Not much for looks on the outside, but inside was very comfortable. Close and convenient to freeways and restaurants. Not much for continental breakfast, go out to find your own breakfast joint like Valeries Breakfast. Very satisfied.

The hotel is convenient, quality of service was excellent, great location and the hotel is beautiful. The rooms are a bit small and they could use more sound proofing. The staff could not be more helpful when our bill/rooms got screwed up. The worked to make it right. We were pleased with our stay and would return.

"Great location"
Close proximity to stores and interstate. Comfortable stay.

Generally good for the price Room size adequate. Sparsely furnished. Two comfortable queen beds with good bedding. HVAC was fairly quiet compared to many low end motels. Very small, but typical bar soap in bath. Facility is next to Fwy and easy to find. Freeway noise was not a problem. Gripes: Selections of TV channels (availability) is very limited […] and poor. I didn't view any pay for view movies, but the selection was very limited. TV Picture quality of many stations was also fuzzy. They were working on the problem while I was there and picture quality improved somewhat, but was never good. Limited parking with many trailers occupying parking places. It made finding a place to park difficult. A listing of nearby restaurants would have been helpful, but many fast food places are within sight of motel. If there was a listing in the room, I didn't find it. The continental breakfast was on the very low end of the scale. Packaged rolls and bagels. Packaged dry cereal. A waffle machine with no instructions, but not hard to figure out. Juice machine was good. Some fruit and healthier food would help. Nightstand lamp should have an electrical outlet for charging or accessory use on nightstand. I see this in most hotels, but not here. I suspect that the place has not been upgraded for many years. The hotel was a little old but the bathrooms were updated and it nice to have a mini refrigerator and microwave in the room.
Nothing special but not bad, great for a basic overnight pan a longer trip - not where I would spend the bulk if my vacation by any means but would not stop from staying there again if I was going to the area.

"Theft"
As I was away during the day working someone had rummaged through my suitcase and stole my old cell phone that I used as an alarm clock. I talked to the clerk at the desk and was informed that I would hear from the manager the next day. a few days later I called back and was informed the some thing. "Great Hotel"
The room was nice ,the first room smelled like smoke-it is a non-smoking hotel- but they moved us no problem. The shower had great water pressure. The FREE breakfast was much more than anticipated. This hotel was perfect. It was only about a 10 minute taxi ride from the Sleep Country Ampitheater where the concert was being held. The people in the lobby were friendly and very helpful in locating some local eating establishments.
"No wheelchair access!"
When we booked the room, we checked to make certain that they had a wheelchair accessible room. They clerk assured us they did, BUT she failed to mention that you can't get into the lobby to register if you are in a wheelchair!!! NO RAMP into the lobby! The room was OK and worked fine. "Shilo Inn was near the shuttle!!"
I was extremely please with the service we got at this Shilo Inn, the personel were amazing, very friendly. The location could not have been any better to the Sleep Country Ampitheater. There was a shuttle service across the street. $2. roundtrip fee.
"Vancouver WA"
This is a very average motel. Our room seemed clean but had the strong smell of dogs. One's nose just adjusted to the bad smell after a while. The front office person was very cheerful and helpful. The maintenance staff would do well to pay attention to the cleanliness of the hallways.

This hotel has everything we want and more. Also, they accept pets so we all had a wonderful stay!

The rooms were small to navagate a wheel chair comfortably, the beds were very hard. We slept horribly and were stiff . The pool was extremely cold, but was able to swim once we were accustomed to the temperature. The sauna was not warm. But we heard my sons beds were comfortable. The breakfast was great and the service was very good.

Really enjoyed this location so near to Portland yet not in the city. Very easy to get there from I-5. In spite of being right by the freeway there was minimal noise. Very comfortable room, everything functioning well, whatever any would want was provided. I loved the bed. "Shiloh Inn - Salmon Creek"
We had a good stay at this motel. It was comfortable, quiet and the staff was good as well. Had a indoor pool as well which is good for kids. The breakfast was decent.
"Ok for the night"
The hallways had a musty smell. Our room smelled smoky when we first went in, even though we had a non-smoking room. Sheets were clean, but blanket on the bed had stains. Fridge had not been cleaned. Housekeeping was ok, but not great. Fine to stay one night, but not a top choice.

