Snowbird and neighboring Alta offer some of the nation’s best skiing. The Baldy Express ski lift joins the two ski resorts. These year-round resort areas allow hiking, mountain biking, and rafting in summers. Nearby, Park City hosted events for 2002 Winter Olympics. There, athletes continue to train at the Utah Olympic Park. Park City is also known for the annual Sundance Film Festival.

The overall experience was average. The bed and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The noise level was high from the pool, hallway and neighboring rooms. Not sure I would stay here again for the price.

I was truly pleased with the accomodations. The View was great....the balcony comfortable; bed was great. I especially liked the ascetics of the Fireplace. Kitchen accomodations were fantastic! I would return to SnowBird again in a heart beat! I hope we can hold our Convention at SnowBird again next year! The changing colors were wonderful!!

Our studio and the Lodge in general were everything promised on the website and more. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the Monday night wine and cheese reception was a good chance to meet other guests and residents, and the shuttle service to locations in and around Snowbird (e.g. Alta) was very convenient. The sofa bed was better than […] many we have slept on, but, as would be expected, not as comfortable as a free-standing bed. The rest of the studio was well appointed and supplied, the fireplace was cozy, and the view of the mountains and slopes was great. The restaurant on the lower level of The Lodge also had friendly and accommodating staff and excellent food.
