"Good hotel with a nice pool area."
I had a good experience staying here on a girls weekend. The front desk was accommodating and quick with some extra requests for blankets and late check-out. The housekeeping was friendly, but at one point they knocked on our door at 8:30am on the day that we requested late check-out. We were all still sleeping, so this was not a good time to check […] to see if our room needed to be cleaned. Other than that, the hotel was great and we enjoyed the pool area. Was very disappointed with only having one room with a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. It was represented to be a one bedroom with a seperate room with the sleeper sofa & kitchen. Much too small for 4 adult women.Needs to be clearer in the hotel.com description. But love the hotel itself and all that it offers. Will stay there again but make sure the condo […] is exactly the kind of space I need. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Clean, but noisy and smoky"
The hotel was clean and check-in was quick and easy. Our room must've had very thin walls because we could hear EVERYTHING in the next room. Our room was supposedly a non-smoking room, but we could smell cigarette smoke coming from somewhere and had to keep the bathroom door closed to combat the smell.Genuine Expedia guest review

"A great experience"

Rooms were spacious and very clean, although the decor was pretty dated… I'll be anxious to stay again to see the renovations that it is undergoing. They have lots of activities planned throughout the day, should you wish to participate. We only went to the making of S'mores at the fire pit, which was great for our son. The complex is well organized around a pretty cool looking set up of outdoor pool areas where there is lots of room for people to gather…. I soooo wish to see it during prime season, but it's January so all of that is closed for the winter. They have an indoor pool and hot tub which we used EVERY night as a nice way to end our day. They are just very basic, but we were very glad they were there. They also have a game room and small arcade near the indoor pool area. You have to pay for arcade games, of course, but there is also a free fuze ball table, pool table and various board games (that you can take back to your room if you want). They have a shuffle board game, small baseball field (for "wiffle balls only"), tether ball and basketball court on the grounds. Watch out on the grass (at least behind building 1, anyway)… my son dove to catch a ball and had LOTS of spiky burrs stuck in him. I don't know if there was brush recently cut down there or what, it LOOKED like basic dried grass. The location is GREAT with close access to everything in Branson. The dated decor and slow WiFi were really the only negatives. Looking forward to returning, hopefully after updates.

Just came back from Willow Ridge January 10, 2015. This resort was very clean and the staff was very nice. I booked through the Marriott as we are owners and then part of the trip through interval. At first they told us we would have to move when the first reservation was over which was on January 1. I was not happy with this and let the staff know. They said they would try to arrange it so that did not happen and called us a couple days later and said that we did not have to move. The staff was very helpful. This resort is renovating as we speak so anyone booking should have an upgraded room. This is a smaller resort and they are renovating the entire resort. We stayed in a 2 bedroom and it had a well equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and was very comfortable. A must visit is the School of the Ozarks at Ketter Center. It is an amazing school, with an amazing history. They have a restaurant for lunch and dinner and you can tour the grounds. Please check it out. We also took in a show and went to the Tiger Sanctuary (which was interesting). We found a lot of good restaurants and the river front has a wonderful mall with restaurants and many shops. A lot was closed as we were there right after Christmas but it was nice and relaxing.

This is a nice property. Our one bedroom was large and furnished nicely....including plates, cookware, washer dryer. Most of the staff was great. We did have a conversation with an older woman at the front desk ..where she tried to charge us for something in error...I held firm and she backed down. The rest of the front desk staff was great. We used our stay to have a base to see some shows..and it is convenient for that We recommend this fscility..but check your bill before you leave.
"A nice Marriott property in Branson"

We are not owners in the Vacation Club, but guests are welcome. We rented a two bedroom unit, with two baths, two kitchens, living area and balcony. It was a comparable price to the nicer lodging options in the Branson / Table Rock lake area. It is away from the main street of Branson, has nice amenities and activities for all. We visited after Christmas, so the outdoor facilities ( pools, etc.) were closed. Our unit was spacious, clean, and had daily maid service. We have stayed in Starwood Villas, and the unit would compare equally - except Starwood seems to have higher end finishes in their units. The kitchen was nicely equipted , and the interior and exterior was kept up well
"Excellent, Family Friendly, Resort!"