Rooms very comfortable for the cost. Close to eating establishments and freeways. Breakfast includes hot waffles.

I went out of my way to enjoy the Shilo experience but found that all Shilo's arent equal. While the stay was acceptable, the amenities and nice touch was missing. The sink faucet stuck and sprayed water all over when it released. The toiletries were lacking and not comparable to other Shilo Inns. The breakfast was also limited.

Clean, Convenient and quiet even though it is next to the Freeway. The design of the hotel aids in insulating road noise.
"More than expected"
Nice place for a stay while on the road. Resturants and freeway close by. Larger room than expected and indoor pool with steam room were nice touches. Sarah checked us in and was very pleasant and informative about amenities and the area.

Check in was good. Room was as expected, nice for the price. The hotel is cramped in between two other businesses. My only issue I had was the door handle to the room. I was with my 2 year old and he was able to open the door.

The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The room was updated and clean. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast had a nice variety of choices. The only thing I like about this Inn is it's very close to the freeway exit. There's plenty of food choices around if you would like to eat out. The room was renovated and decent. They had a small pool that was a little bit cold and a small spa. The breakfast was just ok. They were packaged breakfast breads, sandwiches, pastries and cereal you can buy […] from Costco. "Great Breakfast!"
We were pleasantly surprised by the homemade waffles and the wide variety of food at the continental breakfast! We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the staff were very friendly!
It was better than I expected. Very spacious with comfortable beds. The room was quiet. I would stay here again. Also right at the freeway which was convienent, and also in the middle of several resturants. Very friendly staff.
The room was large and the beds were comfy. There wasn't enough lighting, so it was rather dark, even with all the lights on. Overall it was nice. Conveniently located near restaurants and a grocery store (and the room had a microwave and a fridge).

I wish all the other hotels on my road trip to Canada had been half this nice. Ez to get to off of the freeway, nice neighborhood, lots of food to get nearby, friendly staff, safe, super clean, comfy beds, good breakfast in the am....what more can you ask? Great job to the staff of this hotel....

Was very pleased to find modern rooms that were very clean and a friendly staff. The breakfast was beyond what you normally find at most hotels. This hotel is more affordable than others that I have stayed in and the quality is much better.

For the price, the room was excellent! Immediate access to highways, 20 minutes to Portland, and very conveniently located near variety of eateries. The continental breakfast was more than we expected, which made us regretted not able to eat the day before. I would recommend this hotel.

"All roads lead to Shilo Inn Vancouver"
The location of this motel at the confluence of I-5 and I-205 in Vancouver was very convenient for us because we traveled south on both interstate highways during our two night stay. The motel room and location near shopping areas were typical for a roadside motel, although having a refrigerator in the room was not a typical convenience for a motel […] such as this. The extras on the property, like an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, were a welcome bonus, as was the exceedingly full continental breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful The only drawbacks were a slight odor in the room and the drunken yahoos in the next room who insisted on yelling and carrying on until 5 am after their return from the bars at 2 am. Not much the motel can do to prevent that. Overall, Shilo Inn Vancouver was well worth the money. Read more
"Very Comfortable Accommodations"
We were pleased with the cleanliness and comfort of our room and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Popcorn and herbal tea available in the lobby, sauna & pool...all in all, I would recommend this hotel as a very nice and reasonably priced place to stay in the Vancouver area.

Shilo Inns are always a good value and place to stay but the one at Salmon Creek in Vancouver, WA is better than most. I plan on staying there whenever I go to Vancouver to visit family. Lot of dining choices within walking distance, requested a room on the ground floor next an entrance because of traveling with "My Boys"...........got the perfect room […] for being able to walk the dogs whenever they needed to go out. "Great value"
The best breakfast ever! Pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room were great after a long day. Staff was very helpful and didn't hesitate to help in any way possible. We will be staying here again.

The first thing about this hotel was that it was VERY convenient for me. I was attending the Ridgefield Bluegrass & Birdfest in Ridgefield ,WA, and the hotel was conveniently located right off I-5. The only problem with the location is that there was nothing but fast food everywhere. Not good. There was a moldy smell in the halls, but the rooms were […] very clean. The sheets were high-thread count, thus, very comfortable, and the pillows were pretty high quality.
