This was such an awesome hotel. The manager on duty was so nice. So happy that Applebees was just a stones throw away. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast hit the spot that morning. Next time we come down to the area we are staying at this hotel.

Overall the room was great. Situated near the mall and conviently off road, this hotel is in a great location. Only negative, the towel rack fell off the wall. Annoying.

The Courtyard by Marriott was updated and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check out O'so Tavern for dinner and for local Carolina-style barbeque go to Kepley's on Main.

For a mid-level hotel, it was very nice, and we had a very nice stay. Room was ready when we arrived and was clean. Beds were very comfortable. Nice shower. Room was quiet. Nice lobby area with computer. Just a few minutes drive to High Point University.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I came here for a conference and found that there was no restaurant, which is advertised. You can order food from a steak house a few blocks away, but it was not good and they screwed up my order both times. I also found dirt in my bathroom....gross. Nothing else to say about that. And on my last night, I started […] smelling smoke in my room. I called downstairs to complain and they said they could move me that night, which was nice to offer, but it was too much trouble to pack up all my conference materials and toiletries and clothes, since I had been there all week. This is a great hotel. Modern, well decorated, great staff! We have no complaints other than the coffee is a little bitter (and really that's the worst we could come up with!) Great attention to detail and very clean all around!

We went for a local soccer tournament. The hotel was very nice and centrally located. It was very close to the fields as well as many restaurants. It had a nice pool and the cookies at check-in were a hit! The rooms were nice and spacious, although the mini fridge lacked a freezer portion. Overall, everything was very nice.

We stay here when visiting family in the area as High Point is still simple to drive in without too many controlled access roads and plenty of local restaurants to meet the local HPU student and parent needs. GSO airport is 15 minutes away, the Krispy Kreme factory is 10, you have to have your priorities. Greensboro and Winston-Salem are close (20-30 […] minutes) in different directions as are the smaller local towns. Lexington Barbecue (Lexington #1) is 25 minutes drive on business 85, if you've never eaten there you never eaten BBQ, Google it. The hotel is clean, has the new lobby with a breakfast and snack bar, well managed and roomy. Read more
