"Very central for Perth Arena."
Arrived very early on public holiday, was able to check in, staff very helpful. We attended a concert at Perth Arena able to walk to venue. Close to city, less than 10 min walk, Dome just up the block, serve a very good breakfast. We were able to leave our luggage there for the day after we had checked out, staff very accommodating. The only negative […] was that our room was the closest to the lift and could be noisy at times. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

On New Year's Eve my husband Jason and I decided to go to perth casino for New Years as it would of been our first New Years spent together as he no longer had to work away on the mines here in Western Australia so he suprised me by booking us a room at quest west end in the city. WOW amazing we were on the top floor with fantastic city view and we spent our early evening hours on our balcony enjoying our view. The staff on arrival were so warm and friendly our room was a fully equipped one bedroom apartment with full kitchen laundry even a spa in the spacious bathroom we had a real king size bed (no two singles pushed together like st Kilda) Split system aircons in both lounge room and bedroom it was luxury. I called reception to see if they could arrange a taxi for us to take us into casino and they couldn't of been more happy about arranging that for us! If you are visiting beautiful Western Australia the city of perth then I highly recommend that you spend the time and money to go to quest west end! I give it a million times thumbs up they were so warm and friendly and I swear you could eat off any hard service in their rooms as their that clean not a germ in this world would bother nesting in their!

Like a lot of Quest properties this is a well renovated older building. It is an easy walk to the centre of Perth, the railway station and about 10minutes walk to the Swan river and the ferries. Well appointed rooms and great if you like to do your own catering and laundry.
"Quest West End"
My partner and I enjoyed our recent stay at the Quest West End, the location suited us for an event we were attending that was being held at The Conference Centre. We also enjoyed being surrounded by a good choice of restaurants and shops Our check in was smooth and trouble free, the manager on duty was very accommodating to our needs We stayed six nights and were very pleased with the standard of cleanliness each day

I have stayed in this apartment style hotel a couple of times now and have enjoyed the experience. Spacious apartments are much better than an hotel room for very similar value. Great for friends or couples in a group or for those who prefer a little more space. Great location near Perth Arena. The traditional Italian restaurant attached to the hotel "MillioncinO" provides room service and the meals are delicious! Fast Eddies is across the road as is The Melbourne Hotel. Shafto Lane is a short walk away.
"Good location but a bit noisy."

Stayed here for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. Front desk staff were all friendly and helpful and are there 24 hours. Room was pleasant enough although is teetering on the brink of needing a refurb - things are starting to look a little old and dated relative to the room price. Location is good with no shortage of places to eat right outside (Fast Eddys over the road is fantastic for a hot breakfast in the mornings and Mama Tran - a Vietnamese restaurant a few shops up was hard to go past for a takeaway lunch or dinner). The hotel is also only a short stroll to everything in the cbd and Perth Arena is only a block away. The main drawback we found was noise from rowdy people on the street outside in the middle of the night. We were on the 3rd floor and were woken a couple of times by the noise of loud people/drunks skylarking and fighting outside. Also beware, they still have traditional keys for the rooms with a keytag attached that includes the hotel name and room number. We stupidly lost (or left it in the door) one of ours on the first day/night. Thankfully we put the security latch on across the back of the door that night as we slept as we were visited by whomever it was that had found our key during the night. The hotel charged us $200 to replace the key and change the lock which was a bit rich given that they just replace them in house with their own maintenance team - we were there when he did it with his glass jar of lock barrels. $50 would have been a more reasonable penalty. We've stayed in a lot of Quest apartments so its certainly soured our experience and is reason enough for us to look at other brands in the future. All in all though, it was a satisfactory place to stay - just don't lose your key.
"Great location (CBD), Always stay here when in Perth"

I travel monthly to Perth and have stayed at Quest West End about 90% of the time for the last 5+ years. The folks are always there to take care of any questions or concerns that come up. Rooms can get warm, so a/c can be challenged during summer months. Location is great as you have access to CBD but it is on the west end so it is not as noisy and traffic busy as areas to the east.
"Great location but a few short comings"

I recently stayed at the West End for a 3 night stay with work. Location is fantastic just a couple of blocks out of the CBD. The rooms are a very generous size and reasonably modern. Even though the hotel doesn't have a great deal of facilities it's location means you won't miss them. In terms of the short comings there isn't parking available on site, and given the location is in the CBD street parking is at a premium - both in cost and availability and parking inspectors in that part of town are red hot so you do run the risk of a $100 parking fine if you're not careful. Like some of the other reviewers have noted the air con is only in the bedroom not the lounge which makes the room warm and the layout of the room doesn't allow in much natural light.
"Best bed ever"

Best bed I have slept in while sleeping in a hotel, normally bring my own pillow but forget but there's was quite comfortable. The lounge room was hot no air con. But the worst thing was parking, only four bays available at car park near by, first in first served the hotel said. There is no 5 min bay in front of the hotel to park too unload with a large family it is incredibly hard to get into the hotel, in fact after 6 trips around the block we almost gave up.

We stayed for the beyonce concert in a 2 bed apartment which was clean and well located. There is a separate toilet to the bathroom which is very big. The only disappointment was the second bedroom had sliding doors with wooden slats so it was not very private and don't think that can be counted as a true second bedroom. Also there is no free wifi or onsite parking and no air con in the living area which means that you have to endure the stuffy heat if you want to watch TV.
"Very pleasant stay."

We stayed for 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment, 2 couples, only drawback was that one room was a twin, but we were happy enough not to complain. Great location, especially for Perth Arena, plenty of places to eat close by in all price brackets. The reception staff were all delightful and the rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. Will definitely return.
