The location, staff, cleanliness and price were great! Very affordable. Breakfast could be better but the breakfast area was clean and neat. Hotel/Casino shuttle was very useful. I liked the hotel very much. the room was very clean and so was the hotel. I was told when I called to comfirm that I would have a fridge and microwave in the room, unfortumately that was not the case. :-(

Easy 2-minute drive to casino, and close enough to walk, if necessary. Restaurants and general stores in same lot. Only complaint about the rooms is no fridge. I was told they would have hot breakfast and they only had muffins and juice that was only available till 9:00 supposed to be till 10:00 we got down there at 9:30 and they told us we were too late! When I asked for a bagel the lady was very rude but handed me a bagel that was ice cold like it just came out of the refrigerator.

When we arrived the girl at the desk was almost rude............she seemed more interested in reading her newspaper or book or whatever it was she was reading. This Hotel had a shuttle the night we stayed that ran from 5pm until 3am. It was very convenient and the driver was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable and staff friendly. Only complaint is our bed sagged a bit in the middle. Otherwise good deal and we'd stay again.

I arrived at the Microtel late in the evening and was greeted by the front desk staff and the shuttle driver. Both were very pleasant and friendly. I was provided a room on the first floor and when I got to it, the room was ok, handicap accessible, so it had no bath tub. I called and asked if there was a room available with a tub and they promptly moved […] me to the second floor, to a much larger room, so quite a score on the upgrade! I unpacked, got comfy and decided to take the free shuttle to the casino. Upon leaving my room, I discovered that the door would not lock at all, no matter what I tried. I again called the front desk and they got me keys to the room right next door, so I easily shuttled everything over and set up camp again. I took the shuttle to the casino, and the driver was very informative, friendly and explained where I needed to be and what number to call when I was ready for a pick up. Everything went well with his return to get me and trip back to the hotel. The hotel offers a nice breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, and other goodies. The hotel is in a great location if you are visiting Cherokee, NC and the surrounding areas for the Smoky Mountains. Tennessee is just a short drive north and there are many things to visit, even though during this time of year many places are closed due to being off season. I would definitely stay here again. Expected a suite. Pictures on website showed a separate sitting area in the rooms. For the price, it should have been a suite. However rooms were clean and updated. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Siting area/breakfast area in lobby was small.

We stayed in the pet friendly, smoking queen suite. Lots of room, older furniture. The bed was clean & comfortable. The tv was old & in an odd place. Not bad for the price during a peak season. Totally LOVED that they allow pets & smoking! Great staff too!

Easy check in/check out....very friendly staff...delicious breakfast...would recommend...larger than other Microtels I have stayed at before...microwave and fridge would be nice, need refrigeration for wife's medication...upgrade tv needed...having HDTV is beginning to be the norm...

We had a great stay. It was clean, convenient, and economical. The continental breakfast was better than what several other hotels offered during our trip. We used the WiFi and the swimming pool - both a plus. The gentleman at the front desk helped us with several issues including our WiFi hook-up, mail, and groceries.

Everything was great until the bathroom comode begin to back up. The "manhole" in the parking lot was "bubling up" water, so I believe the entire motel was effected. Was checking out so don't know tyhe results. I did notify the desk and they gave ME a PLINGER to use. I'm not a plubmer !
