Dirty run down hotel. Great for someone who doesn't care about cleanliness. I found a used Q-Tip in my ice bucket, stains on the floors, hair in the bathroom. Small rooms. If you are trying to impress someone, keep looking.

This place is good if your only looking for a place to crash and won't be in the room much. The free parking does make it worth the stay. When we checked other hotels they were charging $35 and because they had free parking we thought it was worth the stay as we were only looking for a place to crash. The walk down to the Pier 39 was only 2.5 miles […] so that wasn't bad. But the homeless people around this are is heavy. The cab the took us back from the Pier said this wasn't the best area and that next time to try and stay more north. Upset that they advertised a hot tub but the hot tub was not working. Grrr! The Internet worked for maybe 5 mins. There was maybe 5 TV channels to choose from. Do not try and check in early, it won't happen they will say come back later. Didn't see any bugs in the room but there were a lot of little hairs on the sheets and in the bathroom. Our room was a corner room so it was big and had a makeup station which was nice. I was out doing my makeup while my bf was taken a shower. Nice to have room to move around and not be crammed. Not sure if we would be back. I guess if this was the cheapest place to choose from again with free parking then yes I guess we would stay. There is a good sushi place around the corner (sushi Hana) which was nice. Also up Van Ness there is a different sushi place that has $.99 beers! Just drink and you'll forget that your hotel isn't the best quality! Read more

I stay in the civic center area to frequently. I found that the Oasis met my expectations for the price point and comfort. It is just outside the tenderloin area, and some may consider a bit of a rough neighborhood.

The hotel was OK. We stayed here for one night during president's weekend. It was cheap and parking is free. Other nicer hotels in the area cost just a little bit more but charges $30-50 parking. Overall, this hotel is OK, if you are just staying a night. It's equivalent to a motel 6.

Stayed there because of the free underground parking the walls are very thin, but the location is close to everything and you can walk everywhere.

Loved the free underground parking, I parked the car for a week and walked everywhere. The desk and service help were very nice and helpful. The only thing that would have made it better was if the hot tub would have been open. (It was covered but then again I didn't really ask). The rooms were a nice size and the showers were a great blast.

The hotel was not in the best neighborhood but it's so hard to find a hotel in the city with free parking it's worth it. Get a room in the back of the hotel cause the rooms by the street are very loud all night long. You get what you pay for to be in the city.

the room is a bit overpriced considering the look of the actual room, but the location is in the downtown area, very convenient. I got in late and just needed a place to rest. this place fit my needs just fine. Getting lunch the next day was easy and the front desk was helpful.

I don't mind a old hotel I find that charming but it was dirty ! even the ice bucket was dirty. I removed the blankets and hair was under the sheets so I slept on top and had a blanket in my car. The floor needed to be vacumed . I will never stay here again , the staff was friendly.

We stayed in room 402 with a single queen bed. The window had no screen so a couple of bugs flew in but no big deal. Having no air conditioning was not bad for February but in the summer could be bad. Only a heater in the room. The shower curtain had some pink mold on it and the grout in the shower needed better cleaning but sink, toilet, tub and floor […] in bathroom spotless. Plenty of hot water. Excellent Wi-Fi! Basic cable TV--about 30 channels. No cups for water and no coffee or microwave in the room but ice machine on 2nd floor patio. Carpet and furniture clean. Bedspread clean and sheets clean. Sheets very thin and bathroom towels a bit worn but very clean. Not anywhere as bad as many reviews I read. Oh, the bed was quite comfy and they are in the process of redoing rooms--rolls of brand new carpet covered in plastic in the parking garage (which is secured with a remote door that seems to be operated by the front desk person. I read on a review that "you get what you pay for" which is true, however I was expecting less. Garage was littered with mattresses and boxed springs- hope they were not the "new" ones since they were not wrapped in plastic or anything and just lying on the concrete... They staff at the front desk only saved 1 room for us. The hotel was sold out. in the end they did give us 2 rooms I purchased. The condition of rooms was 50 years old, dirty and smelled of pesticide. The 2nd room had BUGS that were killed upon entry. The visit was horrible.

When my boyfriend booked this hotel, we weren't expecting luxury. But we figured at least there was parking and the location was convenient. In reality, however, things were more ghetto than we were expecting. We […] asked downstairs at the desk and the guy said something about the cleaning people not showing up that day with fresh towels and that he wasn't allowed to leave his desk while on duty. He did promise to leave some towels for us at the front desk when he was relieved by the next desk attendant on duty. When we got back later that night, there was indeed a different guy working, but he was in the middle of a screaming fest with a lady who was very upset about the conditions of the hotel and threatening to call the police. Yikes! We were waiting to ask him about the towels and also to open up the gate downstairs so we could park in the garage. He totally ignored us, and he and the lady got more and more angry with each other. We went back out to give them some privacy, but after a few minutes we got fed up and were about to go in and interrupt when she stomped off. He didn't have the towels either, but brought some up. Don't ask me why the other guy didn't do that...but whatever. At least we could shower! As a frequent frugal hotel visitor I would have been satisfied overall except for one problem... bugs in the hotel room. I dont know if they were cockroaches but they looked like them to me.
