The Westin was perfect! Stayed in a suite with friends for a weekend away. The hotel was clean and the service was great. The location is perfect for walking and dining in the old port and totally accessible if you want to spend time downtown or further North. No complaints!

Price at the restaurant was high ei $16.00 for glass of house wine. Gym under reno and card for other facility didn't work

We only stayed the one night at Place d'Armes hotel, on our way back to Vancouver and then home, but we wished we had more time, and will return. The hotel staff were both welcoming and efficient (not a combination one often finds), and the hotel itself was immaculate in every respect. The room was flawless in its design, the bed was soft enough to be comfortable, but not so soft as to feel like one is clambering from a bean-bag, upon rising, (as I found in so many hotels in the States!) I particularly appreciated that the designers had eschewed a bath/shower combination in the large bathroom, and installed a large, stone-clad, walk-in shower with a beautiful glass shower screen, instead. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Old Town Montreal by foot, which was just what we wanted to do, since we only had the one night. When we checked out, we left our luggage with Place D'Armes, mentioned when we would return for our flight and, when we did, a taxi was already awaiting us. Immaculate service.

"Good Hotel - desolate location"
The hotel itself is good. Room was clean, service at bar & restaurant was very good. BUT the hotel is located in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing else in the surrounding area which means you have to drive on very confusing one way roads to do anything.

"Excellent for airport access and the Hippodrome"
Pro: This hotel has a superb shuttle service - both to and from the airport, as well as to and from the closest Metro station. The reception and housekeeping staff were friendly and very helpful, esp with information about the city and sights. The bathroom was just spotless: white, crisp and wonderful. I always stay at the Hilton; the shuttle is always prompt; and the hotel is close to the airport which is what I require and the room is very comfortable and clean.

Nous étions pour 2 nuits au Hilton Garden Inn, le samedidi matin j'ai trouvé dommage de se faire réveiller à 8:15 hrs par la femme de chambre qui voulait faire la chambre. En vacance ont peut se premettre de se lever plus tard et le vendredi, elle n'avait laissé qu'une seule débarbouillette dans la salle de bain alors que nous étions deux.
