"Good location"
Reviewed by James of Hong Kong on Oct 29, 2009
The hotel is right in the centre of Kuala Lumpur, a short walk from the Petronas Towers. Staff are all very friendly and helpful; however, the rooms could do with a bit of improvement (eg the televisions are not flat screens, just old CRTs) and it's slightly annoying that although room service is very good, you can't get anything after 11pm.

Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 4, 2008
I had an overall good stay at the Westin KL. The service was excellent and the room and hotel were both very good. It was in a fun location in the Golden triangle with easy access to shopping and dinning. It wasn't the most convenient for mass transit, as the closes option was the monorail, and transferring to most of the LRT lines was not as easy as it should be (and required different tickets). I did have a few complaints. The main one was the room I was in had a handicapped accessible bathroom. this bathroom had a number of design flaws that made it less then ideal to use. The next issue was with the lift service - 4 lifts for the guest floors was not enough. Multiple times i had unacceptable wait times. Two times over 5 minutes wait from my floor to get down. There might have been something wrong with a lift, I am not sure. Even so I feel there should be more then 4. Finally, I would have appreciated a more casual breakfast option then they offered for a quick breakfast before meetings. Apparently they can arrange this for you on request when you book. They did respond to my comment card with an email, which was nice. I would stay there again, but I would also check the Marriott and Ritz Carlton as they are all right by each other as well to find the best deal.

An excellent hotel set in the heart of KL across the road from a shopping mall which caters to everyone's tastes and wallets! The hotel is very clean and modern with excellent facilities, such as the gym, swimming pool and at least 4 places to eat. I'll definitely stay there again!

Reviewed by R of Stockholm on Jul 17, 2009
Lite halvskitiga heltäckningsmattor i korridorerna. Rummet var inte särskilt trevligt inrett. Tjock 4:3 TV.

Reviewed by C of Trollhättan on Mar 31, 2009
