My boyfriend and I stayed here on a week long ski trip. The room size was fine and they had a downstairs room to store snowboarding equpiment. The free bus shuttle to the mountains was great. We stayed for 1 night. We had to call ahead of time & inform them about our late arrival. (Otherwise they might lock the front door). The hotel is about 5 min bus ride from the railway station & then about 7 min walk. The lady at the reception was polite and gave us all the information we needed. The breakfast was good. The room and bathrooms were clean. […] It is perfect for a short back pack kind of stay as the we were in a executive double room and the space in the room was just enough for the double bed. Our room was on the third floor on the roadside and it was very noisy (mainly automobile sounds). Overall, I would say the stay was ok for the night and I recommend this hotel. Read more

A definitely no recommendation. The receptionist and owners were very unfriendly. The description on the website says the room is a queeen bed. When we saw the room, we saw a USA double bed. When I told the receptionist that this is not a queen in the USA, she said, yes, we know it. We are thinking of changing the ad. This is false advertizing. We needed […] to upgrade and pay more for a room with two beds. The bathroom had a leak, speading water on the floor. When it rained, water came in from the wall. This is not a 4 star hotel. At best it is a 2 star. A motel 6 is two grades up from this hotel. Also, it is almost a mile for the train station. We travel to Europe every year and know what a 4 star is. Read more

If you like sleeping in a room the size of a matchbox then this is the place for you. There was not even enough room for us to lay down our suitcase and open it other than on the bed. Our son's room was so small you could hardly turn around. We doubt that our car could even have fit into our room and it was classified as a double. Our son had a single....need […] we say more? The room was small, couldn't walk around the bed as it was up against the wall. The bathroom had a sliding glass door, not very private. We came from a 3 star hotel to a 4 star hotel, and lost stars in the process. Very disappointed with the rooms. Will not stay here again, sorry.

Terrible experience, the hotel do not have air conditioner, the room is very small, there is nothing to eat at the hotel. The guy at the front desk was very kind but he has no idea of a good service. He indicated a local restaurant near the hotel, but he did not know that the restaurant was closed on Saturday. I do not recommend this hotel

This is a good hotel, but is a bit far from the action. Rooms and the bathrooms are small but clean. Wifi is not free but there are two computers in the lobby that you can use. A most friendly little hotel. The staff were lovely. The breakfast was quite a banquet for a budget hotel. Way more than we expected -hot & cold selections, a range of breads and local pastries. When we booked the room dimensions were given and the room was quite compact but perfectly fine for our requirements. The station was about a five minute walk […] away, access into the old town about 8 minutes away. Fabulous tram and bus service meant you didn't have to walk if you didn't want to. Supermarket & bistro/patisserie nearby. The hotel could provide pizza and toasted sandwiches in the evening at the bar if we were too tired to venture outside again. The bed was small and stiff, but the bathroom was excellent. There were extra charges to use the fitness room (9Eur/day) and internet (5Eur/day), plus tourism taxes(1Eur/day). But I did like that there was 24/7 check-in.

Hotel was very pleasant but when we arrived we were told we had booked a 'Budget Room' which is a single room but they put two people in it. It contains a smaller than usual bed. Of course, we could upgrade for a charge. We didn't upgrade and slept in our bed which was small at only 4 feet. Fortunately we are not big people! The hotel is situated 20 mins walk to the town centre. We only stayed for 1 night and the service was fine. The room we were given was very small and would not have been suitable for a longer stay.

Binders is a small, intimate older hotel 1.2 Km from the train station - nice walk on a pleasant day without too much luggage, also on a tram route 2 blocks from the hotel. Friendly helpful staff, clean modern room, great bathroom, lovely small bar/restaurant, very nice breakfast for 7 euros/person. The restaurant is smoke free and has a smoking room […] which is a nice change from all the smoke in restaurants and bars in Austria. BUT european queen beds are not north american queen beds. To NA's they are 3/4 beds and cannot possibly sleep 2 unless madly in love. My daughter and I upgraded to 2 beds for 10 extra Euros/person per night. We were able to get adult movies in our room in the evening without asking for them and I would have been shocked if I had young children with me. I'm not sure if these movies were just teasers or if they would have actually continued for hours. The rooms (or at least our room) was small, but I find most european hotel rooms are smaller than what we're used to in NA, maybe more expensive hotels have larger rooms. I always say, I'm only in my room to sleep while on holidays anyway so it's not that big of a deal. Also, our electronic room card had to be reloaded every day, which was a bit annoying - climbing 3 flights of stairs (we always take the stairs) to find the key doesn't work and having to go back down again. The hotel was great (we had stayed mostly in hostels). Room was nice and clean. Comfy beds. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Only complaint is that it was a kind of a long walk to the town center and all the sights, although the view from anywhere in the valley is nice because of the mountains.

Hotel Binders was better than expected after reading other reviews. I travelled with my young son there for weekend ski break; on arrival at the hotel we were warmly welcomed and up graded to a large clean room, which had a lovely view of the garden. If you are going to ski, then there is a daily pick up (during ski periods) at 8.30am outside the hotel […] - ski rentals are in town and at the ski resorts. I recommend that you use the public transport during your stay, as its cheap and good - no need for cabs at all! The hotel food is good - 7euros each for breakfast and around 7 euros for (only) pizza in the evening. I hope this review helps your decision. Read more

Das Personal war super freundlich, man erreicht eigentlich alles zu fuß, das Zimmer war klein aber "oho" und das Frühstücksbuffet war toll Das einzige was etwas nervig war: das Licht im Bad geht über Bewegungssensoren an und aus. Das bedeutet, dass man unter der Dusche ab und zu etwas mit den Armen wedeln muss um wieder Licht zu haben..
