Good location near airport with I-64 access to reach downtown Norfolk or VA Beach or Bases in 15 minutes (if not rush hour). No noise distrurbance from airport. Nice sized room with space to work. I stayed for almost two weeks and it was not enjoyable. The gym was out of service. The pool was out of service. The jacuzzi was out of service. The in room movie rentals was out of service. Hotel over all was fine for the price. Pillows need replacing as do the matresses. Clean over all. Staff very nice but not very chatty. I will stay here again when visiting my son who is in the US Navy. The hotel was right between his base and the ship yard. Not far to the beach/strip. I paid 63.99 per night through Hotels.com

The TV was difficult to operate and the hotel did not offer any channel listing or any movie options. The rates were good, and the location was OK. The room definitely had a well worn look to it, but it was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly.

Complimentary breakfast begins at 6am, but at about 4:50am, staff had finished setting up the food and offered to prepare a small "take out" bag for me. That was a nice touch.

The infant crib was not set-up at arrival as requested and staff wasn't sure if they had one. After asking twice, the staff was able to locate a crib. After that, our stay was pleasant and uneventful. The room was clean and the beds were soft. I would stay there again.

This is the best hotel we have stayed in while visiting our family. This hotel was even better than the Hampton Inn in Norfolk that we usually stayed throughout the year. Second- people had been in the pool since 9 when I tried to enter at 10 mins till 10am the door wouldn't unlock. Informed front desk of the problem and was told does not open till 10. I was disappointed with the accomodations. In the bathroom there was dark discoloration behind the tile that appeared to be water damage and the grab bar was rusty looking. we had no washclothes and had to call the front desk 3 times before they were finally delivered at 10pm. The room was rather shabby. We used the in room coffee maker 1 time and it […] was never restocked. We returned to our room to find dirty cups and glasses from the night before still sitting there. The elevators are right next to the pool and the floor in front of the elevators and the elevator floors were usually wet and since I walk on crutches, getting on and off the elevators was tedious as crutches slip on wet floors. A rug or carpet in front of the elevator doors would have made entry and exit from the elevators safer. We left a wake up call the night before we left for 5:30am and never received a call. Fortunately we woke up on our own and didn't miss our plane. The complimentary breakfast was average (your usual fare) and the shuttle to the airport was punctual. My only problem was that the shower curtain didn't stay closed and we ended up getting quite a bit of water on the bathroom floor despite our best efforts not to.
