I had made my reservation for the wrong night and the owner was very accommodating. It was so nice to be treated that way for a change. We got to our non-smoking room and it didn't smell like smoke like some of the other places we have stayed in and everything was clean. This hotel may not have the most up to date amenities but if we every have a stop in Rolla again, this is where we will stay.

"Visit"
This hotel is perfect for visiting family members stationed on Fort Leonard Wood. It is not far from the main gate, close to some restaurants, in a good section of town. The only complaint I could stretch to making is that they could use a little more space in their breakfast area. It wasn't bad but it could get crowded easily.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice Place, Uncaring Staff"
Needed a room to prepare for a ribbon cutting ceremony we were doing at the Fort Leonard Wood museum after traveling from Fort Leavenworth, Kansas on a tight schedule. Called ahead before booking room to confirm an early check-in and explained that we would need the room before 3:00 to have time to get ready for the ceremony, which began at 3:00. We […] were told "yes, a room will be ready upon arrival". Well, we ended up having to change and get ready in their lobby bathroom because they did not have a room ready and all the housekeepers were on break at the same time. We were told a room was ready shortly after we'd finished dressing so we were at least able to unload the car before the ceremony started, but we would not have had time to be ready had we not used the lobby bathroom. The front desk clerk was not very friendly and was uncaring until after she saw that we'd dressed in the bathroom. The room was nice and we rested well that evening after a hectic day. Nice location...quick easy drive to Fort Leonard Wood Army Base. Room was quiet, comfortable, overall very clean (did have several large stains on the carpet that should really be addressed by hotel maintenance), but this did not affect overall quality of room. I was in town for my husbands basic training graduation. This hotel was just a few minutes down the road from the base. "Ok Hotel"
The rooms were clean. Some of the service was lacking. I had booked 2 rooms. One for my Daughter in law, her family and her daughter, and one for my husband and me. They were supposed to be 2 queens non smoking and 1 king. When I checked in, I was first given 2 queens smoking and 2 queens non smoking - then she realized her mistake and change the 2 […] queens smoking to 1 king. The day we were to checkout - the person who was keeping the breakfast stocked was not very friendly - and was slamming doors around, and acted aggravated to be having to do anything. Also, when I went to get a receipt from the front desk she refused to print one out claiming that I didn't get one because I had pre-paid so a receipt wasn't necessary. I am glad this was not a trip that was for business. Other than those service issues, the hotel was a nice place and was clean, the breakfast was not too bad.
