We stayed at this hotel on a return trip from Florida. The staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The room was very nice and clean, with all needed amenities. We had an early breakfast was very nice and we able to get an early start on our trip the next morning. The hotel is located close to I77 and there are many restaurants and additional shopping lose by. Parking is somewhat limited, but adequate.

After having a problem with another hotel in the area we chose to come across the street to this Holiday Inn Express, which is a totally pet friendly hotel. By pet friendly, they (Shannon) greeted us with open arms and by the end of the week I think they loved our pets as much as we did.. After staying a week, we could not of asked for a better hotel, and excellence staff. There was a guest appreciation dinner, what hotel does that anymore. I can not say thank you enough to the staff at this hotel.. Top Notch. We will be back next year. Thanks Teresa Adam

Good hotel near the I77 ,Very busy area as we went to walk across the street to applebee's with the kids and was abruptly honked at and sped by,by a giant SUV with woman on a cell phone ..Nice.Really need a cross walk due to the wallmart behind the hotel. Also it is a confusing area with small signs especially after dark.Breakfast was ok. hotel allows pets but i only saw one little dog and i didn't hear any more.
"Good Value, Clean Large Rooms, Limited Designated Parking"

We were in town for a college graduation and spent a night at the Holiday Inn Express, located near I-77 in Mooresville. The hotel, however, can be a bit tricky to find, as many hotels share the same space near fast food restaurants, Walmart, and a movie theater. Location: The location of the hotel is great. It is situated near enough to the highway to make transit easy but far enough away to avoid hearing significant traffic at night. When attempting to locate the hotel once off the interstate, I found it easier to continue following signs for the Quality Inn, as the Holiday Inn Express did not have good guidance. Holiday Inn is tucked in right behind the Quality Inn. We arrived later in the evening and were the last car to be able to fit in the designated hotel lot. I am sure parking nearby would be fine, though signs demarcated a good bit of space for other nearby hotels and restaurants. The proximity to a small mall, fast food restaurants, Walmart, and the movie theater would make this an easy spot to stop for the night or stay for a few days. Staff: The staff were courteous and efficient at check-in and check-out. We had an early morning to make it to a graduation and were surprised to see coffee and dry breakfast foods out so early. I believe the morning breakfast is more extensive, including hot items, though we did not have an opportunity to try it. Rooms: The rooms were quite large and had a desk, chair, large bed, and spacious bathroom. The furniture seemed well taken care of. Additionally, the rooms at the Holiday Inn Express are inside access - other nearby hotels had outside access rooms which deterred us from staying at them. Overall, the Holiday Inn Express is a good value for the money and is conveniently located. We would likely stay here again upon returning to the Mooresville area.

We had some problems checking in. They accidentally put us into a room that wasn't cleaned. When I walked back downstairs they quickly fixed the issue and was very sorry for the inconvenience. We had a 2 queen suite. It had a living room area and a separate bedroom area. The only problem was it was really tight. If you sit down at the computer desk a person couldn't walk down the hallway. There was a fridge and a microwave. The beds were very comfy but also very high. The air conditioner was hard to figure out how to get it to work correctly. The breakfast was very good though. A lot of variety. So not totally a 5 but definitely a 4. Would stay here again if in the area.

Stayed at this location 02/21/14. Room was very nice, bedding and bath were well appointed and clean. Mini fridge and microwave in room. I was up at 4:15 to go fishing, and was very surprised to find hot coffee in the breakfast area. No hot food at that time, but I was very glad to have cereal and bagels. Staff very friendly. Will stay here again. Only downside is the parking. I don't think they would have enough if they were sold out.

Located near the main freeway (good location if that's what you need) and near restaurants and stores, this is a great place. Very clean, very friendly service, good breakfast, the suites are large (we were in a 1-bedroom) with full kitchen, TV in each room and in the living room, comfortable beds. Very affordable, good value!

I am a business traveler. I am platinum in a number of different reward systems. 200-250 nights a year in hotels. This hotel is nice and in a convenient location. Staff are quick and no muss no fuss for weary road warriors. Everything you need, no annoyances. Not my favorite, but a very good, solid place to stay. Stayed here for over 2 weeks. The local restaurants were all excellent (- I didn't go to any of the ones directly in front - the ones you can drive to on River Hwy- ) The only complaint is the gym. It sucks - two treadmills and one bike. If you like to use these types of facilities look for an alternate gym. V Clean, not a single problem/ parking is a bit cramped but not a major issue.
"Excellent Pet Friendly Hotel"

My wife and I plus our dog stayed in this hotel for one night on a trip from Florida to Ohio. We found the hotel to be exceptional. The employees were very courteous, efficient and friendly. The facility and our room was great in every way and very clean. In addition, the room was very quiet and led to a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. We will definitely stay here again on return trips from Florida.
"Good pet friendly place to stay"

Stayed overnight en route to Florida on I-77. Friendly, helpful staff, clean room (being updated). Good breakfast with terrific cinnamon rolls! Charged $25 for both of our small dogs. Quite fair. Since we travel this route at least twice per year, this will be our halfway stopover for the foreseeable future.
