"We'll be back to the Bellmoor."
The hotel has a very private feel. The interior courtyard provides a garden environment with flowers and water features - space to relax and read or rest. The food (Breakfast and coffee all day) was excellent. Beautiful wood-paneled reading and sitting areas off the lobby a plus.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Distinctiveness of an inn, services of a hotel"
We were extremely pleased with our off-season stay at the Bellmoor. Room was spacious and gracious, art and decoration throughout hotel was distinctive and attractive, breakfast was good quality, service was thorough and unobtrusive (we liked having restaurant recommendations for each evening posted in the elevator) - and we enjoyed the hot tub, too […] (jets perhaps not as strong as we would like, but very low chlorine and a pleasant space). "Very nice inn"
My husband and I had a very nice stay. The room was clean and the breakfast was really good. It was convenient to the beach and shopping. Hopefully we can come back when it's warmer at the beach.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was very nice but our room was shabby. In addition, it was very loud above us. When I called the front desk to try and see about it the woman was extremely rude to me. She was going to call them and tell them to be quiet which might have meant they would have been upset at us. The noise subsided at night but the woman's handling of it meant […] we will not return. "Winter Weekend in Rehoboth"
Excellent, as always. We arrived as Storm Nemo went up the east coast; it was cold and raining hard. We arrived to a blazing fire. After dropping our bag off, we returned to the lounge to sit by the fire and read. I had a wonderful facial with Tabitha Hall. We attended the Hop Eclipse dinner at Dogfish Head, wonderful food and hoppy beer. The custom […] breakfast was very good, especially the omelets and the fig and poppy seed scones. We'll make another off-season visit this year. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"We will return to this hotel again"
The front desk staff was wonderful from our arrival until our checkout. The room was exactly what I expected. The common areas off of the lobby (library and study?) were great. The nice warm fires made the rooms very comfortable in the chilly winter. The breakfast included with the room was more like a B&B than a continental breakfast in a hotel. My […] favorite was the omlet station. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The Bellmoor Inn is by far the best place to stay in Rehoboth Beach. It is southern elegance in every way including hospitality. The grounds & decor are tasteful - so well done. The staff will arrange restaurant reservations & make excellent recommendations, provide services for golf, etc. Breakfast is always a treat. Nice to have a spa in-house as […] well. This hotel was in walking distance of many restaurants and shops in Rehoboth. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely and charming hotel"
The best hotel in Rehobeth, right downtown, near shops and restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach. Coffee, tea and cookies all day long, spa onsite, comfy and tastefully decorated rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Weekend Get-Away"

"Perfect for a fall or winter get away!"
We had a very good experience staying here for our anniversary in early November. The hotel lobby is very warm and welcoming with it library and fireplace. The included breakfast was very convenient. The proximity to the quaint little shops as well as to the ocean is an advantage. We also used the gym and had a spa treatment. Our room was nice and clean […] but not really anything special. The above mentioned traits are the reason for the price. Overall, it was an enjoyable couples get away location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Charming Inn in Lovely Resort Town"
The Bellmor Inn and Spa is a charming hotel in a lovely resort city. The rooms are small, but very well equipped with every amenity from spa toweling bathrobes to tea sets and good televisions and excellent beds. The bathroom has both a tub and an excellent shower. The hotel itself has a spa, hot tub, and several pools. The shared guest rooms are delightful […] including a library, porch area, and lovely outdoor garden with koi pond and plenty of seating in a shady area. The hotel serves a lovely afternoon tea and an outstanding hot breakfast that will suit all tastes. This is a very nice inn that is quite comfortable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

We liked the location and the service. The toilet handle wasn't working properly (romm 203). The a/c is noisy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old World Elegance with Comfort and Charm"
Absolutely gorgeous. Old world comfort - from the enclosed gardens to the library to the front sitting room to the dining room and patio. Staff was very helpful and attentive. We loved taking a cup of tea to the library in the evening and reading for an hour or two. Lobby is stunning, yet very inviting. I would recommend this to anyone and we will be […] returning for another visit. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Place to Relax"
