Stayed here 3 nights after 4 nights in Palma. Nice beach, relaxed atmosphere, suite rooms very comfortable. Read prior reviews so was prepared for nickel-and-dime approach to extras ie Charges for internet, in room safe, etc. With that expectation, hotel was just fine. Awesome breakfast buffet.

Typical 5-star hotel for those who prefer lazy sunbathing for the most of day with swimming in shallow sea or in outdoor pool. Long sandy beach is a plus for those who like jogging in the morning.

The Hotel was excellent and staff were friendly and helpful. The Hotel seemed to have mainly German guests which meant there weren't too many people for me to speak to which wasn't great as i was there on my own. The hotel is right on the beach and it was a nicer beach than the one art Port d'Alcudia. Foyer spectacular, travelled a lot and never seen one like it. The beach was superb, sea shallow and calm ideal for children and adults alike. Not a lot to do around the immediate vicinity, but they had very good evening entertainment six days out of seven. Food varied and plentiful and service very good.

We moved to this hotel from the hotel Illa D'Or in Puerto Pollensa, where we'd originally booked and arrived to find the rooms had no balconies and were really small and dingy, in spite of it being a 4* hotel. We were a bit concerned that the Be Live Grand Palace De Muro might be a bit out on a limb, but actually it's very easy to travel about as the […] bus services are good and very cheap (they go from outside the hotel direct to Palma, Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia). The hotel is absolutely lovely, very impressive, beautiful beach and pools, lovely saunas, steam room and indoor pool. The staff were fantastic; efficient and friendly, and the rooms were excellent with big balconies and large bathrooms, elegantly decorated. The food was also very good, but it's definitely worth doing half board as there aren't any restaurants in walking distance, but C'an Picafort is only a couple of stops on the bus and does have loads of places to eat. The Grand Palace is a very imposing building, we had a suite on the second floor which had a nice side sea view. The suite had a comfortable sitting room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Nice to have a full size fridge though strange to have to ask for a kettle and no coffee or tea in room! Good buffet breakfast and dinner, as we were on Half Board we […] were told that we could eat one night in the Gourmet Restaurant and once in the Japanese Restaurant. On Saturday we ask to be booked into the Gourmet restaurant for the Sunday night to be told that it was only open on Fridays so we missed that one - same we weren't told that on check in. When the batteries in the safe ran out, maintenance came immediately to replace them. The breakfasts were wonderful and varied with plenty of choice, and as we had to leave […] for our flight early on the last day, they prepared a breakfast for us before service started. We were also given a complimentary drink on arrival, which was quite late at night. We hired a car when we arrived at the airport, as it would have been difficult to get around the island and made it easier to get to the hotel. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Vorsaison. Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem ruhigen Strandabschnitt in der Bucht von Alcudia. Mit einem Leihwagen sind gerade die sehenswerten Ziele an der Westküste sehr gut erreichbar. Ein tolles Früstücksbuffet und ein freundlicher Service. Die Zimmer sind groß und gut ausgestattet. Nur kleine Details, […] wie etwas fehlende Garderobenhaken, sind verbesserungswürdig. Der Indoorpool ist zwar klein, war aber sehr gepflegt. Die Saunen sind etwas einfallslos (zwei Trockensaunen mit identischen Temperaturen, ein Dampfbad). Ein Manko bei einem Hotel dieser Sternezahl: für WLAN muss man tageweise nicht wenig bezahlen. Weitere Freizeitmöglichkeiten: Billard/ Fitnessraum/ Squash-Court. Fast schon übertrieben: zweimal täglich Roomservice. Read more

Hervorragendes Hotel, angesichts der 5 Sterne aber 2 Kritikpunkte: Restaurant um 22.30 Uhr bereits geschlossen (dafür aber noch brauchbarer Zimmerservice bis 23 Uhr) Obwohl Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht - in dem Hotel gebe es nur Nichtraucherzimmer - stank das Hotelzimmer erheblich nach Rauch.

Zimmer schön und sehr sauber, ruhig. Einziger Wermutstropfen: Wir waren in der Nachsaison dort, eine Woche vor Schließung. Daher waren die Zimmer etwas zu kalt. Nach Rückfrage bei Rezeption wurde etwas mehr gehizt, aber man konnte es nicht selbst regeln... war immer noch etwas kühl.

Das Palace de Muro liegt sehr schön aber nicht direkt im Zentrum. Direkt neben dem Hotel gibt es einen Supermarkt in dem man alles wichtige bekommt. Wenn man jedoch nicht nur im Hotel und am Strand sein möchte, würde ich einen Mietwagen empfehlen. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und hat eine schöne Poolanlage, dennoch würde ich es eher für Frühjahr […] oder Herbst empfehlen. Im Sommer wenn das Hotel voll ist, wird es an dem schmalen Strandabschnitt und bei der Kapazität der Poolanlage sehr eng werden. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ausgezeichnet. Es gibt eine große Auswahl von allem was man nur frühstücken kann und alle frisch. Ich bin generell kein Fan von Buffets beim Abendessen, deshalb hatten wir nur Frühstück gebucht. Es wurde uns angeboten im Restaurant abends essen zu gehen, was wir am letzten Abend auch taten. Das Essen war sehr vielfältig und qualitativ sehr gut. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Unser Zimmer war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und Sauber. Die Dusche war sehr verkalkt und durch die Saison schon etwas mitgenommen, aber darüber konnten wir hinwegsehen. An der Rezeption konnte man uns stehts weiterhelfen, alle Mitarbeiter sprachen Spanisch, Englisch und Deutsch. Fazit: Für einen ruhigen Urlaub in der Nebensaison mit gutem Essen, mit Mietwagen um die Insel zu erkunden und Standspaziergängen ist das Palace de Muro nur zu empfehlen Read more

Cet hôtel est vraiment luxueux et mériterait ces cinq étoiles même en France (et je voyage toute l'année pour mon travail, les hôtels de luxe je connais). Le service est à la hauteur : poli, sympa, pas obséquieux, discret, ne sourcille pas aux demandes bizzares (ma femme est experte), efficace. La nourriture est très variée et vraiment bonne. La chambre […] est suffisamment spacieuse et parfaitement équipée. L'impression d'espace (le luxe de nos jours) est partout (sauf à la piscine), alors que l'hôtel était plein (bars, restaus, plage, spa, fitness). Et la plage est juste superbe (et l'hôtel est pied dans l'eau). Passons aux points faibles (en vrac) : L'hôtel est à 60 bornes de l'aéroport, soit 75 euros de taxi environ. La piscine est ridiculement petite, et évidemment réservée par des serviettes qui trainent à partir de probablement tôt le matin. Si vous voulez une place tranquille à la piscine avec les gamins, laissez tomber, ou levez vous à 6h du mat'. Mais la plage est tellement belle.... L'hôtel est à cinq km du bourg le plus proche, donc taxi ou bus (bus pratiques et faciles à emprunter). Cet hôtel est peuplé de gens plutôt agés ou avec enfants. Il convient à des gens qui ont envie de faire la fête le soir, ou d'être dans une station balnéaire avec shopping et disco aux alentours. Read more
