Best Western Plus Liverpool Grace Inn & Suites - Liverpool

We stayed at this hotel to attend a graduation at Syracuse University, it is reasonably priced and pretty close. It is an industrial park that appears to be dying. The hotel beds seemed a little worn out to us but it was fairly clean and the staff were attentive and helpful. All in all, it was a good experience.

Nice hotel but there were no towels at the pool and I had 4 11 yr olds swimming. Went to front desk was told we are out of towels they are in the dryer. Waited 1/2 hr for 2 towels was told that's all she had the rest were still in the dryer. Next AM toilet plugged. Kind of inconvenient with 5 people in the room. Called & asked for help. Was told maintenance […] didn't come until 1 pm. I asked for a plunger. Was told there was only one available & someone in another room used it & they didn't have one to let me use. The hotel was very accommodating. It is very near to Syracuse airport. Not too many restaurants close by. Stayed there to go skiing at Greek peak. The distance worked out nicely. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. 4 pillows for each bed was also a plus. Computers were available for guest use, and wireless internet throughout. The breakfast was great with an assortment of hot and cold items; eggs, sausage, waffles,bagels, toast, danish, juice, cereal, etc. In-room fridges were large. Girl at the desk was great and very up beat and helpful when we asked about dining . Pool and hot tub was clean and a great touch. Heater in room was a little annoying turning on and off but not a big issue as most motel rooms are the same. The last nice touch was a free breakfast. Belgian Waffles Yum ! We stayed here twice actually. The rooms were large so we could comfortably set up the pack n play for our daughter. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms however were a bit dated - older carpeting, furnishings, etc. The first time we stayed, the room was relatively clean but our second room was not. Service is key in this business and their service was splendid, from front desk to EVERY associate we encountered. Kudos to the staff... That said, I marvel at how internet photos can make an indoor pool look so large when in fact it's puny! That part was a little disappointing.

Stayed here because it was the only available room for parents weekend at Oswego College. Arrived at the Hotel about 11pm and did not see anyone at the reception desk. After looking around and looking over the counter, I finally saw the clerk at a desk in the corner studying. Thought it would be nice and clean, but our room was far from that. The curtains […] were ripped, the refrigerator was filthy, the toilet bole handle stuck which led to running water, and there was deb-re and plenty of dust behind the night stand between the beds. The continental breakfast was horrible except if you like watery microwaved eggs. I would not stay here. Remember to book your stay in The Oswego Best Western in September for the family weekend. We have stayed there and it is far better than our stay at the Best Western in Liverpool. Read more

The rooms were old, no desks, 17" tube TV, has not been updated since the 90's...no restaurants close by, I have better fitness equipment at my home than they do in there "GYM" , sorry never again will I stay there.

The breakfast definitely made the deal a deal. Good and plentiful. Pool was small, but heated and clean. Hot tub was a bonus. Big room, but bathroom door kept slamming shut. Overall, we had a great time.

I was happy enough with the hotel, except for the fact that the water would not drain out of the bath tub. However, we were NOT happy with the $84.75 pet charge for a three night stay. We have stayed at a Hilton in Myrtle Beach for the whole month of March and was only charged $50 for the month. Many chain hotels, Drury Inn, Holiday Inn, etc. do not […] even charge a pet fee. Also, we asked for a late departure on the day we left and we were told there would be a $10 charge PER HOUR for every hour we stayed over the 11am discharge time....this to me, is outrageous. The hotel is away from the city, but close enough it only takes a matter of minutes to be where you want to be. Friendly staff, and great breakfast and room. Had a slight problem with the bathroom, but they said they would fix it right away, too bad we were leaving that day so we don't know if they really fixed it or not. Would definately return.

Best Western in Liverpool, NY was a good value. Not a terrible location, not a terrible hotel -- not the best either. Our walls were thin, we were only given mini-pillows (??) and were given one bed instead of two. That said, staff were nice and free breakfast doesn't hurt! The coffee was delish. I would have been happy if it cost less than a hundred. At the price I paid, though, not so happy.

Pool needs to be open til 11 pm..10 is too early. We have stayed here 4 times and breakfast has never improved..go to Burger King Adjoining room walls are so thin we were awoken by a domestic next to us 2 times through the night. While its not hotels fault it made for a restless night. Something was thrown at wall that our bed was up against!

Great hotel for the money. Put family up when they came to visit. The doors are certainly not soundproof as they had very noisy neighbors and not great when you have children trying to sleep.
