I left a few expensive items at the hotel and called immediately after I checked out to drive back and get them, they said they "didn't find anything" when in fact they were simply stolen. Never staying at this hotel again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Pinon Pointe. However, there were a few things that definitely left us unsatisfied. We visited in late December and Sedona was very cold in the evenings and early mornings. We messed with our thermostat several times on the first night, but couldn't get it to blow out anything but cold air. When we called the […] front desk, they said that it was too late to do anything about it. The next night, we requested for an engineer to take a look. He confirmed that the heat was indeed broken and provided a small, loud space heater. Both nights we were freezing! I would have expected that the hotel at least offer to switch our rooms, but they did no such thing. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Really glad to have a kitchenette with microwave, sink, toaster and stocked dishes! This made our stay that much more enjoyable and we were able to have a beautiful christmas dinner in our room in our pj's!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Wondeful place with activity center and pool."
Stayed over Thanksgiving week. Hotel is super location for those that like shopping and eating in Sedona. Super staff. Only two complaints. The hotel ground is on hilly terrane so it makes it difficult for us seniors to get around plus, our room was down two flights of stairs+ on second floor. The second is that the hotel grounds are dark and the stairs […] are not well lit...tread with caution, the hotel said there were flashlights, but our room had none. Other than that great visit. Great hotel. No room service. Has fully stocked kitchen. Everything is close by including downtown shops. Great restaurant close by walking distance Wilflower and Sound bites. Sedona is beautiful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not worth room rate"
Hotel was ok but bed had dip and sheets where rough. Pay attention to a $20/day fee added for parking and facilities use.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Make sure you're on the top floor!"
This hotel is gorgeous with great views of the red rocks. Just ONE issue. The ceilings are paper-thin. Initially, I was on the ground floor and had to listen to the hotel guests upstairs stomp around all night long. The noise level really was absurd ... I stay in hotels a lot, but I've never had anything like this! I requested a different room, and […] have to say that the staff was fabulous. They were accommodating and pleasant and immediately moved me to a new room on the top floor. So ... just be sure your room is on the top floor and you'll love it here. "Gorgeous Accommodations - Gorgeous Views"
I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Hyatt Pinon Pointe. It was beautiful, clean, roomy, extremely comfortable bed, and the views of Sedona were spectacular. Plus, the location is perfect - right in the middle of Sedona. I will definitely stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Beautiful location, wonderful view of the red rock mountains. The second floor has a much better view than the first floor. We had a studio, it was well maintained, but small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall good experience"
We really enjoyed our room, location, and service. It is very close to the touristy area where the shops and restaurants are. The service was great and they even let us reserve time in the grill area and provided grilling tools. The pool and outdoor fires were very nice along with the view of the city and natural features that surround it. The only […] thing I really noticed was that when you sit on the foot of the bed, the head goes flying up into the air. They should really anchor the bed to the headboard. "Why the Resort Charges?"
We stayed for one night. The Resort Charges were definitely NOT part of the equation when we booked the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They continued to go above and beyond throughout our stay. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels/resorts in the course of the last 15 years and this was the best by far. Thank you!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great access to shops in Sedona"
This is the 3rd time I've stayed here. We had a one bedroom suite with full kitchen. We were at the back of the complex so our view was not of the rocks, but still nice. Much better on the upper floor where we were, than if you are on the lower as your views are limited there. We had a nice balcony with table and chairs. It is an easy walk to shops […] and dining as well as a super short commute to Tlaquepaque. The concierge arranged our Pink Jeep Tour which picked us up right at the lobby. I like this place for its easy access to downtown and shops. One doesn't need to drive to get to anything. The pool area is nice and the staff is great. We had a few minor glitches w/ lightbulbs etc and they were right on it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Actually a condo, not a hotel"
We were pleasantly surprised to discover that this is a vacation club property, not a hotel. Our "room" was actually a spacious one bedroom condo, and was one of our favorite spots during a two-week trip around the SW. We very much appreciated the w/d setup in the unit and did several loads of clothes. The only negative was hauling our luggage up stairs […] to a 2nd floor unit since there was not elevator. "Beautiful views and rooms"
The two room suite was amazing! We didn't want to leave and felt right at home. There was a full kitchen dining area family room and two bedrooms. They weren't pushy about their time share options either.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel for a family"
