For into Wellington on a late flight, took a short can ride to the hotel. Had a little trouble finding the late night entrance but it didn't take long. Our room was clean, Eco-friendly, and quiet. We were up early and walked around and found a nice cafe nearby. Great location, wish we had time to stay longer!

This hotel was truly a steal. While the rooms are pretty bare-bones, they are comfortable, stylish, and most importantly, clean. I was in Wellington for a conference and stayed at the Comfort Hotel. It's sparse but pretty and clean, and it's in a lively neighborhood. My only complaint is the front desk staff who were altern clueless or apathetic. Made me quite frustrated each time I had to deal with them.

This hotel is clean, but the description is deceptive. When we went to the room, it was EXTREMELY small. The outside temps were very warm and there is NO air conditioning. This "hotel" is an old backpackers hostel that has been refurbed. At least we had our own bathroom. I just feel it should be stated in the description.

This hotel is located on Cuba Street, where there are many bars and restaurants, which makes it very convenient. The rooms were simple but satisfactory. The staff was reasonably friendly and helpful. The building is somewhat old and has a beautiful wooden staircase. There is an elevator. On the whole, not a bad choice.

The hotel was beautiful and good location for shopping and dining. If taking the bus or train into Wellington if is quite a distance from there. The local buses can only get you close to the hotel and you have to walk through the shopping area of Cuba St to get to it. Easier to take a taxi but more expensive. Otherwise, a great hotel!

Great Cuba St location, but the room was 35C when we opened the door. opening the windows did little to cool things down. There was a fan that helped after the sun went down but with the noise we had to close the windows. There was a marquee light on the front of the building made it hard to darken the room. I'm happy to recommend this great budget hotel (in a convenient) location for short stays. The room was small but comfortable. It would have been better if the room had a bigger TV rather than a tiny one way up on a cabinet but I'm sure most people are more interested in going out to eat in the fantastic surrounding Cuba St precinct in the evening!

Room was clean and quiet, most of the stuff were friendly, location was great, very happy with our stay. Expect the room to be small, but thats probably Wellington. Only one small issue, bartenderess was not happy giving us the ice bucket to use for our champagne in our room.

Rooms are extremely small. Hard time actually locating the hotel. It is not clearly marked as a Comfort Hotel but rather a Quality. The $25 parking fee makes the nights stay excessive. We have cancelled an additional reservation at this hotel.

Our room had recently had a quality refurbishment and while it was small once you were in it, it didn't feel that way. The bathroom is a good size with quality fittings. There is a desk to work on. The windows open for fresh air and the heater worked quietly and quickly to heat the room. Good natural light. You can hear outside rattles if the wind is […] blowing (which it does a lot in Wellington :) ) but it wasn't bad and for a Friday night it was pretty quiet on the street. There is a gym, spa and swimming but we didn't have time to try them. The reception area is great and the general ambience of this is lovely with an attached cafe, bar and seating/waiting areas. The staff were very helpful. The location is really central, with a 5-10 minute walk to the Michael Fowler Centre. Upper Cuba St is full of really interesting shops and cafes. This was a very comfortable hotel and perfect for what I needed on my recent visit to Wellington. The double room was a bit smaller than some other hotels I have stayed at but it had everything I needed for my stay. The only negative thing I would say about the room is that the desk was only just big enough for a laptop computer and there was no light […] over it so not the best for doing any work. There was a good choice for breakfast and it was well layed out. Only negative thing I would say here is that the bread seemed a bit stale unless you toasted it but I am sure if I had asked they would have replaced it. The hotel is adequate if you are not planning on spending lots of time in the room, as rooms are small. The bed was only made with 2 sheets on top and a very thin layer between. This was very light and we had to request extra bedding. Others were at reception requesting extra bedding also.
