When I first arrived at Golden Nugget, it seemed to be a pretty nice hotel. I went to go check in, and the front desk clerk was ok. I asked if we could have a room on a higher floor, he stated that they didn't have any rooms. Checking the website, they weren't sold out. When I got to my room it smelled bad. I asked if we could change rooms,he said no. The next room over you could hear everything they were saying. The walls are paper thin. I think they should consider upgrading there rooms. I would never stay there again.

Air conditioning unit was so loud you had to turn it off to sleep. Other than that staff etc was perfect.

the room was clean, very comfortable and for the rate, the room exceeded my expectations. Close to great restaurants and coffee shop, plus in room coffee

The overall stay was good. However, since I was charged for an exta person, I expected that thre would be amendities in the room for the extra person. There was not. We had to ask every day to get towels.

When I arrived and tried to get two adjoining rooms, the desk personnel told me that I had to get rooms down the hall from each other to have two rooms with two queen size beds in each room. They told me that I had to have one of the rooms with a king size bed in it if I wanted adjoining rooms with a door connecting the rooms. I asked them to contact another hotel that could accomodate me as it was ten o'clock at night. The hotel manager came to the desk and told me that the closest she could come to accomodating me was to give me two rooms across from each other. It was late and I had a large party of people to get the rooms for and I agreed. The next day, I discovered that the room next to mine had two queen size beds. Why the hotel manager and other personnel lied to me and could not accomodate me, I don't know. I do know that I will not return to the Golden Nugget for hotel accomodations.

Golden Nugget is a nice place to stay for the money. Don't expect a 5 star and you won't be disappointed. Room was comfortable with it's 2 queen beds, lots of tv stations and nice bath with tub/shower. The only down side was there are no signs directing you to the front desk or hotel area until you are in the front door entrance to the casino. Park out front, check in, move your luggage, then put the car in the parking garage....all entrances to all the rooms are thru the lobby. Didn't find any meal deals here but if you have a card the Tropicana Express has a great buffet and it's a short walk up the street.

No Wi-Fi available in rooms. It's a clean hotel but needs updating.

Excellent accomodations, regardless of the price, which was also eceptional. I will stay in this hotel at every opportunity.

very nice room, good air condition. For privacy hang sign at the door. No fridge.

The price is good, the only thing I would recommend is the BED...to firm for me and my husband....But the other amenities...worth the price

WE WERE PLEASANTLY SURPRISED BY THE QUALITY, CLEANLINESS AND PROFESSIONALISM OF THE STAFF; ESPECIALLY IN CONSIDERATION OF THE PRICE. ALSO, WE FOUND THIS PROPERTY TO BE OF HIGHER QUALITY THAN OTHER ESTABLISHMENTS WE HAVE STAYED AT IN LAUGHLIN, NEVADA IN THE PAST.

Hotel room was great after I upgraded to a room with a view.

The hotel was easy to find and park our car in. Lobby and gambling areas were clean but were smoke filled. Our room was okay. Nothing special and not exactly a room I want to drop something on the floor and have to re-use.

Easy to find, free parking, clean efficient lobby. Room was spotless, spacious and well appointed. The only downside was wifi was only available in the lobby. However, once I had returned from the lobby, I continued to get a signal. The pool was clean and tidy, with a nice view over the Colorado river. I couldn't find a single fault with the hotel overall

Room requested (king bed) was not available, so with no prompting from customer hotel personnel upgraded the room to a premium double room for no additional charge. The room was very nice and well maintained.

This is our hotel of choice in Laughlin. We especially like the large sports bar and the casino. Also, the Golden Nugget is centrally located along the Laughlin "strip," so all other hotels are easily accessible via the river walk. The hotel personnel were exceptionally nice and the dealers at the tables were hilarious and personable.

Visited on the week days had a great price. The room was large,bed very comfey, the bath mat was a nice touch. Will diffently come back. Only draw back is the pool is small and filled with kids.

I dropped our baggage in the room and felt that the room deodorizer was a little strong, but hoped it would dissapate while we were out. We went to dinner and played. When we returned at 9:00 P.M. an overwhelming, noxious odor permeated the room (my husband claims it was vomit). When we complained, we were told they were sold out,but they could ozone the room. It would take an hour. We left, came back and it was better. However, when I opened my luggage, my clothes wreaked with the odor of the room. The bed was so hard, I didn't sleep the entire night. Although it was supposedly pillowtop, it was worn to the point of having no top left. The next morning I left the room and refused to go back in it. We went to the front desk to complain. They did get us another room. Fortunately, the bed was comfortable and the room did not stink. There were little things on top of the obnoxious discomforts I did not like. The pool has no jacuzzi. I know the Colorado Belle and Tropicana have them for the same room rates. The shower heads did not move and in the first room, you had to stand against the wall to get under the flow of water. The hallways were stifling hot. Air was only turned on in the rooms. Overall, the visit stunk. The staff, however, were helpful and caring. They just can't compensate for a lousy product.

Stayed for one night. Been over 10 years since my last stay there, and nothing has changed that I can tell. Rooms are just fine. Nothing special but clean and comfortable. Spent a few hours at the pool with kids. The pool furniture is really exceptional. Very upscale chairs and loungers. My only complaint: There were two skunks roaming around the pool area and hotel staff did nothing to get rid of them. Perhaps they were harmless, but it made the guests at the pool area very nervous.

Golden Nugget is a very nice hotel and casino. Has a starbucks, Joe's crabshack. 5.99 tbone is very good also the 9.99 prime rib dinner was excellent as well. Small piece of prime rib but ended up being more than enough to satisfy my appetite. Prime rib was very flavorful and mash potatoes were outstanding. Only paid 19.99 a night because I made reservation on weekday. Had a great time.

This was a great value for the price and had a very good and inexpensive breakfast!

The hotel was beautiful but the floor where my room was located smelled cuz the toilet was not working in many rooms including mine. It smelled horribly made me nauseous.

Price was great, room spacious. Pool was a bit small, but the view of the river from the pool area was nice. Poolside furniture was surprisingly upscale. Very satisfied with this hotel, will probably stay here again when coming back to laughlin.

They could not give us the kind of room we wanted but they were nice. The wall paper was coming off the walls in the bathroom and the bathtub faucet leaked. The bed spreads looked like they came from the seventy's but maybe that was on purpose.

Our stay was wonderful. The facilities were fun and very enjoyable. I will visit again.

this was a very affordable and comfortable hotel. It was family friendly and conveniently located right on the river bank. Staff were kind and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the free wi-fi internet access at several designated locations in the hote. Definitely would recommend this hotel.
