The rooms were much smaller yhat pictured. The lobby eas very crowded due to ongoing maintinance. When I booked the hotel I asked for hypoallergenic bedding and a room that was not on the first floor in turn I goy regular bedding and a room next to the pool. I will think twice unless it is a good deal.

Overall a positive experience. Stayed here for a conference. The meeting rooms were nice and food served was decent. Undergoing renovations but the restaurant and bar remained open. Renovations had minimal impact on my stay. Nice walking trail along the river right next to the hotel. Many restaurants nearby. The staff was fantastic and ready to answer any questions or concerns. The hotel had everything we needed/wanted in one place including a restaurant, pool, free parking and a hot tub to relax at the end of the day.

I was not very happy with having to pay to park at this hotel. There was even any issue about space to park because it was not by anything. I felt it was just another way of getting money out of you for nothing. was not at all impressed with the beach area and there was no view from our balcony except the bushes.

It was very easy to find. We went to the Beth Moore conference. The staff at this hotel were very nice. Needed directions to different places to eat and get coffee and they were very good about it. Drew them right out for me so we could find Tim Horton's while we were there.

Our 5th floor room overlooked the falls which could lull you to sleep if you kept the window open. The waterfront if cleaned up could be quite beautiful. The hotel was fine, and I was informed in advance that the gym was under renovation - with a free alternative within walking distance. So far so good. However the hotel hosted a major local event (a walk for heart heath) that people started setting up for around 5:30 A.M. - the hotel could have made more of an effort to keep the noise down at such an […] hour. Was in the area to pick up sons from summer overnight camps in Maine and Auburn area was the reasonably equidistant metropolitan area with standard hotels. This hotel met all of our needs. Free Wifi, offered room service dinner, offered a full breakfast (separately priced and not cheap, but reasonable and extensive, fresh, and good), 2 queen beds in […] nice sized room. Took a dip in the indoor pool and hottub--towels provided at the pool. We were present much of the day, but the housekeeping service seemed to pay attention and our room was made up during one of the few and short times we were out. This is a wonderful hotel. The staff were all very friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and enjoyed the dining in walking distance. The entire town is worth a stay and the area is beautiful.

Our one night stay here was a mixed bag. This Hilton Garden Inn is like every other one I've stayed at, same floor plan and everything. The back of the hotel overlooks waterfalls on the river in a New England post-industrial setting. The front of the hotel overlooks a huge series of parking lots. Parking for checkin was difficult, however, as there […] were just a few spots for that and they were all filled. You need your room key to get into the small hotel lot - although you can park further away in the previously mentioned sea of lots. The negative was that I could clearly hear my neighbor watching the news until midnight, and CIGARETTE SMOKE blew into our NON-SMOKING room. With a view into a parking lot in a ghost town I was left wondering why I paid so much for the room. Read more

This was our first time to Maine and we stayed in Auburn because our friends were there on business. The hotel was situated right beside a river which had waterfalls, very scenic.
