Had no problem with this hotel and what it offered. It was in a perfect location for our desired destination which was to tour the Johnson Space Center.

We had a great time,and it was close to the Boardwalk. No problems with the room, but the TV was not working right so I missed some ESPN.

The quality of the food was OK but much inferior to other Hampton Inns. It was more inline with lower cost hotels.

I took my six year old daughter on a four day trip to Houston this summer. We were planning a trip to both NASA and to the boardwalk at Kemah, as well as into the city for some other attractions, so the location was perfect. I know that this hotel must have, along with others in the area, taken a hard hit during the hurricane last year. But, it was not evident in the maintenance of the hotel except for the fact that everything was brand new - carpets, paint, etc., some of which was still being installed as we stayed. The hotel was very quiet. The staff was attentive. Breakfast was adequate for a six-year old (and included in the room cost). I have always had a good middle-of-the road experience at Hampton Inns and this was was no different. Personable staff. Well kept. Decent pool. Good value. It's not where I would go for a romantic weekend in the city - but for our needs, it was just right.

"RE MODEL THE POOL......PLEASEEEEE"

WE HAD A LITTLE WEEKEND GETAWAY WITH OUR 6 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER,SO OF COURSE THE POOL WAS AN IMPORTANT PART OF THE DEAL. THIS POOL WAS SO SMALL AND HAD CONSTANT JETS OF WATER SPRAYING INTO ALL AREAS OF THE POOL. IT WAS VERY ANNOYING FOR ME AND MY GRANDDAUGHTER HATED IT.

"Great location, a few techinical difficulties"

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, and it's a great place to stay if you're planning day visits to Kemah and Galveston. During our stay, however, the elevator wasn't working for part of the time, and the internet connection in our room was spotty. Very clean, though, and a good value for the money.

The hotel was recently repainted, recarpeted, and the rooms renovated. It was very clean and the service was attentive. It was a good bargain for the cost - and very close to NASA and other SE Houston attractions, such as Kemah. There were plenty of places to dine nearby...and, if you are a boater, a marina across the street. Minor downsides - the pool was your average small rectangle, and the free breakfast was as expected -- just so so. There is another Hampton Inn on Bay Area Blvd that is a notch above this one in terms of their pool and amenities - but this hotel was just fine.

We stay at Hampton Inns as often as possible and they are always very nice. We evacuated for hurricane Gustav to this hotel with our kids and animals. They had computers for the kids to play on, a pool, the workout room a full breakfast every morning. It was awesome! The kids were entertained the whole time and the staff was outstanding! They were so good about everything!! I highly recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed!

Very clean and spacious rooms. The ammenities far exceeded my expectations. They served a great breakfast, a well equipt gym, a comfortable computer room and a peaceful pool area. The location is close to the Kemah Boardwalk. I totally recommend this hotel and will definitely return for a visit.

I was amazed at the quality of the hotel room at the price. Is very conveniently located not even 10 minutes from Kemah Boardwalk. The staff was very helpful and friendly, even when some belongings were left behind!

This hotel was nice and clean! The bed & bedding was comfortable. The walls were very thin. You could hear noises from the walls & ceiling from other guests. (We stayed on the 2nd floor.) Over all nice "new" hotel. I would recommend this hotel. Centrally located between NASA & Kemah Boardwalk and only 30 miles from Galveston.

The hotel was very nice overall. The mini-fridge was unplugged when we checked in and there were no ashtrays available, but other than that it was very pleasant. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

I was suprised with the overall quality of this hotel. Rooms are very nice, front desk clerks were VERY friendly, and helpful with activities within the area. The only thing I found to be annoying it, do not plan to relax or enjoy the pool services after 10pm. We were with another couple, and after a long, hot day at the boardwalk we wanting to take a swim and relax pool side. This did not happen because of the pool hours. That was the only thing I was disappointed with.

I was surprised to see how nice it was with the granite shower and counter tops and ceramic tile floors. The lobby and room was very inviting and cozy. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.