I was highly impressed with the wide range of activities available at the resort. There were free and reasonably priced craft activities, games, tournaments (everywhere from ping-pong to poker), and a wide variety of movies on the big screen. The movies were all fairly recent. They even provide free popcorn. The activity staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed their sangria and salsa night (free) and wine and cheese night (free). There were non-alooholic drinks available at both and children were welcome. My daughter received a nice present from Santa during their holiday celebration day (again, free--and it was a nice, age appropriate gift for my eleven year old). We ended up spending almost all of our time at the resort. Staying at a timeshare resort, I was worried that we would be pressured to tour or attend a presentation. We were not asked one single time about attending presentations. If you were interested, there was a button on the phone. Having stayed at resorts where you would get almost daily calls, this was incredibly nice to avoid that hassle. Location is just about perfect. It is right off the yellow route so you can skip all of the traffic of the main strip. It is close enough to several activities and restaurants to walk. We had a two bedroom with a full kitchen. It was more than enough space. We were assigned building one. There was a elevator, if needed, but we were on the first floor. The rooms were slightly dated. That being said, it was still far nicer than most resorts we have been to in the past. There were very generous with laundry detergent, dishwashing packets, towels, and coffee. There were extra paper towels and other supplies in the cabinets. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need to cook/bake. The washer and dryer were in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We have already talked to some friends about joining us here next year.

We were very happy with everything. The resort was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Lots of things to do. Love the pavilion where they were doing the smores in the fire pit. Only complaint was they tried to charge my credit twice. They ran my card when we check in and told us we had a balance when we checked out. This is reason enough for us not to go back in June.
"Nice rental would have preferred a two bedroom"

I rented a three night stay here and really enjoyed the Marriott Resort community. We chose a one bedroom and it turned out to be a lockout connected to a two bedroom condo. The room was nicely appointed but we did hear noise through the connecting door whenever people were in the room next store (a family). The resort had a number of free activities as well as a nice workout room. I like that the resort was close to down town but still off the main strip. We went early in May and although the pools were not open yet they were filling them. We would choose to stay at this resort again but needless to say you need a car when visiting Branson. We were on the second floor and there were plenty of elevators in out unit. The free wine tasting was fun as was the smores by the fire pit. We really enjoyed our stay.and it would have been five stars if it was a deluxe one bed room or even a hotel room. The noise (not excessive but clearly noticeable) detracted from an otherwise perfect visit.
"Marriott at Christmas"

Nice hotel set in a community type sitting right in the middle of all the Branson activities but set a bit back from the strip so no traffic or noise. The room I stayed in was small with a queen bed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. I usually bring my own pillows but I didn't need them this time. You can stay in a room just like a regular hotel or you can be an owner/timeshare type deal. We booked from marriott.com as a regular hotel. The room was exceptionally clean. I think the cleanest I have ever found in a hotel. The people were very nice. There is a main building that has a very nice indoor pool for wintertime. They have kid activity rooms and activities like making smores and cheese tastings. Extremely close to many restaurants and shopping. The community is made up of 6 buildings. The check-in and activity building. And 5 buildings with the rooms in them. I believe some rooms have complete kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms. The buildings are arranged in a circle with walkways and the large outdoor pool in the middle.
"One of the Best"

Marriott's Willow Ridge is a wonderful facility. Although not as large as other Marriotts we have stayed at, it has much to offer. Our 2 bedroom villa was comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are far nicer than others we saw in the Branson area. There were many fun planned activities and the concierge was helpful. The gym was a bit small, and lacked some equipment for our personal workout style. The staff was great!
"great stay in Branson, MO"
12/18/14 smdctroy Woodbridge, Virginia
We have been to Branson many times and often stay at Marriott properties. I find that they are some of the best available and as a Platinum member I get room upgrades if available, however, all rooms are great. You will be offered free stay in some of the properties if you will sit through a condo time share purchase. Don't bother. The cost of the unit ends up being a couple million dollars at their requested rates.
