The room was clean, and provided all the amenities. You had pots, pans, utensils, everything just like home. I was located in tower three, and these were the few things I did not like. They did not make the beds up daily that was an extra fee, its a time share and they harrass you to buy one. All in all great view of the pool from the room as well, as the beach, kids enjoyed everything about the resort from the pools, to the game room. Great place to stay for family vacation. would recommend skipping the offer for $100 for listening to the presentation. We were stalked for 2 days. I finally had to just hang up on them. I did not care to much for the overzealous check in lady who kept trying to get us to attend their "welcome breakfast or lunch" and said it was only an hour of our time. It was not our first time at a resort, we know it was a timeshare presentation even though she insisted it was not. She said it was to familiarize us with the resort and its amenities […] but I already did that research before booking with them as would any normal person. She said we would get 4 roundtrip airline tickets for attending and I'm sorry but you never get something for nothing. We paid full price for our stay to avoid the timeshare schpeel. When we didn't make it to breakfast she left a voicemail saying we needed to attend the next morning breakfast and again reiterating it was only an hour of our time. We were there for a short 4 day extended weekend, we did not want to waste "just an hour" of our time. Now for the resort itself, the room was great, had everything you would need. Our only complaint was the bed, VERY uncomfortable, hard and squeaky. Resort is right on beach which was also great. Parking on the the other hand was a pain. All the parking was full in the tower we were staying in so we had to park across street in another tower garage but could only find a place up 3 floors and mind you we were there in off peak season so I can only imagine how horrible it will be in summer. LOVED Myrtle Beach, plan to come back in July, but will NOT be staying at Wyndham Ocean Blvd. Read more

We enjoyed our stay. However, we were going to use the indoor pool and it was really dirty. All of the pools could use a cleaning. My husband enjoyed the hot tub and lazy river. We arrived late and the office staff was very helpful. The location is great. Close to restaurants and activities. The room was very comfortable and roomy.

This was our third stay. The first two were very good, this one was not great. Our unit was dirty. We found leftover food on the kitchen floor. The dining room table was sticky. I never did get a totally hot shower. We had maintenance at our unit twice in the three full days we were there, but got no dependable hot water. The Staff and actual hotel were nice, however, the parking was aweful, we were told there were not enough parking spots for everyone staying!! After driving for 25 minutes trying to find a parking spot in the garage for our building we were told by security good luck, we should just drive acrossed the street and look there! The next issue is the elevators! […] after finally finding a parking spot (after more than 35 minutes) we waiting another 15 minutes for the elevator, this was at 10:00pm on a thursday night!!! When we booked, we were lead to believe it was oceanfront. It was not. It was across the street with tall buildings in front of us and only a slim view of the ocean. We found this very disappointing. The description of the room told us it was oceanfront not oceanview. Also, I did not care to be bothered with the resort's sales pitch. Someone came to […] our room and spent 10 - 15 minutes trying to convince us to buy a timeshare there. I knew they sold time shares based on the literature in the room. If I wanted to buy one, I would have contacted them. When we checked in, they asked us to fill out private information about ourselves such as our age and income. This was none of their business. Liked the hotel and everything about it except we were not told about wanting to take up our time to get us to buy into or whatever it was...we were not interested. We are seniors and have been around a long time and exposed to sales pitches in many areas over a number of years. We normally do not get drawn into this....it only took one time.

Do not stay at this property unless u r one of their timeshare owners!! The property is great, the customer service is fabulous. However if u are a first time visitor, they will pressure you to buy into their timeshare program. We had one full day to spend at the beach ON St. Patrick's Day weekend, we made this known to the staff & they still waisted […] two hours of our day! We tried to be polite, telling them several times we had friends waiting for us & a tee time we couldnt miss. However, the salesperson just kept going on & on so we finally had to just get up & leave. If we were made aware upon booking our stay that we would be subjected to sitting through their sales pitch, we never would have chosen this hotel. We were looking forward to a short weekend away with friends & did not anticipate spending our one full day in an office with a pushy salesperson. I was very pleased with the Wyndham Ocean Boulevard. I wasn't expecting too much, as most hotels in Myrtle Beach leave much to be desired and I tend to be picky with hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival! First, the staff went above and beyond to be courteous and helpful. They probably do this because you can purchase time shares at this […] resort, but regardless, it was nice to experience their very high level of customer service! The rooms are recently renovated and very beautiful and comfortable. All amenities are taken care of from popcorn and hot chocolate to dishes, soaps, toiletries - they have it taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and it seemed that most if not all in our tower had ocean views. The only area for improvement would be parking, but I'm not sure that can be helped much given how many rooms there are in this resort. We found spots under our tower all but once, and the overflow lot was close enough to walk to conveniently. Overall, I very much enjoyed this resort. The hotel and my stay were great! The only issue was my door lock. I got up the first morning and I could tell someone had tried to open our door but we had the security latch on. I didn't complain because nothing was missing. The second night security knocked on the door to see if we were ok because our door was open. We had no idea. The staff did hit us up on the Time Share concept, but did not overly pressure us at all - one more conversation would have gotten on our nerves. Our stay started off on a bad foot from the get-go! We arrived an hour after check-in time and were told our room wasn't ready. The staff said we would be called when it was available. They gave us no parking passes, just wrist bracelets. We had to go out on the beach with a 15 month old for ONE HOUR and never received a call. Finally I went back in […] to check on the status of the room and was told that everything for our room was ready a half hour previously. Nothing was done after I complained. When making this reservation I specifically asked for beds not to be made so I could inspect for bed bugs. When we got to the room, the beds were made. Also, the dresser drawers had not been cleaned because I found a bobby-pin and they were somewhat dirty. The kitchen counter was sticky. The floor had looked only like it had been vacuumed because there were several spots noticed. When we checked the pull-out couch on our bed bug inspection, there were crumbs in it. Luckily there were no signs of bed bugs. Three days after arriving, we were given 4 gift cards for restaurants ($100 total) and were asked to tour the building for a time share opportunity. We were informed that the gift cards will be charged to our room if we did not show up, so we declined and returned the gift cards the next day prior to the time of the appointment. We were assured our room would not be billed. Two days later we received a phone call asking why we did not show up for the tour and that the gift cards would be charged to us, so my husband had to get that settled. It felt like complete harrassment for not taking the time share tour. Midweek I had called housekeeping requesting bed linens and towels be changed out. I called twice and the call went to an answering machine, so I left a message on the second try. WE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK!!!
