We had first stayed here in 1994 for our anniversary. We had a great time. I thought it would be neat to stay again. The hotel looked the same, I think the furniture was same as it was 18 years ago. Hotel in need of make over. They really need to update. Grounds looked Getto. We stayed in back building and very dirty. Felt like cheap apartments. Pool […] area diry, towels, trash laying around. Our stay was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location was convenient to most everything we wanted to see. The room was well maintained and had nice conveniences that made it feel like home. Going to the fridge instead of a convenience store for a cold drink was very nice. Over all we enjoyed our stay very much.

I was surprised to get so much for the price I paid. This is a very large complex with 2 pools and a sports bar attached. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Very clean and well kept.

Our room was spacious and clean. We were surprised to find that it was basically a small apartment with a separate bedroom, full kitchen well-stocked with dishes and pans, small dining area and living room. I have some minor suggestions for the hotel-- add dish soap and tea bags to the things you provide. We rinsed the dishes we used but had no soap […] to wash them. The hotel provided both a tea kettle and a porcelain teapot, but no tea bags. Otherwise everything was top-notch. We didn't use amenities like the pool or the restaurant, so I can't review them. A minor ding on location due to road construction outside the hotel's control but which added a lot of time to our commute to the convention we were attending. I highly recommend this hotel. corner of scotts/mckellips is close to everything - zoo, tempe town lake, downtown scottsdale, papago park, golf, big surf. hotel has three pools - each with its own personality. daily free happy hour for hotel guests is a must attend. very friendly staff.

My friend & I picked this hotel due to it be close to the zoo. We absolutely loved the hotel. My only complaint was that, in the end, I was charged $20 more than I was originally quoted. But other than that, this hotel was perfec.

I needed a hotel close to some doctor's offices and this was perfect. The hotel has nice pools and evening free drinks (I wasn't there to get any). The room was clean and there was a pretty well equipped kitchen. The bed was comfortable and I got a good nights sleep. My room was on the first floor and there was little soundproofing so I heard everything […] outside the room. There was some noise but it was quiet at night. I would have liked blackout drapes to keep the outside light out. The hotel is quite close to Old Town Scottsdale and if you have a car getting around to Scottsdale isn't a big problem. I realize that hotels were booked up and overpriced because of spring training but for 150 an night I would expect that our room window wasn't broken, enough pillows and towels, and air conditioning that worked. The staff was nice and accommodating but the room was awkward and uncomfortable and the surroundings were quite noisy.

the "resort" is mostly concrete and asphalt. room was clean and quiet. dont expect a relaxing atmosphere with all the hardscape tho. good place to sleep but not hang out.

In town for Giants spring training games. Lots of Baseball fans at the hotel. Really fun Managers happy hour by the pool each night. Enjoyed room service delivered to picnic tables next to pool area. Staff very nice and helpful. Although we were in town for Baseball, many were there for tours and just relaxation.

This was a nice hotel, the landscaping was beautiful. The was enough room for 5 comfortably. The bathroom is inside the bedroom so if was difficult to get privacy in the bedroom. This was the opposite of what i thought resort would be. I was only in town to participate in a Tough Mudder race and the whole hotel was filled with 60+ year olds. The hotel service was friendly but the walls dont stop any noise and this location was far from being decent.

This motel served our needs perfectly--very friendly staff, close to Old Town Scottsdale--room rates were half of most in that area.....only problem we had was the toilet didnt flush to well! This is our 2nd time staying here and we will be back!! The price is well worth it! Coffee in the lobby would be a nice added touch!

There was quite a bit of noise in the room from the swimming pool activity area. The hotel room could have been better sound-proofed. When people walked by the room due to the concrete walk way , it was very loud. I think people on business would get more rest if the room did not have a walkway right outside the room.

The bed was very comfortable. Nice TV. I am not one of those people on rating on how "pretty" the place is. I just look at how relaxing it was and I was very satisfied. If I'm able to go to the Phoenix Open Golf Tournament again, this is where I would stay. The best of all was the swimming pool. Living in Idaho, I just though for granted that the pool […] was not heated because how hot it gets in during the summer, so I was surprised that it was around 80 degrees, A+. We loved every minute of it, from check in to our reluctant departure. Our room was very comfortable; location gave us easy access to all our Fiesta Bowl events. And the management was top notch. The rate for the hotel was very good. There was a sit down restaurant within the hotel, otherwise there was not a lot of food choices nearby.
