I just recently returned from a 3 day stay at Sunset on the Beach. We had a Ocean front suite with a kitchen. It was great to have a kitchen and be able to cook in the room. The suite was a great size. The view from the balcony was amazing. The room was actually feet from the sand and the water. The room was clean, but in need of updating and some repairs. The sheets were clean, but had holes in them and the comforter was stained with ink. The staff was fantastic. We had issues with the air conditioner and the staff took care of it quickly each time there was an issue. It took about 24 hours and the issue was completely fixed. I would recommend this resort and would return again.

Nice property in the center of 7 mile beach. You can walk in either direction to find something to get into. Very small beach. No tv in the standard room.

The hotel was great. The food was good and the staff were wonderful. The beach in front of the Riu ropical Bay is one of the best in Jamaica. The shows were good and the entertainment staff superb. We especially enjoyed the Rimshot Band and their singer Shandy Man. They are true Jamaican talents.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. The beach is beautiful, the service is great, the food was good, and there is plenty to do at the resort. We enjoyed working out at the outdoor gym and playing ping pong when we weren't at the beach.

Everybody at the hotel had one thing in mind, to make sure you were comfortable and had every thing you needed. We were 3 generations and noone was bored or uncomfortable in any way. the food was exceptional for such a large crowd. and the pool, beach and grounds were immaculate.

Staying at Seashore Bay Beach resort (formerly Beaches Sandy Bay) was a great experience. The beach was wonderful as was the staff and service. This is a charming small resort with really good food, comfortable clean rooms, and an exceptional location on 7 mile beach. This vacation was as close to perfect as we have had so far as a family. We all enjoyed […] the beach, the pool, and the free Hobie Cats and kayaks. We snorkeled one day (extra fee) and rented a jet ski (also additional); but most of the time we just relaxed and soaked in the sun sipping tropical drinks. My favorite part, besides lying under a tree reading for hours while the kids played in the sand just a few feet away, was renting a large inflatable raft for 5 bucks and floating on the calm water of the Caribbean with my DH. Paradise! I can't emphasize enough how great the location is. Picture perfect. This resort is about to undergo major renovations so we're not sure how much longer it's going to hold on to its' charm. Hopefully making it more "posh" won't destroy the lovely laid back Jamaican feel of this lovely resort. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the rooms need a little bit of updating - BUT it's nothing that should deter you from going, because it's still REALLY nice. We would definitely recommend this resort and hope to return ourselves. Read more

We had the most amazing time ever! From the time we stepped on to the property, we were treated like kings and queens. Michelle and Obrien took us to our room. Junior, Joseph, Eileen, Wade, Charone took excellent care of us at the bar. Mark, Kevin, and Margaret were excellent chefs for us! Georgia, Jodian, and many others were the best waitresses at […] breakfast, lunch,and dinner. Then comes Andre and Kharon and Vanessa who took care of us nightly for entertainment.
