"Located in uptown Sedona"
The property was very nice. Lighting in the room was terrible. I had to go outside to put on makeup and the lighting was too dim for reading. View was lovely from our room. They charged us an extra $20 "resort fee" which paid for housekeeping, security, etc. We have never had to pay extra for these services, they were always part of the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"In the middle of town"
We stayed for one night at the two bedroom suite - the suite was spacious, everything was new - there was a washer and dryer inside the unit which was helpful. We loved the outdoor hot tub and the hotel is right next to a bunch of shops (there was a wine shop too close to starbucks)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small Room with view of the other buildings"
Upon checking in i was pushed to attend a 90 minute presentation about what sounded like a time share at the Hotel. Then when we got to the room it was Small. I almost opened the door to the other room because i thought something was missing. The tub is to small for a grown man to sit in. "Amazingly beautiful and close to everything!"
My husband and I stayed here last weekend for our 1st wedding anniversary and it was a perfect location. Our 1 bedroom suite was gorgeous and with the beautiful decor, granite coutertops, fireplace, electric stove, confortable couch, beautiful dual sink bathroom with the lovely red stone tiled bathroom and glass door shower. We especially loved the […] jacuzzi tub next to the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved being ableto walk out onto our private patio from our room to take in the scenery. The hotel is located right next to the shops and excursion booths. It even has it's own little mall with the Wildflower Bread Company Coldstones, and a few places to shop. This place was gorgeous, convenient, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say. We had a phenomenal vacation! We are even considering buying a timeshare with this Hyatt here after such a wonderful stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A piece of heaven in Sedona"
This resort has beautiful views of Sedona. The check in time is a little late but they were very nice to extend our check out time. My inlaws from NewYork want to make this Sedona trip a yearly tradition but this time we will stay for 1 or 2 WEEKS. LOVE THIS PLACEGenuine Expedia guest review
"Will come back!"
Great clean place for families. Hotel is adjacent to a small shopping center (walkable) with one of the best bread markets ever called Wildflowers. And can walk to upper Sedona where all the gift shops and restaurants are Even accidentially found the Heritage Museum an outdoor area dedicated to the farmstead of the Jordan family, one of the orchard […] owners when Sedona was settle. Did not know this was a Hyatt Vacation Club property at booking. We were only asked once if we would be interested in hearing a sales presentation, which we declined. "Great for a family"
Great place to stay for families, and having a one bedroom with washer and dryer was key for us! When we walked into the condo, the kids said, "this is like having a house!" Everything was new and very nicely decorated, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"ok for a night"
Our room was small for a King studio suite. The bed was good, but the sheets did not stay on the corners of the bed and constantly pulled off by just turning over. That was very uncomfortable and made it irritating to sleep as it was bunching up all the time. It was a King size bed but had only 3 pillows for 2 people. The sink in the bathroom was very […] slow to drain as if needing some draino to help it. It was a clean room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The condo was great. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. It had a large kitchen area that was completely stocked and had a full size fridge! The unit also had a compact washer and dryer. Pool was a little far from our unit but we had great views. Our kids said the pullout couch was comfortable but our king size bed was lumpy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Don't Expect to check out early!"
The location was beautiful (Sedona) and the staff was friendly. However, I didn't like the fact they were trying to sell me something as soon as I checked in, the bed had a huge lump in the middle which made it impossible to cuddle with my boyfriend, and no one was at the front desk for an early checkout and the area was locked (we had to leave our […] keys with the security guy who thankfully just happened to be walking through reception). Overall nice room, but you could easily find something better and cheaper in the area. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Room couldn't be smaller"
Smallest room we've ever stayed in. We were charged an extra $ 20 for aminities not even available. Pool was empty, no desk in room to work, too much furniture in a small room. Snobs at the front desk. Gorgeous on the outside and for the most part, inside as well, but again, too small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Would stay there every time!"
