Hotel staff very friendly. nice lobby, good breakfast with fresh fruits and no plastic dishes. After complaining about the size of suite we were sold for 5 persons (definitely too small and not a fair sale) we were given complimentary upgrade to a two bed room suite by the manager which was very much appreciated. Free parking and free wireless internet are very convenient as well as close access to highway and airport.

"The Garden Hotel in Fort Lauderdale."
Had with me a party of 9 that included my 3 young grandchildren ages 2,3,& 7. Nice location easy for fast foods late at night. The hotel was very accomadating both before we left on our cruise and then after we returned just to hold our luggage before our flight out of Florida. Thank You.

We spent two nights in this hotel...the first before our Cruise, and the 2nd was the night before we returned home to CA. The first night we were put in a handicapped room (not sure why that happened) its king size bed was visibly sunken in the middle and felt awful. The pillows were mushy and wouldn’t begin to support your head. The air conditioning […] was broken and the room felt like a sauna all night long. We were very disappointed, especially after paying so much for the night. The 2nd night we asked for a different room....which was COOL, clean and very comfortable. Stayed at this hotel before going out on a cruise and it was perfect price and location. A tip for those of you going to the cruise terminal. They do have free shuttles from the hotel to the terminals but there is a waiting list and lines. Since there was just 2 of us we took a cab. It was a total of $16 fare. "Highly recommend!!"
My husband and I spent the night here before our cruise. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Easy check-in, airport/cruiseport shuttle service, walking distance to many stores/resterants and local shuttle service were just some of the things that made this a great place to stay before a cruise. We will definitely be coming back.

"Pre cruise hotel stay"
The room was very clean and a nice size. There were fast food restaurants within walking distance and a free shuttle to other eating establishments as well. There was a shuttle service for 8 dollars a person to Port Everglades which was a full size bus instead of a van. We were happy with our stay and will return next year.

Very nice and comfortable room with nice quality linens and pillows. Only thing negative was furniture inl lobby had very unattractive/sloppyslipcovers over couches that were dirty and the furniture looked worn in lobby.

"Convenient Hotel"
I chose this hotel for the free shuttle to the airport which was reliable and worked well for us. When we got there (New Years Eve) we quickly saw that the party in the hotel conference room was loud and wouldn't stop until after 1 a.m. (and we had an early flight). "Close to airport and port, great staff"
The staff was so kind and helpful. I was having issues with my reservations and the staff was really nice and helpful in getting them figured out with hotels.com. They had a very nice breakfast. The rooms were nothing out of this world spectacular but they were perfect for the price and a one night stay.

"Hilto Garden Inn"
Staff at the Hotel couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and WIFI worked well. Breakfast was good and the shuttle was available for short trips. They made a GREAT restaurant recommendation, "Rustic Inn Crabhouse." The shuttle took us there. YES we would stay again and recommend to others.

Stayed here one night after cruise. After clearing customes, dialed 877-438-2645, spoke with Ace Tours, requested transportation from port terminal 18 to hotel. Pickup was almost immediate. Cost $10/person. The next morning the hotel provided free transportation to airport. Nice room was available at 1000 upon checkin. Hotel restaurant was fine for […] dinner. "Lost luggage"
We made arrangements at the hotel lobby for a ride to the port. The driver dropped people off at two other ships. When we were dropped off we were missing a suitcase. The driver insisted we left the suitcase at the hotel. We and two other passangers told him we saw him load the luggage into the trailer, so he blamed the porters. He took us back to the […] other cruise ships to look for the luggage, He would not take responsibilithy for the luggage. At first, I was upset because I had understood from Hotels.com that the hotel would pick me up after my cruise, which service I learned later is not offered by the hotel. As a result, I lost half an hour on the phone (and long-distance charges applied) without being able to reach someone, so I took a cab. The hotel was in a very commercial area, some facilities out of order and/or not working. The room had a smell that was stale, tinge of a smoker, but was a non-smoking room. The carpeting felt dirty and bed was uncomfortable.

"Perfectly fine"
I had a fabulous stay at the Hilton Gardens in Palm Beach Gardens, and was excited to try another Hilton Gardens. This one is nice, but nowhere near as handsome, with staff not as fabulously friendly. So I was slightly disappointed. That said, it was a perfectly fine, clean, quiet overnight experience.

I only stayed for a single night before taking a cruise out of Miami. Awesome staff and comfortable accommodations. I would definitely stay there again if given the opportunity.
"Hilton Garden Inn- was the perfect layover"
I chose this hotel because of the reviews given by other travelers. I rented a car at the Fort Lauderdale Airport because I wanted to drive to Miami, but even if I had not, this hotel provided transportation to and from the airport at no charge! To my surprise they also offered to take you ( free of charge ) to any of the restaurants in the area and […] with one call they would pick you up. I returned there after taking a cruise and stayed another night. There was a newspaper at the door the next morning and I was told that if my bill was settled I could just leave my room key in the room. I loved the service, and the area had everything that I needed to make my stay enjoyable. If you stay there ask for Rob, customer service excellence. "Close to Airport"
The Hilton Garden Inn is located within 2 miles of the Fort Lauderdale Airport. The immediate area has a number of restaurants and shopping. We found the location very convenient for our 6:30am flight home. The hotel itself was fine for the overnight stay.