The Garden Room had a comfortable bed and nice furnishings decorated in what I would call a Plantation Theme, quite relaxing. The garden outside was totally surrounded with walls and buildings, was well done and relaxing. The staff was very friendly & accomidating. The complimentary breakfast was quite good, with omlets made to order by an entertaining […] and nice young lady. I will definately go back to Relax. It was also very conveniently located to shopping restaurants and boardwalk, all within a short walk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice, but a bit below expectations"
We were in a garden room, and the room itself was nothing special. The garden was very nice and the bed was comfortable. A lot comes down to expectations and choices. I suppose I expected better for the price. The towels were nice and the breakfast was OK. Obviously we saved some money by having breakfast there. There were ants in the room and the hotel […] offered to move us but it really wasn't a big deal so we stayed. I did wonder whether I would have preferred staying at Fager's Island in Ocean City, but the convenience of all the restaurants in Rehobeth was more important for us. The hotel was an easy walk to the beach for two adults, but maybe a bit long if you have a couple kids. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We've visited the Bellmoor three times now, and each time it's a shame to have to leave. The secluded atmosphere is immediately relaxing, and the rooms and staff make you feel at home. My only complaint is the price - if it wasn't so expensive I could visit for longer. But I guess that's the price you have to pay for quality!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"We'll be back!"
The staff could not have been nicer. This hotel is well appointed, great location and wonderful ammenities. We loved it!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I wish the adult pool was bigger. The garden surrounding the pool is beautiful though. The interior design and morning breakfast is wonderful.Genuine Expedia guest review
A very pleasant experience. Amazing that we could find such peace and tranquility just two blocks off the boardwalk in Rehobeth Beach. Well staffed and nicely decorated. Excellent breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Loved everything, but most importantly, the beds!"
I don't have a single negative thing to say about this hotel. For what you got, the price is extremely competitive for the area. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms were well maintained, the hotel itself was gorgeously decorated, the complimentary breakfast was better than any I've ever had. But for me, the pièce de résistance was the beds. […] I cannot tell you the number of beds I've slept on in otherwise AMAZING hotels that had scratchy blankets or uncomfortable pillows or lumpy mattresses. The Bellmoor had none of that. The pillows were firm but soft, the mattresses were forgiving but not broken and the the sheets were nice and comfy. Loved it. It's so rare to get a good nights sleep on a strange bed!! Would definitely recommend! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It was a very nice stay which both of us enjoyed. We normally try to visit in February, but we did not make it. Both of us are still working and feel the need to pamper ourselves a few times a year.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"So pretty and charming"
the hotel is beautiful...gorgeous lobby/sitting rooms and the courtyard lovely. Our only problem was some loud neighbors. I called hotel desk and they were very responsive and the noise soon dies down. I think the walls however are literally kind of thin, so I would hesitate about another stay. There was also some loud music coming from somewhere (a […] bar) that seemed to blare here and there was was pretty quiet by 11. Generally, I would love to stay there again. "Top notch in a boardwalk community town"
This boutique hotel is a quiet and tasteful secret of a beach town. Only a block away from the hustle and bustle of the main street and a boardwalk culture, it is an oasis. "Great placed to stay"
The Bellmoor is an older hotel, but very nice. It has a lot of charm. The courtyard is very quiet and peaceful, great place to relax a while. Sunday breakfast was very good, fresh fruits, yogurt, juice, baked items and made to order eggs. I would highly recommend the Bellmoor.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very convenient to all beach activities"
The visit was great but the morning breakfast service was slow for the special request items. Only one chef doing 4-5 requests at one time. This was changed since our last visit. The prepared items on the breakfast choices were very good. We just missed our eggs with our hotcakes. Staff were pleasant and helpful and parking was convenient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very loud at night in the courtyard rooms, and it wasn't necessarily loud conversations -- we could hear every cough of another guest in an adjacent room. I rarely complain and was disappointed by the fact that, while the room and adjacent property was nice, it was hard to sleep because someone was coughing normally in another room.Genuine Expedia guest review