Perfect for a leisurely trip to Sedona and the surrounding areas. Absolutely fabulous view of the city from the pool area! Fire pits were really neat, and it was great to have such a nice hot tub/spa for the very cold and snowy day that we were there. The room itself had more than I could ever need for a short vacation, and was very clean. In addition, […] there is free wifi which seems to be a rare thing sometimes. There is no restaurant on-site but plenty of options within walking distance or a short drive. Would definitely stay there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Room, Disappointing Service"
The one-bedroom room we had was wonderful, with a gas fireplace, a full kitchen (with a dishwasher and a washer/dryer) and a balcony. But on our first full day, we had a problem with the lock to our door, and we were locked out of our room for over an hour. The hotel staff was not able to get us into the room, so my son climbed on my husband's shoulders […] and got onto the balcony. Luckily, we hadn't locked the doors from the room to the balcony, so were able to gain entry thanks to my son's acrobatics. The hotel management did absolutely nothing to compensate us for our inconvenience. In addition, after a long hike on a hot day, we were looking forward to lounging at the pool. Within moments of sitting down at the pool, we were told that we had to leave unless our kids (age 12 and 14) were participating in the Easter egg hunt. My husband is Jewish, and found this rather offensive. We asked if we could stay, but were told absolutely not, even though our kids felt they were too old to participate. "Great Romantic Weekend"
This was a great hotel. The studio was perfect for me and my boyfriend (we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary!). The room overlooked the GORGEOUS views of the red rock, which was even more spectacular during sunsets. The room was great for what we needed. They even provided toothpaste! "Top class establishment"
My first time to Sedona, and to the Pinon Pointe Hotel. It's a truly unique building design, and one that complements and highlights the local scenery so well, you'd think it had *always* been there. Comfortable rooms, nice pool and firepit area, bakeries and shops across the street, and perfectly located for strolls into downtown Sedona. My only gripe […] was that the room rate didn't include use of the sports facilities, which wasn't made explicit at the time of booking. Had to pay $20 fee. More an irritant than a dealbreaker. Highly recommended. I'll be back. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect location, nice stay!"
This is perfectly located in Sedona, right behind a really cute shopping/restaurant area. We could walk to dinner and shopping, which was convenient. The room was clean and plenty big, a bit rustic for some perhaps, but we loved it. When we mistakenly left some clothing in a closet, they were kind enough to mail it to our next destination. (charged […] the FedX to our card, of course..) We'd definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great central location in Sedona, walking distance from many shops and restaurants. Clean modern rooms with large bathrooms and kitchens. "BETTER THAN EXPECTED!!"
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Pinon Pt in Sedona, Arizona with family members for an impromptu family reunion. There were 5 adults staying in our 2 bedroom suite and it was gorgeous and spacious- complete with a fireplace and granite countered kitchen! I have stayed in a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels in my time and this was one of the nicest! It was winter […] so we couldn't take advantage of the beautiful pool, but the views were unreal! And the fire pits were welcoming! We wanted to invite the relatives that were not staying with us to our hotel for cocktails, but since we were on the second floor the elders in our group couldn't make the stairs. Well, the front desk told us that we were welcome to entertain in their beautiful clubhouse and hospitality furnished us with cups, plates & everything we needed to serve our guests with our own food & beverages! I was very impressed! Also, one day I left my diamond engagement ring and wedding band by the bathroom sink by mistake & was thrilled to find them still there upon my return! I highly recommend this hotel- close to all & gorgeous! We also took advantage of the hiking- don't miss that! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not Worthy of Hyatt name."
We picked this hotel over the Hilton -Sedona based on our confidence level with past experiences of staying at Hyatt properties. This property is substandard for a variety of reasons: 1) Accessibility to rooms is miserable. We were informed to go up two flight of stairs walk down a path, then go down one flight of stairs. My buddy had to go up two flights […] of stairs, down one flight, then back up half a flight. The front desk did NOT point out the only elevator behind the lobby - which we found on our own. 3) Extremely dark walk ways - we fell FIVE times in our two day stay due to the lack of walkway lighting. We are in shape, and don't have vision problems. Their remedy was to use a small flashlight. 4) We checked in at 6pm, and were told we had to check out by 10 am the next morning. We could not enjoy the amenities due to this very tight check-in and check out policy - and the amenities (pool, jacuzzi, steam room) closed at 10 PM - about the time we came back from dinner - which you have to drive to surrounding restaurants. The only onsite place was sushi......I didn't go to the middle of the desert to enjoy sushi - when in the southwest, eat southwestern food! I seriously had to chuckled when on check out they said I owed $20 resort fee for the amenities that I did not have time to use. RIDICULOUS! NEXT TIME, it's back to the lovely Hilton down the road where incidentally we drove to a delicious breakfast brunch the next morning. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Hyatt Pinon Point - Sedona, AZ."
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful views but unfortunately the views from a majority of the rooms, including ours, were merely walls of the hotel. The room was really small and had a very odd arrangement of furniture; 2 chairs and a small table sat directly in of the love seat(actually touching it) and the tv was about 2' beyond that. Had to move […] the 2 chairs to be able to sit on the love seat. Unfortunately, there was no where to move the chairs that weren't in the way. There is an interior door shared with the adjacent room and you could hear everything to the point it felt like we were all in the same room. Overall the room was very small, claustrophobic and no view at all. Definitely not worth the price we paid. I wouldn't stay there again if it was half of what we paid. I was under the empression that we would have a 2 queen suite. When we checked in at the hotel they could not find our reservation and they almost sent us away. Then they happened to find us because we were listed under my first name and not our last name? We received a 1 queen bed suite with a very hard full size sleeper pull out couch? I was told […] by hotel staff in a very non apologetic way that 2 queen bed suites didn't exist at their hotel? Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
