Friendly, helpful staff in this newly renovated dowager hotel. Good breakfasts included. Strangely, no English-language news channels (such as BBC, CNN, CNBC) provided and no complimentary internet. Our room, which was an upgrade, had an excellent heating/cooling system, which saved us from the afternoon sun. There was also a convenient storage room […] for luggage and bicycles. I can't recommend a hotel that charges for internet service because of the constant hassle of logging on and off, which is complicated and likely to trick you into letting your time run out while you are off-line. Hotel is very clean, nice spacious lobby, restaurant/bar is very nice & clean. Elevators are small but efficient, breakfast is excellent with a selection of bacon, sausage, beans, eggs, fruit, yogurts, breads, juices, cereals, and coffee. I would have given this a better rating if the lobby didn't have a stale odor. Also, the hotel is situated next to very loud bars that attract a young crowd. Overall thought, the rooms were nice, clean, and the hotel was an easy walking distance to everything

Convenient walking distance to train station. Right on the edge of the inner city. Make sure you get a room facing (East) at the back. Much quieter. Buffet included has limited selection but the food is fresh and the staff are friendly. Rooms are very small. I paid less for a bigger room in Antwerp (granted you are paying for the grander locale).

If you take a walk around Brugger you can find more hotels with the same rates, well located with better lobbys and restaurant . In the other hand the parking lot infront of the hotel was realy good, it only cost 17 euros per day.

Hotel was ok, nothing special. Room was small with small shower room, no bath. The breakfast was very good. The lift smelt very bad, but stairs were fine for us on the 3rd floor. The location was very good, walking distance to town centre and large underground car park right next to the hotel, only €8 per 24hrs.

The staff within the hotel were really friendly and the hotel is in a great location - short work to the centre of town. The one thing letting the hotel down is the smell in the communial areas. However, the room itself was fine.

This hotel is rated as 4 star. Having stayed in Bruge many times this hotel is not to the same standard of others we have stayed in which are a lower star status. The smell of a sewer was a constant throughought the stay. The smell was in the hotel and outside when the window was opened. Most impressed, generally, but I would doubt the 4 * rating. No restaurant facilities evident, other than breakfast. Great location, to explore Bruges, and if you travel by car, a large underground car-park opposite the hotel entrance. Friendly, helpful staff, and good clean surroundings, and rooms. It was located only a short walk from the train station (about 10 minutes) and on the western boundary of the old town, about a 10 minutes walk from the centre. There were crumbs on the floor near the bed on arrival. The bathroom floor had not been swept after our fist night. Very clean hotel with friendly and efficient service. Location is excellent. Breakfast was good. Be sure to get a room that is not on the marketplace side as it is noisy at night time with drinkers and cars and buses. Wonderful location just a short walk from the train station. Helpful staff and free bottle of fizz in room on arrival. Situated in a busy square, but very quiet in room except for the church bells. The rooms are a good size, very clean and warm and BBC1, BBC2 and ITV1 are available on the flat screen TV. There is a residents bar on the ground floor and also a large TV lounge on the first floor which is handy if you're travelling in a group. The location is very good and is only a ten minute walk from the station and the same again to the Market Square. The location of the hotel was great,ideal for the markets and shops etc. The rooms however ,although we had a lovely view over the square were certainly not up to 4 x star standard. There was black mould around the bath corner and the bath plug underside was filthy! It had never been cleaned by the look of it. There were no coffee and tea making facilities […] in the bedrooms. The breakfast was very good and the kitchen staff very helpful and nice. The lady on reception however ( not the men) was cold and didnt smile once. We didnt complain to her about the room as we were only there three nights but you would have thought we had because of her unfriendliness.
