comfortable, spacious suite with well-equipped kitchen. bed very comfortable, nice bathroom as well. Front desk staff were very helpful and spoke fluent English. only small negatives: occasionally very slow wireless internet, and hot water sometimes a bit cooler than desired.

This residence (apartment) hotel is located in a very quite area of Budapest, at night you here the birds sing in the tree line boulevards. A 20 minute walk will bring you to the “chain-bridge”. The staff is young and very helpful. The ambience is very pleasant and spacious. Breakfast good and the WIFI functions great.

This is a solid 4 star apartment style hotel with a great location (just off lovely Andrassy Blvd and near restaurants and metro/tram stops at Octogon) and wonderful concierge-style reception staff. Excellent service and facilities. Couldn't be better. One tiny niggle, though. Like most hotels, if you want a taxi to the airport it is best (much cheaper) to ask for an independent taxi (e.g. Fotaxi) rather than the hotel's own taxi service.

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Mamaison. Excellent service, staff, and location. The rooms are great, and all face onto a garden courtyard. However, since the rooms are all apartment style, don't expect the daily clean and towel change. Free internet is always nice, as was fitness centre.

This was my second stay at Mamaison Izabella and I was not disappointed. It's a very comfortable and convenient place to stay. The apartments are really nice and homely. I'll be returning to Budapest I'm sure and I see absolutely no reason to stay anywhere else. The staff are very helpful and the free WiFi a real bonus. There is only one small change […] I'd make and that is for the towels to be changed as standard more often without guests having to request it. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. On our second visit, we were recognised and greeted as we came through the door. The stafff were delightful and our room was lovely. On our first vist, we had an Ambassador suite, but this time, because we were there for only two nights, we went into a Small Classic suite, which was perfect. The room was cleaned by a member of staff, who left us a choclate St Nicholas ( this being St Nicholas' Day) When we left we were given embroidered book marks. Ok - many hotels might do the same, but here it is all done with great warmth and charm and visitors are made to feel like welcome guests, not just paying customers. We were there in early December and so the Advent candles were a warm and welcoming sight in the hall. This hotel/ apartment was brilliant. The location is second to none in my opinion being close to metro line 1 and also near the Terror Museum and the Opera. The room was gigantic with a huge bed and an enormous balcony overlooking a quiet secluded courtyard. The staff were most friendly and nice. As I usually struggle to find anything suitable to eat at breakfast in hotels I thought this trip we would go for an apartment and make our own (I'm a strict vegetarian who is also diabetic!). Very pleasant staff who all spoke great English Fantastic location just off Andrassy and in 'spitting' distance of a Metro stop Two wonderful coffee/cake shops within a minute's walk Quiet location - couldn't hear any traffic or street noise from our apartment Room overlooked the central courtyard garden and had big french windows too By the way they do breakfast (at a charge) for those that don't want to make their own Lastly, a small supermarket also within a minute, on the corner of Izabella utca and Aradi utca and a covered Food Market within 5 minutes at Hunyadi ter We simply loved it and will be recommending to anyone who have similar needs to us. Don't let the front door or the street put you off - my business colleagues and I pulled up in the taxi to cries of "Where's the Hotel" and "Oh, No it can't be it !". This is a well located hotel on the Pest side of Budapest. Just a short walk to tube station which well take all around Budapest. For those who get confused on metro lines this is a very simplistic system there is only three lines. Our accommodtion was fantastic very spacious. The staff were very polite and helpful. As we were only there for 4 nights […] there was no change of bed linen or towels, there was no cleaning service either only kitchen bin emptied each day. Having said this it did not take away from out enjoyment of the hotel or out stay in Budspest. Restaurants very reasonable and good selection. Trip on the Danube well worth it. Buda side of Danube very beautiful lots to see. Weather late Setpember was nice but bring a jacket as we had a full day of rain. Shopping is not much fun as there is not a huge selection of shops. Siamo molto soddisfatti dell'hotel, le camere anzi gli appartamenti sono molto spaziosi, ben arredati e tenuti bene. Il personale e' stato molto gentile, ci ha aiutato con le escursioni che volevamo fare e parla un buon inglese! La posizione e' ottima a pochi passi dalla metropolitana che porta direttamente in centro o nell'altra direzione al parco […] e a piazza degli Eroi. Entrambi comunque facilmente raggiungibili a piedi con una bella passeggiata. L'unico piccolo neo e' il fatto che non rifanno le camere, questo andrebbe migliorato visto l'ottimo servizio. Per noi famiglia di quattro con due bambini piccoli, che alla partenza eravamo titubanti sull'andare in appartamento invece che in hotel, si e' rivelata una scelta azzeccata! Bemötandet på hotellet var mycket bra. Alla pratade bra engelska och var behjälpliga på alla sätt. Smidigt med ett gym på hotellet också. Cirka hundra meter från hotellet hittar ni Metron så ni tar er enkelt ner till Vaci Utca om ni vill det. Har varit i Budapest många gånger och det här är ett av de bästa hotellen vi bott på.
