Every interaction, from the intitial, frantic call in which David was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I just knew he was going to make sure me and my 11 year old son had a wonderful stay. Payed $200.00 a night for room then had to pay $44.00a day to park at the hotel. Checked in on Sunday and ate in the hotel restaurant when we check out on Tuesday we had to wait 45 minutes for them to find the restaurant bill so that we could pay.

This hotel is one block east of Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile) and is still in a really quiet area. Close to great food, shopping and drinking establishments. I would highly recommend this hotel. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. They recommended some amazing places to eat.

Not knowing Chicago at all I was taking a leap of faith when I booked this hotel. I had a meeting at the McCormick Place convention center which was 15 minutes away. This hotel has a Starbucks off the lobby, across the street a dunkin donuts, 7-11, great restaurants all with in a block of the hotel including the capital Grill diagonally across the street […] and for casual a Fridays one block away. Michigan ave is a block away with all the high end stores. The Lobby is appointed in black marble very high end when you walk in. The rooms have flat panel TVs, internet and very clean and modern. We loved this hotel and it's location. It was one block from Michigan Ave, about 4 blocks from the John Hancock building and close to the Museum Campus. The staff was great, the hotel was clean and convenient. Self-parking was next door, and a Starbucks in lobby.

Everything was well, and the staff was unbelievable, especially Alex in the concierge. The Blue Man Group coupon was a letdown. When i called the tickemaster booth, i ended up talking to person in charge and they would not let us redeem the coupon due to the fact they sold more tickets than they thought they would have by then. This was a good value for our one-night stay. The location is excellent, and the staff and service were very accommodating. Comfortable beds and pillows. We had no fridge in our room, so you might want to ask first if you need one.

Perfect location right off of N. Michigan Ave., close to many dining & shopping options as well as tourist attractions. Subway very close. If you take the Blue Line train from O' Hare to Clark & Lake, a cab to the hotel will only cost $10; i.e. this means a single traveler can make it to the hotel with $13 ($16 for two travelers). There is a small Starbucks accessible from inside the lobby, particularly useful in winter when you'd like a light breakfast in the morning without necessarily getting fully ready/bundling up. We stayed here on New Year's Eve so we could walk to Navy Pier and watch the fireworks. The hotel is located on Ontario so heading west on foot from the building will land you right on the lake in about 20 minutes. What a wonderful surprise! We have stayed at many hotels in Chicago over the years. The Courtyard stood up to them all. The room was fresh and clean - they even had it ready for an early check-in. The location is magnificent: one short block to Michigan Avenue and all the major retail shops. Every time we returned to the hotel we were greeted by someone […] at the front desk with a cheery, "Welcome back!" Parking is adjacent to the hotel - you don't even have to go outside to get to the lobby from your car - and it was at least $10 cheaper (although not "cheap") than every other parking facility we saw. The bed was comfortable, the room temperature perfect (and NO sound from the heater/AC unit) and there was very little noise - even though our room was next to the elevator on New Year's Eve! I took my 2 granddaughters to the American Girl Store. The hotel was close and had a pool for the girls to swim. The pool was too cold to stay in very long. The girls did great walking and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I would definitely stay again.

The only reason I didn't give a "5" for this hotel was because the pool was barely heated. We have started a traditon of taking our two grand daughters to Chicago at the Christmas season and they always look forward to "pool time" before bed -- while the coolness of the water didn't hold them back from having a great time, it was way too cool for us […] to join them in the pool. I'd say it was even "bath water warm".... We stayed here last winter as well and I remember it being the same. So, while it's a complaint of mine, it didn't stop us from staying there again. Friendly helpful staff. We showed up with an extra unexpected family member and were given a bigger room on the spot, no problem. We have stayed here at Christmas time on four previous occasions and we like it because it's five or 6 blocks from the Watertower shopping mall on Michigan Ave. and is just a block off Michigan Ave. There is a Corner Bakery […] 2 blocks away where we always go for breakfast. We traveled here on a girl's shopping trip and wanted to be close to the Magnificent Mile (for convenience and safety). I spent so many hours looking through reviews, photos, etc. of so many hotels trying to find the best one for a decent price. I'm so happy we chose this hotel. So nice and so helpful (from check-in, to general questions, to area information, to restaurant recommendations). I had read that the parking was expensive, and yes, the public garage next door was $41/day, but it was so convenient. When we got there, we parked, rode the elevator down to the lobby, and didn't need the car again until we left. Everything you could possibly need is close by. It was well worth it. And they took all of our bags to the garage and loaded our car when we left, even though it is not techically their garage. They were continually busy, but ALWAYS helpful with a genuine smile.