We stayed two nights with friends in adjoining garden rooms that looked out to a lovely garden area with tastefully arranged wooden chairs and small tables in areas surrounded by lush trees and plantings. Although smaller than other queen rooms in large hotels, this room had beautiful decor and enough space to get sbout. The bed was very comfortable […] and the bath immaculate Breakfast included a variety of hot and cold foods such ad omlets, scones, fresh fruits and yogurts and coffee and tea were available all day and evening.Although we did not use the spa, one could easily relax by sitting indoors at a very special put favorite spot throughout the lobby and adjoining indoor porches and dining areas. The wicker sete and table in the porch facing the garden was our favorite as was the library. Staff easily arranged another night for us. The village and beach front were a short walk away. "Bellmoor Inn & Spa, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware"
well-located and convenient to Rehoboth Beach shops and restaurant, nice quiet location a few blocks away from the board walk and nightlife. Lovely and calm lobby, library, and sitting areas - did not use the spa or exercise facilities but they were well-equipped. Lots of windows in the light filled dining area inside, with casual seating outside in […] garden courtyard patio. Omelet chef on weekend mornings supplementing the generous breakfast selections of hot and cold items. 3 pm tea/coffee time with freshly baked cookies too! Room very charming decor, clean and comfortable - quiet and safe feeling. I wish I could have spent more time at the Bellmoor - was sorry to leave! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice hotel - pretty close to the beach"
And in conclusion..... This hotel was nice but in the day we were there we had a few issues. 1. Bed was hard as a rock 2. Our room had a nice view of the roof. I would think off season they would have rooms without completely restricted views. All we could see was the roof of the hotel entrance. 3. We only really dealt with the breakfast employees. […] the omelet guy literally asked everyone their order 3 times. Of course you can't expect a lot from a guy with a neck tattoo. Otherwise they were pretty disorganized for something as simple as putting out breakfast items. one lady basically pushed me out of the way to fill the utensil section that was already 1/4 full. "Wonderful For Relaxation"
I chose this hotel for some much needed "me time" and the Bellmoor definitely fit the bill. From the spa to the garden patio and the close distance to the ocean I was able to kick back and de-stress. "Will go back for SURE !"
Booked our stay based on the high ratings here on Expedia from previous guests...am very happy I did ! Very quaint...very clean....and the staff couldnt have been any kinder or more helpful. The breakfast included in our rate was surprisingly "abundant"...eggs, french toast, fresh fruit, hot and cold cereals, sausage/bacon, and a variety of toasting […] options. 24hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate also a nice touch..especially in the cooler off-season. The room was more of a B&B feel vs a hotel, which was nice....would stay here again for SURE. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Above the rest!"
Great hotel, well above other hotels in the area. I would recommend it for those who want to keep high standards at a beach town.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect location and beautiful hotel"
This hotel was better than we could have hoped for. It is only a 2 minute drive or 10 to 15 minute walk to the beach and maybe a 5 minute walk to the dogfish head brewpub. It is also conveniently close to all of the outlet malls of Rehoboth beach. Our room was a little on the small side but they were super clean and had a nice updated beachy feel. The […] free breakfast was better than some hotel breakfasts you have to pay for. This hotel felt very fancy and had an "old money" feel to it that we loved. We would love to come back! "Wonderful Mid Winter getaway"
this was our first time there and wow what a gem. We enjoyed reading by the fire in the lobby library and the convenience to all the wonderful downtown restaurants. "Winter Warm at the Bellmoor"
We went to Rehoboth Beach on a freezing, rainy weekend and stayed warm and cozy at the Bellmoor. The hotel was close enough to the boardwalk and downtown main street to do a little exploring on foot in spite of the cold. We were never more than a few blocks from the hotel. Inside the Bellmoor there are enough reading rooms and relaxing areas outside […] of the room to spend an enjoyable morning or afternoon with coffee or a bottle of wine. We were able to find a private corner for just the two of us, even in the public areas. Loved the hot coffee and warm cookies in the afternoon. A much needed romantic getaway!
