Hampton Inn Salt Lake City - Murray - Salt Lake City

I was really excited about this trip since it was a one year anniversary. This hotel is behind another hotel so we had to first get to right hotel. It looked so nice in the lobby and when we got to our room it was okay the wall paper was peeling off the walls and the bed was has hard as a rock. The pillows were way to soft like u were laying on ur arm […] half way though the night. We did take advantage of the swimming pool and hot tub which both were kinda dirty.... the hot tub wasnt even hot and pool was like ice. When i went to take a shower to get rid of the chlorine my water was cold from the beggining. Before we left we had breakfast and it was a waste the food was gross dont even eat it. The cofee was great. After being home for THREE days I got charged 50 dollars for a holder fee..which was never metioned to me and it caused me to overdraft when I called the hotel I spoke to a lady who was rude about the whole situation and gave me a mater of fact attitude. It would of been great to have known about the fee so i wouldnt of OVERDRAFTED my account. Basicly we should of went somewhere cheaper and had nicer and just ate out instead of having their breakfast. Wount ever think about this place again. Ps. Dont come here for honeymoon or romantic get away the walls are paper thin! Read more

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, comfortable environment and staff made you feel very welcome. The rooms were nice, the beds comfortable, and the room was overall cozy. Felt like the stay was not in a hotel rather at a friends home.

I left a brand new jacket hanging in the closet. I did not discover it missing until I went to wear it 5 days later. I immediatly called the hotel and found out it was in the lost and found with my room # on it, and would be mailed to me at my expense. I was furious that I was not contacted when the jacket was found. You had my #. I was in Salt Lake […] that whole day and could have picked it up if I would have had a call from your hotel. When I received the jacket it had been wadded up in a ball and thrown in a plastic garbage bag. How hard would it have been to at least have folded it nicely? That is the worst customer service I have ever had. I probably will never stay at another Hampton again. Read more

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms and large and the beds are amazing. The breakfast that is served is excellent. Lots of choices and everything is fresh. Constant coffee and cookies in the lobby is a plus. I will be staying here again.

very close to on/off ramps on I-15, staff was extremely courteous and helpful, room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay there again in the future....

A very nice breakfast and pleasant surroundings. Hotel could use some updating but was clean and pleasant. Hot tub not hot enough for us. We were there for a family girls retreat and just looked forward to having a great time together so the hotel was wonderful for that.

An nice hotel with very nice people working there..I ended up in room 204 which is right behind the big sign out front.. You could not see much of the outside world because of the sign three feet out your window...Come on Hampton Inn turn that into a storage or laundry room. I felt claustrophobic the entire time I was in that room

Very comfortable room. Breakfast was hot and the coffee was good. The spa was broken while we were there so that was the only bummer. The internet connection worked great. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were all too soft.

I stayed for three weekdays. The only problems I experienced were that on one of the days the water temperature in the shower kept changing. I stayed at the Hampton Inn last weekend. The service is by far THE best that I have received in a very long time. April greeted me with the warmest welcome and quickly checked me in while telling me all about the amenities (free breakfast, internet access, and pool). She gave me her name and told me to call her if I needed anything. Such great service. […] I work in Customer Service and April could easily teach a class in delivering stellar customer service. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. There were two little issues worth mentioning. The drawer on the nightstand would not close properly! I could see there was some material under one of the front legs I am assuming in an effort to level the table. It did not work. The drawer kept opening and I was afraid I might injure my leg when sitting on the bed. Management should really fix it properly. The other issue was the chair at the desk was wedged under the table and really difficult to pull out. My son needed to physically lift the table and pull the chair out all while trying not to knock over the lamp. Management should really replace the chairs with ones that easily fit under the desk. Hotel was in great condition, very quiet and staff was polite and helpful. We swam in the pool with our kids and it was great. Convenient just off the freeway and 10 mins from downtown.
