"Clean but somewhat worn"
The paint on the ceiling was pealing back. I was in a room in the corner and the only thing I looked out to was the other room. The room had no natural light. The breakfast was not edible. The cheese looked old and the fruit appeared to have been setting out all night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Parking was difficult. The back door to the hotel was open all night to the back alley parking so I wasn't comfortable with the security.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
LA Sky does have a nice ambience. We really liked to semi-covered fabric roof. It definitely gave the hotel a nice feel and style. It was a bit pricey though. Next time if all things are equal, we will stay in Pasadena. The Saga hotel there is great and on$85 with an internet reservation (compared to L.A.'s average price of $200/nite).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean and comfortable. It was raining hard so we didn't spend anytime in the atrium area, but it looked like a relaxing space. Our room key consistently didn't work so each time we re-entered the hotel the clerk needed to fix the key. Fortunately, our room was near the front desk. We would stay here again when visiting for concert at […] Troubadour. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel layout is a bit awkward and very dead. Overall the decor is cool and modern but it's uncomfortably quite and you can literally hear the maids sweeping as if they are in your room. Also, know that the walls are paper thin. Definitely won't book or refer this hotel to anyone...Genuine Expedia guest review
"Ok hotel, ok location, ok everything.."
Hotel is 2 story on a busy street, I was expecting a larger hotel but we ended up on a main level room with not a single window so we felt like we were in a cave. Hotel is in overall good condition, looks like some improvements have been made, our room had lots of touch up paint marks on the walls, and did not look professionally finished off but for […] the $ for the room we didn't complain. Deli across the street is fantastic and there is a nice restaurant within about 2 blocks so there was plenty good food nearby. Would probably not stay again there were many other options in that price range I thought I was getting a good deal but it was somewhat disappointing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This place feels like an updated motel. The update is good but it's not quite as nice as the pictures. Clean, quiet and in a good location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Stayed here while on a visit to the getty, it's walking distance to some great restaurants and a mall down the street.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Close to mall"
My room was clean and you can see the effort made in trying to give it an updated "boutique" feel but with thin walls, door cards that never worked and bulging drywall seams in the room, you can also see this was a rush job to refurbish the location. Worst part was the parking. Small 10 to 15 car lot in back with one way driveway to use for both entering […] and exiting. Blind tight corner to turn in or out so beware of oncoming cars as you wont see them until its too late. Also with such limited parking, by early morning when I need to leave for work cars have parked blocking others. Frustrating to get out as you have to inch yourself back and forth several times in order to get out if you even can. Then to find my exit blocked by cones forcing me to squeeze out of my car, as driveway is extremely small, and move the cones aside so I could exit was yet another frustrating experience. The location is good. The staff was great. The rooms were nice. Typical hotel room – however, the walls are paper thin, which is why this didn’t get a 5 star rating. You can hear everything from wall to wall and anything in the “courtyard”. This is basically a closed in motel. Keep that in mind. If you have earplugs/white noise machines and are OK with […] this, you might like the rooms. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awful customer service, mediocre room."
Check in, my girlfriend made the reservation, but I'm paying with my credit card, the guy refer to my girlfriend's name as " whatever the name is". They charge your card without telling you the reason. He just swipe and ask for signature, if you don't ask he will not tell you what u have just paid for. The room is mediocre, nothing to say. The channels […] on the tv are messed up, big sanitizer smell in the bathroom. They changed the room key three times to make us one that is working. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
It's clear this hotel has had a facelift. There are remnants of old everywhere and the work that was done was not professional. That said, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the shower was hot! I also liked the Bath & Body Works shampoo etc.Genuine Expedia guest review
We needed a nice room nothing luxurious to spend the night in a centrally location. The room was clean and spacious. The deli across the street was a nice surprise for having breakfast. Probably will stay there again if the price is right. The hotel charge $15 for overnight parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Excellent Location to many LA attractions"
Good rooms/service and courteous staffGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Home Style Heat"
It was not what I expected after viewing the photos, but it was okay. The heating system was a floor stand osculating heater. I think I paid about $120 for the room, I certainly would not pay more. This seamed more like the perfect "party motel".Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Little Place"
Nice little place--no frills, good location and friendly staff (Thomas and Ben!). Good vibe.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great hotel for the price! Clean! Bed is comfortable. Good Indian and Thai places around the corner. Super close to the mall if u need to shop. Easy to get to downtown Culver City.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
the location is not really gd cuz the hotel surrounded by restaurants that has a very strong smell . the room needs more clean . i can see and smell the dust .Genuine Expedia guest review
"Boutique and Unique"
Updated, modern retro, clean and cozy. Though not necessarily a destination in and of itself, the staff was very courteous, the location was in within easy walking distance of a fantastic deli and upscale mall and the stay comfortable. We would definitely choose this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"best westside location"
the sky boutique is an unassuming hotel with a wonderful intimacy to it....almost like a melrose place feel. the best part is the location. walking distance to eveything you need as a vacationer. factoring in the price and location, this spot is the best bet going for anything in the west los angeles area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Sound insulation is terrible! Heard toilet noise, footsteps, etc. from neighboring rooms constantly. If you want to have a quiet sleep, stay away from this hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice staff. Comfortable bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place but definitely not worth the price."
