The housekeeping service was lacking, the maids were rude. When I checked in the room was not clean..there was sand on the floor, I wanted to remove the window drapes and bedspread and have them washed.

Hotel was clean and staff reasonably efficient. Room was clean and large. Close to the road so the sound of traffic was present. Would stay for a night but not for longer durations.

We've been to Coconut Court 3 times now and had a great stay each time. The beach is unbeatable compared to any other hotels in it's class or above. The staff are friendly and the hot tub is a great place to chill out in the evenings! There is quite a big difference between the superior and the standard rooms so I'd reccommend the superior rooms.

Stayed at this hotel while on business. The room was large, and would certainly suffice for longer periods of stay as well. Beds are comfortable, balcony's large enough to sit and have in room dining if you so wished. The only downside of the room is the shower, which tends to wet most of the bathroom. Pretty minor though. The beach area in front of the hotel is superb. You literraly walk out of your room onto a beautiful sandy beach, with a beautiful ocean. The swimming part of the beach is beautiful, a rock formation keeps out most of the waves so it's pretty nice and calm water. Breakfast buffet is reasonable. I was missing the toast but when asked it came up right away. Dinners were good and affordable. Most of the people I met there had been there for a while and had not yet gotten bored, so I'm thinking of bringing my wife back next time for sure.

As far as hotels go this hotel is one of the nearer ones to the center of the city for business. It is definitely not a business class hotel though. I think this hotel would be good for those on a vacation that have a limited budget...it has a great beach!! Think young marrieds or college aged on budget. TGIFridays is across the street for a quick meal...almost everywhere else is a cab ride. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant so I have no opinion on that. My room was good sized, except for tiny bathroom...I'm a big guy and had to step outside to change my mind. Shower only, with plenty of hot water....a pet peeve of mine. I opted for the "upgraded" room with the pool and sea view for a few bucks more. AC blew cold and the room cooled off fast. TV is limited to cable and only 12 or so channels...at least on my set. It has wireless internet access that is not accessible in all rooms so if that's important note it on your request. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will probably stay again, but I'm a single business traveler that has to be near the city and I really don't spend much time at the hotel.

the rooms were well below standard. It had a stove/oven/ fridge and kitchen area but the actual room was probably a 1-2 star. Worse then a motel 6. Fuse kept blowing when I blowdried my hair and had the TV on at the same time. The bedspread wasn't big enough so they overlapped 2. The windows were louvered and didn't close properly, so there was alot of noise from the road outside. The restaurant was offering a BBQ for $60/person which I thought that was too expensive

Reviewed by Mark of Lilburn on Nov 30, 2008
The Coconut Court was very conveniently located to the center of Bridgetown for business and to the St. Lawrence Gap entertainment strip. Petra, one of the managers, seemed genuinely interested in making sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The waitresses in the restaurant were also top notch even though you should not expect 5-star quality food there (at this 3-star hotel). Because I was there mainly for business and needed reliable internet access, my biggest gripe was with the very unreliable internet access. If you have your own notebook with wifi capability the wireless access is free, but if you do not you must make do with paying by the minute for the use of one desktop in front of the reception desk (not at all private). For the first couple of days of my six-day stay the wifi signal was available to my room, but it did not allow you to connect to the internet, and it was like that in the lobby too. I had to use another signal that I found in the lobby from a neighboring property. If that signal was not available I would have been up the proverbial creek. Other guests were complaining about this, not just me. The signal allowed me to connect from my room during the middle part of my stay and then it repeated its bad ways at the end. The manager admitted that they have had problems with the internet connection and they have to keep resetting it. My only other complaint was that the woman who was the housekeeper for my room was quite surly. She even stood in the door sighing one day when I was not fast enough in leaving my room! This was really incredible behavior because I did not keep a dirty room and was out most of the time attending to business. I travel a lot to all kinds of hotels around the world for my job (including some of the most luxurious in the world) and I usually leave generous tips for housekeepers, but I did not leave any for her. To the hotel's credit, they solicited written and verbal comments on my departure, and I registered
