There wasn't any. It was very convenient to have Subway right in the hotel because this did provide away to get something to eat at a minimal cost. There is a parking garage only two blocks away at a cost of $25.00 a day other nearby hotels guests get $5 off but the Ocean Spray is not part of that group. The hotel needs to work out something to compensate their guest.

Not bad for the price. Parking sucks, but it sicks on the entire island of Miami Beach. The hotel was clean and well maintained but showed its age a bit. The staff was helpful and very nice. The Ice machine was broken, but when I informed the staff, it was promptly fixed. My only real complaints are that the shampoo, soap etc. provided in the bathroom was very limited and parking was no good. However, for the money its a great deal and parking can be found nearby for 5-10$ a day depending on if you are willing to wake up early and move your car.

The hotel was located in a nice area and we enjoyed being able to walk to the beach. However, we were not impressed by the hotel itself. Very small lobby area. There were two small flights of stairs we had to lug our luggage up. Our room we checked into was dirty...someone had left a drink by the bed, the bathroom was used (like the toilet not being flushed!). We then got a new room which was "clean". In general we were just not impressed with the hotel and were thankful we had a very short stay there.

My wife and I stayed at the Ocean Spray over the Christmas holiday. We wanted something by the beach and the action, but also didn't want to spend much. The hotel is in decent condition, nothing fancy but clean and very friendly front desk staff. The beach is just across the street. But after the third night, the bed had me feeling like I got hit by a bus (which by the way watch out for the buses along Collins Ave, they move pretty fast). Nothing against the hotel but for Miami Beach in general, it's a pain to find decent parking. The trick is to find a spot in front of a vacant building or construction site (there is one area on the next block north, and another about 3-4 blocks south, both off Collins Ave) otherwise you need to be at the parking meter at 8:00 am to feed quarters into the parking meter. There is no on-site parking at the hotel which is common for many of the botique hotels in the area. I'm sure that 70 years ago when these hotels were built parking wasn't an issue.

You get what you pay for. This hotel is on the less expensive side of Miami beach hotels. Positives: 3 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to the Fountainbleu hotel, on the bus route, room is very clean. Negatives: room is small and quirky (You open up a storage cabinet to plug the coffee maker in, the toilet has an oversized seat which leads to spraying), Bed not so comfortable (thin and pillows very thin), they run out of stuff like beach towels, $10 cab ride each way to southbeach, no fitness facilities. Bottom line: if your need is a place to crash, and you're spending all your time somewhere else, this is OK. If you're going to relax in the hotel environment, look elsewhere

The Ocean Spray is in a quiet neighborhood on Collins Ave right across the road from the beach. There is a walking Boardwalk along the beach to stroll and for great morning walking. We were able to park on the street -parking meters - but from 6pm to 8am feeding the meter is not required. If no available parking on the street, then there is a nearby hotel that has a parking garage that is available. We were able to use street parking. I would say this is not a hotel for families w/ children, but great for a couple or singles who are going to be out and about. I recommend the Ocean Spray.