A little trouble with door keys not working. Room extremely small and limited parking and tv channels.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great place to spend the night"
I had a wonderful night. The room was large and comfortable. It was well ventilated and very quiet for sleeping. Parking was super convenient. I will stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Youth hostel vs boutique hotel"
Pictures looked nice online but honestly felt like I was staying in a hostel and for the price of the room I was very disappointed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Adorable LA hotel very central"
This hotel is a great stay. Very comfortable and close to LA.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Boutique--I don't think so."
Rooms claustrophobic. No windows. Lighting bad. Fee for cramped parking. Joke breakfast. Lobby furniture upholstery shedding dandruff. I stayed here many times several years ago, and at least the breakfast was a breakfast. It's gotten rundown since. Probably new owners milking it before flipping. Stay away.Genuine Expedia guest review
"boutique hotel in Westwood"
I needed to stay close to west side of LA, so chose this place. It was fine for a one-night stay but it was definitely on the quirky side. I'd stay again for same purpose, but probably not for longer stays.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very good hotel! Not the first time We were in."
The best hotel I've been staying. Nice, clean, quiet (you cant hear anyone else behind the walls. Rooms are all different (I've seen 3 types of them) BUT ALL of them are super clean with everything you need.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good eating places nearby. Close to freeway.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Pleasant Surprise Inside"
This hotel was better than expected for our last-minute trip to UCLA for Parents' Weekend. While parking is tight, we spend Sat. nite there and were able to take advantage of free parking on city streets, as recommended by the staff, with an easy trip to and from campus. Loved the French-inspired décor and continental breakfast!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Awsome hotel to stay at! Best in Westwood!"
Feels like home away from home, not the stardard boring hotel. Its worth every penny!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel could be much nicer. For one they had a comically small flat screen on the wall in the bedroom. About the size of a standard computer monitor. Not what you would expect from a nice hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, cute and cozy hotel in a perfect location"
Reading the reviews before staying at the hotel scared me and gave me low expectations. Not sure why everyone else's experience was so bad. I loved the hotel, the staff was super nice and the room was clean and decorated very nicely.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Random, but a good price for LA"
Strange little ex-apartment building hotel. Nice staff. Walls extremely thin. Could hear way too much going on in rooms next to us late at night. Clean. Cheap furnishings, but well-maintained. You get what you pay for with this one.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good room bad AC system."
Room was just what we needed but the AC was confusing to operate and we were sweating at night. Finally got it to work the morning we checke out. A little expensive for what we paid for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to UCLA, bus, restaurants"
We stayed one night as we viewed UCLA as a potential university for our daughter. Easy access to UCLA with a quick bus ride. The hotel reminded me of Europe yet the breakfast did not-- very sparse and you are charged for it. There was bottled water in the room but only for one person. Tap water in LA is not very good and I would recommend the hotel […] goes bigger on the water considering it probably costs them 50 cents each. The pull-out couch was not usuable so our daughter squished up on top of the couch. She almost could stretch out , good thing she is short. The staff was very friendly and we had a comfortable stay. I would also recommend they vacuum beneath the bed-- when looking for an earring we were dismayed with the dirt and trash . The price was good for this area and yes, I would stay there again. "Great for price!"
The next lowest price was $110 higher than what I paid and I was only a few blocks further away from my destination. The room was clean and comfortable, the walls were a little thin but no major complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Art deco style hotel in West LA"
The hotel was ok, the interior of the rooms is interesting. I found the rooms a bit small and because they are ground level, it feels a bit strange. The location was good, staff friendly. For us it was a convenient location.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were visiting colleges in the area and absolutely loved this hotel. It reminded me of some of the European hotels that we have stayed in. The rooms are adorable and comfortable and the hotel is an easy jump to major highways to get you around town. We would definitely recommend and stay in this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Extremely rude front desk worker when checking in. Had to call hotels.com and threaten to deny charges, have them call the hotel directly to talk me off the ledge. Very unhappy with him. Good thing he wasn't back the rest of my stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great family owned and operated hotel very modern and cozy, safe and nice location. Most of all comfort and quietGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Pleasant boutique hotel close to our family in LA"
Quick trip to LA for a family birthday party. Hotel was close to where we needed to be and had the amenities we needed for a reasonable rate. Breakfast included would have been nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
