Clean and Small by was good for a family with a bugjet and wants to spend there money in other places other than where you sleep at night. Great location walking distance to Disneyland and downtown Disney. Also we found a wonderful place to eat that had homemade everything down to the ice cream. Tiffy's is the place for good food and it is located right next to Eden Roc. Also the breakfast that Eden Roc provides is no more that a pre-rapped danish and coffee, tea or hot chocolate. NO juice or milk. Also the towels are truly small and scrachy.

The hotel is in a wonderful location, but the pictures represent only a few rooms at the hotel. Our family had 3 seperate rooms, the 2bed/3bed rooms were very old. Baseboards were scraped up bad, furniture appears to be major hotel hand me downs. Bathrooms had major mold, peeling paint, tubs with enamel finish coming off, and tubs that wouldn't drain very well. Towels are skimpy. Fridge's don't keep very well. If you need just a place to sleep, ok. But, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with family considering the mold problem. There are a few other options a few miles away for nearly the same price that are very clean. For front desk staff, Robert is very polite and helpful, the others there were rude and not very helpful at all. The lady that works late doing laundry was nice, not sure if she's the same person that cleans the rooms. If you can get into the 300's, those look like newer or recently renovated rooms. Pool looked clean and from what I understand it's heated which is nice. All in all, we didn't hate it but we probably wouldn't stay there again considering the mold and poor service from other employees.

The room was always clean, it had a nice TV and such, and even Free WiFi. We left some things in the room and they were happy to ship them to us for free after we checked out, that was really nice of them. The breakfast was good, but they closed it down way to early forcing us to get up before we wanted to to enjoy it.

When we got to the hotel, we were super exhausted from a long drive. The hotel front desk staff were courteous and precise. When we got to our room, though, they'd gotten the room wrong - we'd reserved a king bed and instead had 2 queen beds. We didnt' want to make a stink about it, but since we'd paid extra for the larger bed, we addressed it with the front desk staff. We were so impressed because they immediately admitted their mistake and gave us a much bigger room with a king bed, and we were very comfortable with our stay. This hotel is very close to Disneyland and we were able to walk there in no time at all, and eat at nearby restaurants. We knew we didn't want to swim when we were there, and it's a good thing we didn't (the pool is kinda small) but other than that, the room was great (Great water pressure!).

If all you need is a cheap (in every sense of the word) place to crash over night, shower and change clothes, then this place will do. It is NOT a fancy or homey place at all. It looks & feels like a place that "working girls" that you see in film & TV would rent by the hour. Its cheap & dumpy. Period. BUT, as I said, if you're not staying long, it's the right price. The room was disgusting and from the 50's,the carpets were filthy, the bathroom had black mold and the shower was so nasty that we needed to wear shoes to take a shower. We froze at night because the wall unit a/c-Heater was so old that it only blew cold air. You can't open the windows because they are too old and don't roll unless you had to force it to get it open and there is only like 10 tv channels and no internet despite their advertisement. The room was much larger than expected (our room was like the size of a very small apt) the location was great office can give walking directions that will get you to downtown disney in less than 10 mins. If you need that badly to save the extra money and won't be in the room much the location at least is pretty good just be prepared that you are getting what you paid for here. I travel a lot for work, and am used to staying at less than perfect hotels, but Eden Roc is by far the worse hotel/motel I have ever stayed at. I have stayed at other cheapy hotel branches like Motel 6 and Super 8 that were a lot nicer then Eden Roc. When you first check in, the lobby are is rediculously small and there was only one person working the front desk. There were 2 other people in line ahead of me, resulting in me standing in line outside the front door (that's how small the lobby area is.) The person at the front desk was very friendly and got me checked in fairly fast, but everything went down hill from there. Ther rooms themselves are very small and extrememly old and outdated. Eden Roc is listed as a 2 star hotel, but I have stayed at 1 star hotels that were much nicer and better kept. The walls are so thin I constantly heard the tv from the room nextdoor and the footsteps from the person above. The beds were very hard, and all the linens in the room seemed as though they were bought when the hotel first openned and were never updated. The rooms themselves were very outdated and worn, and although it seemed like housekeeping did their best to keep things clean and tidy, the room just had a horrible aged feeling to it. The bathroom had cracks all over the sinks and tub, and the towels were very cheaply made and scratched your skin if you use them. The hotel provided you with one bar of less then desireable soap and one small bottle of shampoo, and they did not replenish it until you called the front desk to ask for additional supply. For the price I paid for this hotel (and it was a very inexpensive price) it was not worth it. The location is ok, since it was walking distance to the convention center and there were a few restaraunts near by. Over all, you can get a much better value and deal at the other local hotels/motels. The other places might be a buck or two more expensive per night, but I am sure anything is better then Eden Roc.

We had a room with a king and 2 queen beds for 4 adults for 3 nights. It was very inexpensive, so I wasn't expecting luxury. To our surprise, the room was actually 2 rooms with 2 full bathrooms, 2 TVs, a fridge and a microwave. The space and privacy were wonderful. The room was clean and comfortable. It was old, especially the bathrooms, but everything needed was there and it all worked. We went to disneyland from 8 am to about midnight each night, so we didn't need much in the way of hotel amenities (spa, exercise room etc). There are two restaurants within a hundred yards and it is an easy walk to the entrance to Downtown Disney where you can catch the monorail into the park if you already have your tickets. If not, you can walk from there to the ticket booth or buy a ticket from a neighboring hotel like we did (the Jolly Roger on Katella). Our room faced california Adventure and we could see the coaster and ferris wheel lit up. We also had a great view of the fireworks from the room. The negatives: ours seemed to be the only room without curtains (we had blinds) and the outside light shined in until we went outside the next day and unscrewed the bulb. also, the towels are very small and very rough. I rather liked them but one of our adults whined. there were 2 very large closets but no hangers. The lights and towels are why I gave it a 4 for comfort. I would definitely stay again and have already recommended it to co-workers who are planning a trip. Additionally, hotels.com made the check in/out incredibly easy.