It was a great place to entertain my children and grandchildren. We were close to center of town, Pink Tours, restaurants and swimming pool. Would highly recommend for familiesGenuine Expedia guest review
The room was one of the nicest I've stayed in. The view of the mountains was unexpected for the price. We were fairly far from the main hotel, but the view made up for that inconvenience. I would definitely stay there again. The resort fee, which was tacked on at check-out was a bit high (around $25 for 1 night) especially when we didn't use any of […] those amenities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be better. We were able to walk to shopping and dining. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not comfortable for families; lethargic staff"
The location and views are outstanding; the room, as expected for the price, was fine. I have to agree with some previous reviewers that there does seem to be a distinction between "hyatt hotel ownership" guests and those of us who book it as a typical hotel stay. I was surprised that nearly every staff member I encountered was simply "there" and not […] enthusiastic or hospitable; I assume it is different for the "owners." The pool is small and is definitely not suited for families whose kids may make some noise, splash, or play in the water. During our stay a self-appointed "owner" regularly patrolled the pool area and would periodically call security to report some noise, a splash, or a guest who snuck a glass bottle into the pool area bringing a flurry of walkie-talkie carrying staff who swarmed the area like a bank robbery scene. There is no restaurant in the hotel although shops are across the parking lot; surprised the lobby and workout room were locked until 7am; tough for east coasters who are up early looking for coffee, a paper, or to do an early workout. I think this property works best for quiet couples and senior citizens; families should look elsewhere. The staff needs a real refresher on hospitality property-wide; when checking out I was handed my bill and told "here you go" but no "thanks, how was your stay, or come back soon." The place had a real uptight feel and employees generally appeared tired and lethargic. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"A beautiful Sedona vacation site!"
We have a wonderful time! The hotel is right on the main street of uptown in Sedona and is within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants and tour companies. We would get up fairly early to hike in the morning, lay out at the gorgeous pool in the afternoon and walk to someplace for dinner. The property has great views of the surrounding mountains […] and the room was fantastic. Very tasteful decor, very comfortable furnishing and very quiet. We can definitely recommend the Hyatt Pinon Pointe in Sedona and will definitely plan to return. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Watch out for "resort fee""
On checkout, this place charges a $22 / night "resort fee" on top of what you pay through expedia. Resort fee? So, apparently, use of the resort is not included in the room fee (nor is it optional). We stayed in a 1-bedroom suite. Very new and nice. The resort is a time share setup, but they didn't do any hard sell. The are some shops and a restauant […] on the premises, but they are not open very often. Walking into town was closer for getting food. The pool is nice. Not huge, but not crowded. It is shallow. There were tennis courts and a ping pong table and my son enjoyed the workout room (must be 16 or over). Overall, a pleasant experience, but not full service and the resort fee was a surprize. "Wonderful for all"
The Hyatt was very clean and the grounds are immaculately kept. Breathtaking views of the red cliffs no matter which direction you turn. Room was a bit smaller than expected for the price. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, although I did not care for the eventual sales pitch from a concierge session suggested by the front desk. Overall a superb […] resort. "Nice view of a wall"
We had two rooms, they put us in rooms 1611A and 1711A. Very nice, clean, comfortable rooms with a window view of a wall. The other rooms have great views, would have been great if even one of our rooms had a great view.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall very good"
This is a very nice location. Nice views and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. It is a Hyatt Resort property and it does feel like you are a bit second rate to the club owners. That said, the concierge tried very hard to make our stay wonderful. There is no breakfast available and you have to walk or drive to find a restaurant. A simple […] continental breakfast would be appreciated. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
hotel was overpriced, check in was late and check out was too early-10:00! The first room we got was in a dark hole...careful not to get one of those rooms. They did move us to a room that wasn't so dark and below street level. I wouldn't recommend this hotel because of the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is more of a resort than a hotel. Bit much for an overnight stay. Good location to main street. Very nice rooms, much like an apartment except if you want a view you need to ensure your not in the basement suites. Pool on the roof was great. There are shops and restaurants nearby and there is no real parking regulations and anyone can park there […] which means you sometimes cannot park anywhere near your room which is a real downside to this resort. They should alot dedictaed parking for the residents. I would not stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Weekend in Sedona"
We were in a second floor studio in the new section with fabulous views. The only problem was that the heater was very load when it turned on and woke us up in the middle of the night.
