with great amenities like microwave, fridge and coffee pot and dishes, silver ware and cups/plates/glasses. "Banff Boundary Lodge"
Compared to expensive motels in Banff downtown, this lodge, 10 min drive away from Banff downtown, is better for its price. The lodge has everything you need to cook. Just remind that they don't provide cleaning service. That's why it is less expensive. Hot tub was small but ok.

very badly kept
Hotel was nice. Hot tub clean. Carpets filthy. Room nice (other than carpet). Gas Fire place nice, but it has a timer with an annoyingly load clicking sound on all the time you have fireplace on. all in all I would recommend, the carpet will likely get cleaned. Replacing the timers with silent ones strongly recommended. the scenery around is "stupid […] beautiful", as my son put it. Read more
"Comfy, Quiet, and Close (to Banff)"
The true suite that I had provided a full kitchen, sofa and easy chair, large closet, and two spacious, separate bedrooms. The gas-log fireplace also generated cosy heat. "Banff Boundary Lodge - beautiful scenery"
The location of this lodge is about 10 min. from the entrance to Banff National Park, 5 min. from Canmore and about 1 hr from Lake Louise. We found it to be a good location, away from the resort towns of Banff and Lake Louise, but not too far away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a one-bedroom suite. There was plenty of room for […] the two of us, the bed was king-sized and comfortable, and it had a full kitchen, although the kitchen was very minimally equipped. The only thing I would have changed is that the sofa and chair in the living room area were not that comfortable. After you've been hiking (or skiing in the winter) all day, you want to lounge, and the furniture was not amenable to lounging. "Great hotel for the money!"
We spent two nights at the hotel and were amazed at the accommodations. Two large bedrooms and a large kitchen/dining room. We will definitely recommend this to our friends and family.
"Pet friendly value"
Roomy 2-story family lodging was clean and well-maintained. Outdoor propane BBQ was convenient and easy to use; that plus an equipped kitchen helped save some money. Only complaint was pullout couch downstairs--it wasn't very comfortable. This would be a non-issue if only 2 bedrooms are needed.

this was way more than i expected, we had 2 full bedrooms plus a kitchen and living room with fireplace. It was so nice. The fireplace is on a 30 min timer and didn't work after the first 30 mins which was disapointing.

Loved it! We got the unit with two bedrooms and a pull out couch and fireplace in the living room. Close to Banff but cheaper than staying in Banff. All the kitchen stuff were there, even salt and pepper (realized this after buying it at Safeway of course). 2 barbecue units outside, a small (very small) hot tub outside and laundry machines in the office […] building. "Nice room, good price"
We stayed one night as it was a stop along the way on our road trip. We thought it was a really nice hotel and a very good price (likely due to it being in the off season). The room was very spacious with a separate bedroom, living room and fully equipped kitchen so we were able to make ourselves a snack and breakfast in the morning.
This hotel was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay immensely (It was a ladies time-out deal for a friend). The staff was kind and courteous. This was the first time we stayed here and we were very happy with the accommodations. Very nice main floor sitting area with fireplace. For family of five we could have used one more comfortable chair to sit in. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Upstairs, bedrooms were spacious and clean. My partner and I had a lovely time staying at this lodge only 5 minutes away from canmore. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, convienient kitchen to cook own meals, bbq, and hot tub!
